HOW TO SET UP MIC INPUTS, IN AUDITION 11 TO RECORD USING, M AUDIO FAST TRACK WITH PHANTOM POWER, ON MSI PC? HOW DO I SET THE ASIO SETTINGS? GOING CRAZY OVER HERE.

This has consistently happened every time I use my current workflow for adding music to a VO in Multitrack Mode. I open my template (2 tracks. 1 Voice and 1 Music with some plugins in the Effects Rack). I Save As... the new file name. I drop the voice into Track 1. I drop an MP3 into Track 2. I enable Remix on the music. Drag to get the music length where I want it. Tweak any of the plugins that need to be tweaked. Then I Mixdown Entire Session to New File. I then Save the SESX file.  If I open it again, the remixed music is still there all split like it was before, but the actual waveform is gone and if I play it the music is just silent. If I double click on the segment it opens the music and it'll play just fine, it just is blank in Multitrack mode. The only way I have been able to fix it is to delete the segment, readd the music, and remix it again. If I Save it and open it immediately back up the waveform is gone again. 

Hi, I'm using Center Channel Extractor in one of my tracks. I have split my track into several clips, and I want to use different Frequency Range in each clip, or in some clips I don't want to use this effect at all. Unfortunately, when I close the program and open it again, all the Frequency Ranges have changed to Start: 20 Hz and End: 22050 Hz, which results in the track sounding awful.  I have made presets for this effect for each different clip that I want and set my own custom Frequency Ranges. Yet when I open the program, open the file and edit the effect, it shows that I have the correct preset chosen, but the frequencies are completely wrong. I need to choose the preset for each clip every time I open the program again and I find it laborious. How can I make the frequencies to stay as I want them to stay? ThanksNina

hey,my schoolclass and i did make some recordings for our school. I was in charge of the audio. I never did something similar like this before. Now in the post production we noticed that the audio is broken at some points. My Guess is that the a false microphone recorded the voice.... Is there any rather simple fix to solve or art least better mistakes like the short part attachedregards per-Luca

When I click on 'OPEN' nothing happens. What could be wrong. Subs are up to date and so on.....

[Mod note: Given a thread of its own]   Everybody has the ``free'' CS2 formerly downloadable copy with its' endemic serial number - or as you said can easily find it online - and a few people have or can find the 3.01 or 3.11 to lay on top of that, but whether you copy the whole program you downloaded including its' serial number and unique installer that works with that specific serial number - it still gives strange error messages inbetween.   Sometimes files won't load, sometimes you can't save, sometimes you can only save to a low-res format sometimes the save has an automated voice talking over it etc etc etc.   Thousands of low-budget radio stations are still using it the same as they are using the Loopology to make their spot beds - I heard one the other day on a brand new spot and had to shake my head.   The other thing even major-label production houses are doing - with the resurgence of matrix quadraphonc enthusiasts coming out of the woodwork - is the fac

i'm using 2017 Audition to try to analyze energy distribution of music so i can design speakers that properly allocate available power to different frequency bands ( woofers vs midrange vs tweeters ) ...   i am having an issue ...   Audition on most tracks shows 30 decibel differential between peak of bass kick at 50 hz and begin of high frequency rolloff at 10 khz ...   that is to say it shows 50 hz as -20 db and 10 khz as -50 db ...   screen shot below is analysis of the entire track " PSY - Gangnam Style " for example ... but other tracks look similar ...     but over at a speaker building forum i saw data posted that shows only 15 decibels for the same drop:   https://techtalk.parts-express.com/forum/tech-talk-forum/64801-musical-genre-specific-average-spectral-content   15 decibels is suspiciously HALF of 30 decibels, yet the overall shape of the curve is actually basically the same ...   they both show peak at 50 hz and rolloff beginni

Hi, So I'm mixing a feature film that is 90 minutes long. I'm currently running around 32 tracks in a 5.1 multi-track session. Everything seemed to be handling fine for a while. After I purchased and imported the 2 plugins from Izotope, Audition has seemed to become glitchy and lagging.  I've pre-rendered the tracks that I'm not currently working on that had heavy plugins in use on track effects. My workflow has become much slower with all of the spinning color wheels and freezing...Was curious if anybody had experienced issues with the Izotope plugins "Voice De-noise" and "De-hum"? Or is it just problematic, because they are pretty powerful plugins that require a ton of CPU usage? Thanks so much for any replies. If you know of any ways to reduce CPU usage or to somehow reduce performance issues, I'd love to hear about it. Oh, also, I'm reading all the files off of a 4 TB SSD that has speeds of 1050 mb/s. Thanks!

