Hello everyone, When publishing in action script 3 the sound is fine in the browser. However, the same file if it is published from canvas, I get no sound at all. Can anyone please help? Thanks!

so, whenever i try and fill in some lines for something, all of the other section fill in the exact same section. for example, if i draw 2 lines in their each separate area and decide to fill one line in with the color yellow, the other line gets filled with the color yellow too. anyone know some fixes for this?

I don't really know what to call this, but my animate cc recently crashed and booted all my settings back to their default. It seems like my issue is a simple issue to solve, but I for the life of me can't figure out what I need to google to solve it. I have all the frames selected, and I want to paste them all via ctrl + alt + v , which before would paste the keyframes into ALL of the timeline, rather than just the single frame. It also does this when drawing on the frame, if I am not on the VERY first keyframe, it will create a new one rather than altering the entire batch Please help!

Does Animate support HDR in any way?

This is a bit hard to explain but here it goes, I want the color of my character to change over the course of the animation as they are moving. I was able to accomplish a simillar thing with my still background (light blue > dark blue) by using a shape tween but when the postion of the character is different between frames it causes the colors to move about and reshape themselves to the next pose rather than simply changing color. Is there anyway to achieve this effect in animate? Let me know if you need anymore infomation and thank you for your help!

Essentially I want to make a custom brush using the Create Paintbrush option. I select what I want and hit the button to create the brush. Animate will try to create a brush with a completely different object I haven't selected during a session. I've tried closing and reopening the app, as well as unselecting it and retrying. This feature has only worked twice out of how many times I've tried.

 This issue still effected me when completely up to date. I've down versioned to work around, incase it was an update bug.Currently running Versions: AME - 14.9   AANIMATE - 21.0.6The main issue comes from trying to export a scene from animate (B/W line animation):FILE>EXPORT>EXPORT VIDEO/MEDIA function.It simply doesn't "DO IT"Now, what I have tried is duplicating the same layers in a new scene, and this worked ONCE, and never again.I've also uninstalled various times, both programs.I've also cleared all caches, and BG data.The "solution" of doing this via Premier/AE is TIME CONSUMING for a simple export.I've check the queue logs, and it looks like this:Not sure what's the problem, was hoping someone here could shed some light, maybe it's a simple unchecked box, or some obscure setting.It's been really cutting into my work time, and I'm severly annoyed with AME.Is this an animate issue or AME?

Hello,For some reason, toolbar icons in the Adobe Animate that I'm using are too large so they don't all fit on the screen. I've noticed that in some youtube tutorials on Animate the icons are much smaller. I´m using a combobox from the components menu and when I select the item "a" from the drop-down list the text (dynamic text with an instance name/ID) in the html canvas should change to "name a" and when I select the item "b" from the drop-down list the same text should change to "name b".  I set an instance name to the combobox (sel_combo) and also to the dynamic text of the html canvas (text_canvas). Is it possible to use the Actions panel to add a java script code/event to change the text name ("name a" or "name b") as I select a different item ("a" or "b") from the drop-down list of the combobox?  

My student was trying to edit the sound inside Animate. It is imported and on the timeline. But when the frame is seclected there the edit icon is still dark and not able to edit. If anyone has any ideas on how we can please respond. Screen shot below.

Is there anyone that knows how to import a file from Procreate to Adode Animate?  My daughter is a SCAD student.  She has been told by her professor that he is unable to help if the project wasn't completed in Adobe. Thanks!  

Some background if you will allow me. I was playing with these silly computer things and actually working as a reviewer when the firt version of "Flash" released. LOVED the concept of animation but was already wearing too many hats and for some reason I just could wrap my brain around all the elements. So I have always wanted to animate, but couldn't step out of my box.Until recently something about growing older, don't know if its age, wisdom and patience or just the fact that you've lived long enough to get the medication levels right LOL. Anyway.  I get it. Conceptually, I get it.  I'm hoping somebody might suggest some resources I might use to shorten the curve as much as possible. By "curve" I mean there are different elements (symbols/graphics/movies) each one, best suited for one type of task.  Like when is it best (and I'm sure on the surface this is really obvious) to use a Classic Tween vs. a Motion Tween vs. a Shape Tween. As a rudimentary

