Animate

Project is in HTML5 Canvas..I want the video to stop looking (which I know how to do this) BUT I want the button to still animate (when I hover over it it gets larger).  It seems it will do that, but then once it reaches the end, it stops because I did the this.stop() How do I stop one with out the other stopping?

Hey all! I am very new to adobe animate and am using it for a class that I have. I am trying to create a very basic puzzle, but when I use the "Drag and Drop" code snippet the project stops working when I test it. I have checked to make sure my puzzle pieces all have their own Instance names, but that particular code line just results in a syntax error when testing it in the browser. I am not editing or doing anything else to the code line, just adding it to a piece (PP1 in this case) and I get a white screen when it loads in the browser. Is the code itself bad or am I doing something wrong to cause this?

This seems like the simplest thing in the world, but I can't figure out a simple way how, if I'm currently in a symbol, to get access to the element that IS the current symbol I have open, on the timeline of the symbol that the current symbol is in.The way I've done it until now is really clunky. There has to be a better way. Currently, I use document.exitEditMode() to exit into the parent timeline, and use document.selection[0] to access the currently selected element. Is there a way to do this without exiting the symbol?

Hi I want to move my animation to a new position. But if I select every frame it moves only from where my time indicator is. How can I move everything to a new position?

When I test my video in aminate, the visuals (especially test) are crisp, but my media encoder MP4 export is softer.  Output quality is 100%, are there other formats I should be paying attention to?   Would Premiere Pro improve results? Thanks

Hello community. I have some questions puzzling me regarding adobe animate. I'm trying to export my PNG sequence I designed from AE and imported into AA. when I select export sprite sheet, I end up with only 1 keyframe, although I have selected the symbol which was converted from the PNG sequence. I also try the auto size, incase it can generate the PNG sprite for me. but It ends up exporting only 21 frames from the total frames. for example I have 128 frames, and my artboard I have made 200 x 200p to get a nice square vertical PNG strip. this is what I need to do. Thank you. Images attached.    And is it possible for adobe animate to  export large vertical sprite sheets, for example: 150 frames, and the PNG sequence is 1000pix X 1000 pix?  Anyone familiar with Animate can test this please?

Hello! I really hope these are not stupid questions as I'm new to Animate. I'm having issues with seeing some of the HTLM files after saving them to my work Dell Sharpoint (Outlook) folder.  I'm creating animated HTML ads in Animate. I normally create display ads in Photpshop and send them to vendors but we wanted to add animation and try something different. I'm saving the files to a Sharpoint folder  as  .html and only some of the display ads .html show in a browser. The others show a blank white screen when opening. Even the ones I can see working, my coworkers can not when I try to send it as an attachment via email. Next, do I need to put these in Ads Creative Studio then export and send to vendors for them to put as  ads on their website? Is that the issue that I have not done that yet? These ads are not just for Google. Attahced is one of the ads that shows in my browser and one that doesn't. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Also, here is the video I

I'm trying to import some audio into an Animate project on my MacBook Pro, but when it gets added to the project, it is represented by a flat line, and when I press play, there's only silence. I've imported it as a PCM wave file, an AIFF file, and an mp3 file, and none of them work. What should I do?

Good afternoon, I'm tryintg to make an animation with audio, the audio type is a wav - 8mb, but when i use the option "Play(Enter)", it takes like 1 to 3 seconds to play the animation because of the audio, I have already changed it's configurations and saw that other people's Animate doesn't have that kinda problem, it's stressing because I want to make my animation quick as possible, what can I do? I'm desperate. And I'm 100% sure that is not a GPU/CPU problem since besides that, the program works fine and smooth. Thanks! (please notice the delay of palyback 😞 )

So I see people talking about resizing the stage but I want to resize all the frames instead because they are super big and is causing a lot of lag because of it

Ever since the "Animate" update it's broken. I drew my frames as usual and when tring to fill in the character with the paint bucket tool nothing happened. All my lines are closed, I've redrawn them countless times, nothing. If I just draw a stupid simple circle though, I can fill that in just fine.

I can open my .fla file just fine but when Animate wants to save (either auto or manual save) the progressbar reaches 49% and then it tells me an error has occured and it needs to close the program. I was just testing the program, and I created a simple motion animation, and added a stop on the timeline and it simply does not work. Not with a motion tween, not with a classic tween.There are no errors on the output. I also checked the browser console, and tested in multiple browsers. I am using an mc (movie clip symbol).All by the book. I never had these issues with Flash.This is a simple thing, and I have no idea what is going on.

Hello,  I was wondering if there is a quicker option to move between layers in your timeline over a shortcut, eg. crtl+ arrow up/down, so you don't have to select your active layer every time per mouse click?  Thank you for your help!

I have an 8 minute long animation.Within the Animate CC, timeline and audio and everything is perfectly synced.IF I export a video, the video is BLANK, but I can hear the audio.IF I use the media encoder and publish as the H.264, the audio gets out of sync as the animation goes by, so after 3-4 minutes you can notice it a lot.How do I fix this? I don't get why the MOV file is black with no visuals but that's less of the problem, I wanna know how to fix the media encoder out of sync issue.This is a bit urgent, any advice is appreciated. I've been searching for an answer for a few hours now but cant find a solution.

Hey, quick question. So I have a pretty big screen for a laptop (3840x2160). Will lowering the resolution help with adobe animate performance? Like processor and graphics card wise? I've tried a few times and it seems to help a bit but not sure if thats just my immagination. Also searched for answers online, but I get conflicting answers so I was hoping an adobe employee might have a bit more insight?
