Hello, please help me solve this problem: how to fix this bug, like when you start playing the animation from some place, you can’t hear the sound. And when you play the animation from the beginning, the sound is played. It's completely inconvenient to do animations. HELP I BEG WITH ALL my SOUL! I use Adobe Animate CC 2023

Hello!   I am a senior in my Bachelor of Science in Digital Technology and Innovations focusing on Game Design. My professor utilized this link in their lesson this week: https://creativecloud.adobe.com/learn/animate/web/manage-workspace   I was disappointed and sad that Adobe,  a billion dollar company, did not have the ability to change the speed of the video. I have been diagnosed with ADHD and PTSD and learning poses challenges to me for a multitude of reasons and havign the option to watch an educational video at 1.5 or 2 times speed with subtitles helps me so much.. My school is in Arkansas, one of the poorest states in the United States and even our video uploaded by our professors have the ability to change the speed of the lecture. and view with subtitles    So I ask you, please make all videos on your site to have the ability to be watched at different speeds and include subtitles. It is honestly embarrassing that it is already not like

Had a student with a question. Tried to effeciently give her a way to attack a scene. I have a file quick test file, will post the link to it.Tried to have a torch with a loop, nested flame animation tweened, make a graphic symbol out of it.Then on the main time line have a bunch of instance copies of the symbolParalax the torches lined up going across the scene. What's happening is when I go back to the main timeline, and I have all the instances, I try to classic tween a paralax of the torches going across the screen and it's forcing me to create another tween symbol. Hello Everyone, yesterday I was working on animation and I feel some of colors are not supporting. My question is why would some colors of an object disappear when it is converted to a symbol?Thanks

Is this possible in Animate CC? Was going through some content today from the Animators survival kit. I see that your taught to animate simplified figure and get the keys down first. Then extremes with a very simplified figure. Once it's animated, then you go back and think about clothing and everything else. How can you translate this technique to animate cc? How can you animate the scene with simplified figure for timing, and then go and attach items and cloths later? This would help my students be able to focus on a few things at a time then many. Thank animate and animation experts. 

my old computer died and i got a new computer loaded up animate and now i have this color picker I don't like. I don't see any preference to change it.I want the color picker on the left of this image where i can slide lighter and darker values.

Do any of you feel it's likely or even possible that the ActionScript 3.0 API Reference will ever go offline or cease being publically available permanently?Adobe ActionScript® 3 (AS3) API ReferenceIf so, do we have any archived alternatives or ways that we could back up the API Reference in the event that does happen?I ask this because I still use Actionscript within Adobe Animate for my animated videos in the same way that After Effects users use JavaScript to automate their animations. And I'm unaware of any other means of viewing the API reference should it go offline for any reason. Thank you for any input or thoughts on this matter.

When I use the asset warp tool on an image thats over 1500 pixels it makes me lower the pixel count, how do i override it so it doesnt change it? 

I am using canvas/javascript. I have a variable that I declared and gave a value of false on the main timeline.var end = false;I want to use this to track when a movie clip, named 'ani' that is on the main timeline, has reached its last frame. I have tried multiple methods and none are working. On the last frame of 'ani' I have tried...this.parent.end = true; andexportRoot.end = true; Neither worked.If I do 'console.log' from within 'ani' it prints 'true'. But if I do 'console.log' from the main timeline it prints 'false'. What am I doing wrong?

I've checked some of the threads on resource management tools, but can't seem to find anyone with version 23.0 experiencing this problem, so posting a new thread to find an answer. I use the Asset Warp Tool to animate some graphics. I create three keyframes, animate a twisting loop (usually modifying the middle keyframe), and save it as a graphic element. But when I use the Quick Copy function to copy a new graphic element, I find that the Resource Morphing Tool animation in the new graphic element gets corrupted. See Figure 1, even the original graphic will be destroyed and the first frame will simply disappear.

I have created a 5420x3345 image for a book cover, using Animate. I need to produce it in PDF format, but I can't export at at all. 

After moving my .fla files to an USB drive most of said .fla's no longer open on my PC. I get the message 'An error occurred opening file...' when trying to open them using Animate 2023. Some details:I can open the files normally when using Adobe Animate 2021 and 2022 (but not 2023)I can work with 21 and 22 but those versions are very unstable for me, crashing every ~30 minutes or so, I'd prefer using ver. 2023 if possible..fla's that are downloaded from third sources ALSO get me this error. I downloaded custom sprites from a website and every single .fla received the same message, 'An error occured opening file...' upon opening.I've tried:Reinstalling Animate (didn't fix)Trying to repair .fla's with Winrar (Winrar refuses to open the rar/zip file, stating it's either corrupted or an unknown format - didn't fix)Any possible fix besides clean OS reinstall? I'm simply stumped.

Bonjour, depuis la version 2024 d'Illustrator, les objets que je copie-colle vers Animate se transforment automatiquement en clip, ce que je ne souhaite pas (je souhaite avoir des objets de dessin). Cela m'oblige à utiliser Illustrator 2023. J'ai regardé tous les paramètres et les préférences mais je n'ai rien trouvé. Aussi, je n'ai rien trouvé sur le net à ce propos. Avez-vous une idée ?

I've uploaded my Animate HTML5 with javascript included to my website, and linked the image texture file to Google Drive. The animation is playing but only one of the layers are showing. How would I create this animation something like cloth goes infront than behind in animate?

When I try to select a color from the art on the layer, the eyedropper picks it up as transparent. When I try to use the bucket tool on it, it doesn't work. Yes, I'm on the correct layer. I've never encountered an issue like this and it's really getting to me. The frame is set as an object layer.

insanely frustrating.   I then have to switch to the arrow tool and move it back to where the line was originally drawn.   I also have object drawing turned on, and it used to be the case (in 5.5) that a box would automatically surround the line after releasing mouse/stylus button.   that way I could instantly delete it or do whatever I wanted without have to highlight it which requires changing tools.   I hope someone can help! thanks

Hi, this happened right now but when i click the home button nothing appears and this part of adobe animate (look in the image) is not appearing. 

Hello!I'm trying to count how many turns the yellow dot (this.area_mc.yellowDot_mc) makes before reaching the center or edge.The yellow dot goes from the edge to the center and then back. I placed a vertical rectangle (rect_mc) and tried to identify the number of turns made with hitTest, but I don't think I was able to make the coordinate transformation work. The rectangle can be either inside area_mc or outside, but the yellow dot must be inside the area. im using mousedown, pressmove & pressup event on object (create & easljs) for drag & drop activities. Everything was fine (windows with mouse, mobile phone & tablet) until digital smart board becomes a thing..it runs both windows & android but my superior make a noise why its not working on windows environment...howww

Just updated animate, when drawing (object drawing mode is off) the 'vector groups' animate makes are working funky. The transparent parts of however animate stores layers are not transparent, and so the image adobe makes is overlapping with other layers? For whatever reason updating the frame (I mean like updating a redstone block, not updating animate) by toggling locking or visibility temporarily fixes it, but when played the problem reappears. Halp, I need to animate 😞 

After the last update, the audio in the timeline (stream mode) does not work, only when I click enter.