Hello,So I have been using animate cc for a little while now, but can't seem to find much about the global scripts. The reason I want to know more is that I created an animation in After Effects, and used the bodymovin plug in to export this as an html5 file - producing a .JSON and the player being a .JS . I want to place this html5 version of my animation into my html5 canvas in Adobe Animate CC, but I am unsure how to do this?I assume there is a way to do it from within the actions panel in Animate CC, loading the player as a global script.. but then how do I bring in the .JSON file?Would be so grateful for any help with this!Thanks.

Hi everyone, Having trouble with my Fla and its drag and drop objects not appearing in their root position when moving back and fourth on the timeline.I managed to add an "add.Eventlistener" to a restart button to place objects in their original position within the frame but I'd like this to be automatic when going back to a previous frame.Ideally (!) my prevButton symbol would need to have BOTH "go to previous frame" and "start with objects in their root position". Hello! Thank you in advance if you are able to answer any of the questions below! So for the brush tool, I select, "Paint fills" which apparently only works if you have a shape with an outline on it. (So a simple red square with a black outline). The idea is that if I then take my brush tool, having selected "Paint fills," then i can draw a big line over the square. Anything that crosses over the square will vanish leaving the lines on the outside of it, and it will also break down the outline of the square. However when I draw anything, it just disappears. Why?When trying to add a gradient, I open the "color" tab and select "linear" or "radial" gradient. However when I use the eyedropper tool, the color selector goes back to "solid" color as opposed to "gradient".When arranging overlapping shape order all the "bring to front" "send to back" etc options are greyed out. I have created an animated product selector which works really well except for the Find Out More buttons. The button is located along the timeline and depending on the selection proces used by the site visitor they end up at a product recommendation. The button is set to open a _blank URL which provides more info on the product. Im linking resource links for a infographic Im creating but when I export the file to a HTML 5 file the links dont work. I make sure I have seperate layers for these links yet Im still not able to redirect to the url. When I test the file on the test movie > in browser all the functions and links are fine.  

I'm looking to create numerous banner ads for campaigns that would have several sizes and messaging. When there's a change to text, could it be done in one place and flow to every banner ad with that text?

when drawing with a low opacity brush I'd like to have the color build on overlapping strokes without having to change the opacity/color or draw on different layers.

Hi all, For years, we've created interactions using Adobe Animate (with canvasjs / videojs /etc) which is timeline based, using a this.stop() where we need the timeline to stop. For some reason, since upgrading to the latest version of Animate, there appears to be a delay between the this.stop() being called and the timeline actually stopping - and it appears to be random, and depending on the device. It's causing serious havoc in our interface, which means we may need to look at using something else like Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate (no thanks). For example, the action frame below has a this.stop() on it - the blue line is where it actually stopped on a Samsung tablet.   Any ideas to my super vague question? Thanks,Andrew

Hi guys,I have created a banner for a client that has three animated buttons, each with its own link.Everything works fine from browser, it passes html validator but when I want to check each button by clicking on it I get the message: Warning: This creative is not using the ExitApi. The Google-hosted ExitApi is required to make a select area of the creative clickable. Without the ExitApi, a click on any portion of the creative will click through to the landing page set in AdWords. If this is intended, please note your click was successful and should track correctly. Of course, I dont't want it to go to landing page, but to specific product. Can someone help? I am on deadline.

Is there a way to edit or redraw an object that has been converted to a mesh using the Warp Tool? I want to have the option of retouching the drawing without having to reapply the mesh. Hope that makes sense.Cheers,Jason

I am working on a summer project to convert my old educational Flash apps to something modern. I just learned that Flash Professional is no longer available and it has been replaced with Animate. But when I open my old Flash files in Animate, my Actionscript 2.0 code within the file is lost completely! I don't even get an option to export the code to an external text file! Animate's Help is no help on this issue.Is all my old code now lost? Is there a way to install Flash Professional temporarily so I can at least retrieve my old code from the .fla files? Help me Animate Community, you're my only hope!
