Animate

Hi everyone,I am currently making dynamic chart with its data is random generated and column can be grouped.Dataset is random generated using number.Column is number range and can be changed (such as 1-10, 1-5, 1-20...).Column height is dynamic => Max value and step value are also dynamic.I want to ask if we can make chart like this in Animate using dynamic dataset?Thank you very much.

I've hunted for reasons for this but nothing simlilar is popping up.  I've created a simple walking character using parenting & classic tweens.  There are only instances are of the same objects for each item/limb (one common error I found when searching was multiple objects created accross 1 limb, if you like!).  Exporting as asset appears to work find, but in trying to then import that to another stage or to the library I get this error. No further details.  Any 'common mistakes when exporting assets' I can run past?

If I draw something in my main timeline and then later convert it to a symbol, the order of my layers gets all messed up. Is there a way to prevent this when converting to a symbol so my outlines are still above my fill? I know a better workflow around this now but I don't want to have to redraw old elements.

I have six symbols on the stage. When a user clicks each, I want it to lose most of its opacity. As a beginner, it seems like there are many ways to acheive this, but I'm not sure which way to go, and so far, haven't been able to do it. Do you get the transparency effect on separate timelines for each object or on the main timeline, or is it easier through js? Some basic setup advice would be appreciated.

Is it possible to create a short GIFFY directly from an Animator.fla file? 

I have an 11 minute file consisting of four subfiles One of the files is 7 minutes long, so I added the three other files to it, using scenes. With the Start Media Encoder Render Queue Immediately box checked, The "Export Media Creating Movie" stops at 99%.   I would appreciate help in this matter.   James Bowen

I previously had Adobe Animate installed on my external hard drive and it worked fine but it was too hard to keep plugging in as it requires it to be plugged into a power supply. So, i uninstalled all the adobe things on my creative cloud (Including Animate). Now im trying to reinstall it to my new external hard drive but it keeps saying "Unable to install on a network drive" so i tried to install it on my desktop and it says the same thing... How do i stop this from happening??? 

When I open Animate CC I get several recurring error message windows that continue to appear after clicking ok. eventually after clicking OK enought times I can make them disappear long enough to create a new project or open a file etc.   

hello, I use adobe animate for 1 week, I noticed a problem when I moved objects with the directional arrows. When I press a lot of arrows up and down in equivalent ways, the object moves slightly to the right. Same thing for the left / right arrows, the object moves slightly upwards. How to solve the problem? I will give yet another example: when I press the left arrow on the keyboard, the object does not move only on the X axis but also on the Y axis, but why on the y axis?   Moved from Using the Community (which is about the forums) to the correct forum... Hello, apologies i am new to using animate. There will be a simple solution I just do not know how to use this software yet. On photo 1 i can see the keyframes. In photo two when they are grayed out I cannot. How do I make photo 2 like photo 1?

Hello,Sorry this is a specific answer I'm looking for :s I'm pretty new at using adobe products and for a project at school I have to create an animation, I was planning on doing the foreground and character animation in Animate CC then imposing it on separately moving backgrounds/still images, when editing it in Premiere Pro. Could anyone give me some advice of how to go about this? Many Thanks

I am trying to animate the mask_mc from left to right using TimelineMax. I need a simple setup to set the position then move it across. some of the parts to a tween are coming out weird like the bangs have a weird line (image below)theres like a line just coming out of the bangsanother issue i have it i made a symbol with frames in it, and set it to loop, and it shows up in the project, but when i export it it doesn't move at all. Same thing for another symbol which has frames in it and still doesn't move on the exported.and those type of symbols usually don't show up on the exported video, please help I need to post this project very soon :[

I am using AS 3. "input1" is the name of the input text and "button_85" is the name for the search button while "moon" and "sun" are examples of keywords to be searched for.the problem is when i use this code there is no error code notification, but the search button doesn't work.

Just like my title says, when I try to move things with the arrow keys for precise moves, the objects move diagonally. But only in one direction. When I press ANY of the arrow keys, it moves diagonally up to the left. Is there a setting I accidentally turned on? I tried installing different versions of Animate but it does it in every version. It wasn't happening earlier in my project, but recently. Is it possible it's attempting to move it backward in a 3D space? Any help would be appreciated, this problem is making it hard for me to align things...

Hi, learner question here, I want to edit some text in Animate, I can double click on the text then edit it fine,  but I cannot then find a way to go back to view all layers after that edit without using undo.  The 'view active layer' / 'view all layers' burger doesn't take me back it just opens a bit of blank space below the layer I am editing.  Advice please. Thanks

Hey I'm super new to animation software (beyond Photoshop gifs) so was wondering if Animate is the best to create a looping loading bar or I should just bite the bullet and jump into AfterEffects?If Animate can do that, and there's a tutorial - doesn't have to be exact - that I couldnt be pointed in the direction of that'd be much appreciated.Not sure if it's relevant but I'm very well versed in Photoshop, Illustator, and InDesign. Thanks!

Hello fellas, my Adobe Animate crashes at random intervals of 15 secods after each time I attempt opening it, anyone got some ideas for a solution? Re-Installing doesn't work. Other adobe stuff works well i.e Illustrator/photoshop. I have several projects to finish by the end of the week but the app just wont cooperate ;(Hope someone finds a better solution than throwing my computer from the window of the 10th floor

Can anyone tell me why the Brush tool in Animate responds differently than in my old version of Flash.I am using pressure sensitive in both but in flash the tool seems to be much more expressive (the lines vary more in thickness) whereas in Animate (Classic Brush) the line has a much more consistant width.Can I adjust settings to get the same effect? I can't find settings to do this.See attached examples.
