Animate

I was recently put in charge of helping build an interactive Christmas card for the company I work for. This is a pretty large company of animations, with many developers as well, so obviously this was seen to be a pretty easy project to start and complete.   Anyways, as per usual I got started on creating the interactive portion of this project while one of our animators worked on creating the animation(s) for the card. It was a fairly long animation, around 40 seconds in length with all the interactive portions being done on a paused frame at the start of the timeline.   Time comes, project is exported, debugging completed (or so I thought). Test had been done at the time using different browsers, and mobile emulation tested with Chromes responsive layout option in their devtools. Eventually we decide the project looks good, works well with good frame rates so we decide to deploy the card to our public website. I then go to test it on my phone. That is where the issue came

On Adobe Animate, how would I add white outlines to symbols like this? If someone could assist it'd be greatly appreciated

I am working with a wav file in Animate and am trying to export the video into a mp4 through Media Encoder. The audio never plays. All I hear is nothing. I tried every type of setting I could think of any nothing works. I tried just using audio from where it came from: a mp4 file I was referencing, but of course Animate just cannot export audio from mp4s when put into the Timeline. I tried using the audio from an FLV version of the mp4, but I need to render out the video from a frame other than Frame 1, and for some reason you cannot just edit a FLV in the Timeline?? Why can't I render out audio from Animate in an mp4?

Hi.I created a whole animation on a scene of a given lenght.I want to reduce this lenght, without touching the scale of the objects, then move all the objects to recenter them (knowing that, unfortunately, the general anchor is at the top left and not in the middle.The problem is that by selecting everything (either by selecting all layers with cmd-A, selecting all frames with cmd-A or by going to Edit > Timeline > Select all frames), everything seems to be selected but only the objects visible at the cursor location move...How to proceed? 

Adobe Animate crashes every 15 minutes. Sometimes the program crashes immediately after I launch it.Adobe, please do something about this! It's impossible to work!

Hello Guys,I am having an issue when warping in Adobe Animate.First, the arm disappears when creating a warp rig, and Second, it deforms a lot when creating a warp rig.I made it so it does not convert it to bitmap when warping due to quality issues,but is there any way to fix the issue with assets deforming or disappearing when creating warp rigs,  without having to convert to bitmap?I have an mp4 file of the issue

ok so basically im trying to use a masking layer to keep the pupils of multiple characters inside of the scleras, and it works perfectly fine on the timeline/in the program, but whenver i try to export it, it only shows half of the mask.  here's and example of what it looks like in the timeline preview,and here's what it looks like on test movie/exportI'm using adobe animate 2024, v24.0.4 fla is here 

Hi. I'm trying to create a maths game where there are two lots of fish in a tank. You click on a number button to say how many fish there are altogether. The audio says, for example, 'Well done. There are eight'. Then some fish are taken away (from either side) and the player has to click to say how many are left. This continues until all the fish are gone.The audio is split into three files: 'Well done', 'There are' and 'eight'.The number of fish is reset elsewhere to the new totals using the variables, var_NumberOfFish1 and var_NumberOfFish2.I can get this to work the first time, but when some fish are taken away and you try again, when it gets to playing the new number, it plays the correct number and the original number at the same time. This happens every time, so it could end up with three or four numbers being spoken at the same time. Is there a way to reset the audio so it doesn't get played again during that turn?The code is:let audioRoot = this //----------------Set up

The character rigging tools in Animate are just garbage. They havent been changed or updated to a workable tool for several years. I teach animation but I'm teaching the advanced class this year. I know about the EDAP tools, but our district has blocked the site because it's in "Bulgaria," lol. I have them downloaded but have not been given support to have student upload them... Are their any tools from a company that are purchaseable that anyone highly recommends? These will be higher level thinking students, 10-12 graders. Thank you. 

I was working on a file and wanted to change the anti-alias settings on a text object (set it to bitmap, no antialias) to see what it looks like, And then the same error message repeatedly showed up (Error message attached), And sadly the file recovered as soon as the error message showed up, breaking both .FLAs. If needed i can attach the broken .FLA if anyone thinks they can fix it.