Hello, i started using Au today for rap but my the software says there is a problem with my sound equipment and when i go to "preference" it says everywhere (clock, in and out) that my earpods are not working. But when i select "no enter" as enter i can hear the music but obviously can't use the mic. Please help me 🙏

I’m new to using Adobe Audition. This software and Premiere Pro have been deployed to my workstation from the Creative Cloud licensing agreement my employer has in place. My operating system is Windows10. I need to use the Text to Speech feature in Adobe Audition v22 to create audio files for videos.   I have not used previous versions of Audition and i've started a brand new project for testing this feature. In Adobe Audition, i seem to be limited to two choices in voices: Microsoft Office – English (United States) 1 female - Zira or 1 male - David. I have downloaded the English (Canada) and French (Canada) language packs available for free from  Microsoft Office onto my computer. When I follow the online tutorial on how to change the text to speech language followed by a restart of the computer,  it does change it on my computer. However, when i go back into Audition and into the Effect - Generate Speech screen options, Language is greyed out and shows o

Since version 22.1.1.23 of Audition was installed, I find that Audition crashes every time I exit the program whether or not a file has been opened. For what it's worth, the contents of the latest of many log files are attached:- Any suggestions anyone?Phil

Hi, I've interviewed a guy who wants his voice to be altered for privacy issues. It is a long interview, and very intense and emotional in content, so I'm trying to change the voice so he can't be recognised but at the same time keep it as natural as possible. I've tried playing around with pitch and the EQ, but not satisfied with the result. Any ideas? Thanx

Using Rode Wireless II mike (normally good results) while masked with N95 resulted in muffled sound. Anyone know of tutorials to improve this specific type effect in Audition?

I keep having this weird problem with Audition 2021. It starts out fine. Running a mic through a Universal Audio Apollo Twin interface, recording in mono for voiceover. It records. Everything's there. I stop. I go to record again, seconds later.... nothin'. I click the record button, the button panel reflects that (ring around the record button, the other buttons change, etc.), but the playhead doesn't move, and nothing records. At the same time, the little volume control floating control panel goes dead. I've hit stop, and it's still grayed out and unresponsive. I have to select a small portion and delete and then the volume button is live again. However, I still can't record. What the heck? What am I doing wrong? Have I hit something I don't realize I've hit? I'm pretty certain I haven't. It really seems like when this happens, it happens for no reason at all. I would like to write a script (in ExtendScript Toolkit) that would take a .wav file, make a couple of copies, apply some effects to each and insert them all in a multitrack session. This should be pretty straightforward, but I have not been able to find good documentation or examples on using ExtendScript with Audition. After reading the forums, my impression is that ExtendScript works with Audition, but there's no documentation beyond some automatically-generated help. I wonder if somebody can point me to a similar script that I could modify or if there is another way of accomplishing the same automatically.

Hi, is there any solution to load file 20 hours long in Adobe Audition? I want to cut this to pieces about 1 hour long.

My art school paid for Auditions for us and told us to select "STUDENT" log in with our school student emails. Problem is that I cannot attempt to download Adobe Auditions without it asking me to downlaod Adobe Creative Cloud, BUY NOW or FREE TRIAL. How do I download just Auditions to me HP laptop and access my paid for subscription.

I was working on a complicted multitrack session for a client for HOURS.  Deadline is tomorrow. I saved frequently and revised. When I played back the mixdown there's a super weird glitch about 13 minutes in the track is repeating itself and now the whole thing from then on is a mess. I pulled up the orginal recording session as well and it sounds super weird all the sudden - this is the master file I saved and didn't touch,  When I finished I did get an error but I remember what it was. I do have the back up folder but I'm afraid to open it. The audio files LOOK totally normal but just play back really weird.  Can anyone help trouble shoot or point me in the right direction?

Hi everyone,I'm having a problem recording streams from different services. When I choose Directsound or WASAPI as output in player and MME or WASAPI in Audition, it records too loud with too much bass. How can I adjust this setting?Otherwise, the simple reading of the streams is correctly equalized!Regards

When I'm exporting my edited audio in audition it isn't sounding like the same I have edited. Any idea why?

this seems like something that would logically be a part of audition alreadt but the track select forward tool from premiere would make editing and then adding sound effects or additional audio much easier.

I'm new to Audition and can't find any shortcut for moving with my keyboard faster. I found the "Move Playhead to right/left" keybinding but it's so slow to move long distances with that. Is there a way to use the keyboard to move longer distances than 5ms each time?