I'm trying my hand at modern rigging - first time. I've managed to crash the program 3 times - and corrupt 3 separate files and it always happens RIGHT when I start trying to add bones. I get all parenting set - correctly, I think - everything looks FINE. Then I add a bone to the body element (a cartoon dog) and try to attach it to the head - and the head blies down to the bottom right - OFF the stage - one of the back legs goes even father off the stage - and the collar and other 3 legs go flying off in the OPPOSITE direction - ending up on the upper LEFT corner - again, totally off the stage.  The 3 previous disasters all happened with the latest version of Animate. Files were totally non-recoverable - they hadn't even been stored as temp files. Before I started this one, I decided to go back and try Animate 3.0. It hasn't crashed so far and the file isn't corrupted, but the bone thing is behaving EXACTLY like it did the other 3 times. I decided to stop and ask for help bef

 I made this 20 second ish animation with a ton of layers and symbols. And when I tried exporting, Adobe Media encoder crashed and I got a ton of errors on Adobe Animate. Now my timeline is completely messed up and I don't know how to bring back my original animation. This is extremely frustating, please anybody help me. How do I bring back my previous verisons or even just fix this?? I tried to attach my file but it says I don't match the file extension. I don't know what to do.I use the Adobe Animate 2022 verison also. Please help.

I was used to import animated SWF text files into animate. I use an old app called "FLAX", which is free, to generate animated texts.I allways could import those files properly into animate with no issues. Now, I can´t.The file is imported, indeed. Frame length is set properly on timeline, but the frames are all the same, meaning no animation is available at play.What have changed in Animate?Any way around this? I had an animation i had been working on for atleast 2 weeks, but i had recently got a pc and began to use it a lot more and kinda stopped paying for the subscription on my laptop for a month. . . But, i decided to get back into that animation and payed for the subscription again, i opened my laptop wanting to transfer my data over, but the file is now completely missing!!! I HEAVILY recall constantly saving the file whenever i had the chance while animating, yet for some reason it has vanished . . . does anyone know of a way to recover my work?

I'm trying to create a simple quiz, and it kind of works, but it pops up that error seemingly at random and I can't wrap my head around it. The quiz works by having a pool of 10 questions, each on a different frame. Hello, I just installed Adobe Animate. I have myopia and astigmatism and I can't find the opitions to let the program font bigger. may someone teach me how to configurate it?

Does anyone have an idea why parts of the arm disappear when warping?I made it so it doesn't convert to bitmap when warping and it stays at vector.  

Hello, i downloaded adobe animate to make characters animations, and i really want to know what am i doing wrong, some of my characters leafs is not tweening properly and i dont like that sometimes the character just "snaps" from a position to another, how do i fix this?

It's impossible to work. I have a poppy for m1. All updates are the latest. I don't understand why, but the program crashes every 5-15 minutes. Most often it turns off when working with a gradient.

I have an Ugee 1910B tablet--it's a poor-man's Cintique, but it's been good to me. It is set as my primary monitor. It works beautifully in Photoshop and Illustrator, but for some reason it refuses to work with Animate. The calibration just flies off the screen! I have a 2 screen setup--one is the Ugee and the other is a basic monitor. Before I start Animate, calibration is beautiful. But after I start animate, tt seems to think that my 2nd screen is part of the first, so when my pen is on the left edge of the artboard on screen 1, the cursor is half-way across screen 2. Photoshop and Illustrator don't do this, so I'm thinking it's something in Animate. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I recently changed my Mac for a Mac studio with Sequoias 15.2 and I installed the latest Animate 24.0.7 and it is clearly the most unstable version that I have had to work on, I don't even understand that we offer this version with so many bugs.Hence my question: Which version of Animate is actually stable?And my second question, what is Adobe playing with Animate? why so little evolution and so many bad versions?Thank you for your feedback (and sorry for my Google English )

Hello, I recently upgraded Adobe Animate to 24.0.3, and the color panel's gradient square (use for picking colors) looks drastically different and does not accurately reflect the actual colors being picked at all. (e.g. in the screenshot, the color I selected is bright red, but the spot I'd had to click on to get bright red is showing light orange)All RGB color picking options show wrong colors in the gradient square. Are there settings I should tweak on my end, or is this an issue with Adobe 2024 in general? Thank you.
