Audition

Im new to Audition and would like to burn an audio CD. I have the latest Version of This Software Downloaded from The ADOBE Creative Cloud and do not know why i keep getting this message. I want to be able to burn CDs or Audio Projects I make for Podcasting. What is going on ...I have been on hold forever with Adobe  Tech Support for this product. Can I use Audition to burn My Projects with ADOBE CC Version that i pay a monthly subscription for? My computer is Brand New DELL XPS with a PLD DVD+-RW I Uninstalled Audition and I restarted my computer dont know what else to do. I want to have the ability to burn audio projects to disk. what should i do?  

Mixing dialogue I have track sending to a reverb bus. Bizarrely the effect bus plays it's audio about two seconds ahead of the dry signal, which plays properly, not delayed. Even more bizzarrely sometimes the problem would go away in playback, but would re-emerge when exporting the project.I rebooted, restarted and made sure I was updated to the latest Audition version. I even tried changing buffer size. I conducted many tests to isolate the problem.Eventually I was able to determine that it was a prefade send creating the phantom pre-play. When switching the effects bus to post fade the problem disappeared from both playback and export.This is fine as I was able to make adjustments to the effects with the send post fade, but I am perplexed by the problem and might really want to use a prefade send one day. What could explain this behavior?

Hi. This is the thing. I'm ducking he music manually, bringing down the volume line (yellow line) in the music track, but when I hit save and close the session, the changes don't apply and I'm stuck with the same volume level (see pics). Surely I must have another volume parameter defined somewhere, but don't know where. Thanx.

I will do a "save as" with a different name and when I edit the original file that the "save as" file came from it changes the save as file too! Any ideas on why it is doing this. I have even tried three or four layers deep of Save As and it changes all of them. 

I drag the video in the program, but I cannot move the video in the program and I cannot see the video. what should I do? .mp4   win 11   last version

Hi. This is my problem.  Track 1, voiceover. Track 2, FX.  Sometimes, when the sound of the FX kicks in (a broken glass, for instance), it ducks the voiceover slightly. What am I doing wrong? I have not defined ducking parameters or anything else, for that matter.  Thanx!

So, as the title of this post says, I'm having a lot of difficulty getting Adobe Audition to even find my Rode NT1-A microphone as a means of recording audio. I'm an aspiring actor, with a specific interest in video games/animation etc. and right now, I'm looking to just start recording, doing impressions and getting comfortable with using my equipment and the software itself. I'm using a MacBook Air to run Audition, with a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 2i2 (3rd Gen) preamplifier and it's plugged into my MacBook via a USB adapter. I've made sure to allow my laptop to let Audition record audio, too. Can anyone potentially offer any help? I'm finding it very frustrating, as I've searched for resolutions to this problem and have been completely unsuccessful at every turn. Thank you in advance.

Long-time Adobe CC user here. Today I recorded an important interview, and at the end of the recording session, Audition wouldn't allow me to SAVE THE SESSION because my bank had detected a possible fraud issue yesterday and put a temporary hold on the card I have on file. For clarity, instead of emailing me about the issue, the software prevented me from saving important audio until I entered new payment information. My feature suggestion is to leave vital Audition functions intact and email someone if/when their payment method fails. My question is, has anyone else experienced this, and were you able to find a way to save your project? If a customer doesn't have an alternate form of payment handy it could become a real problem. Thanks!

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to connect my Akai EWI5000 (electronic wind instrument) to Adobe Audition (22.6.0.66), in order to record with it, on Windows 10, please?I have connected the EWI to the PC, via the USB port and it is being recognised as a microphone. But, no sound input is visible on the track meter, when I play it.Any suggestion about what interface I might need to add, or settings changes I need to make would be very welcome.Thank you. Stephen

Hey all, I produce a podcast that has a significant amount of editing work. It's part history, part fictional so lots of SFX, bits, character work, etc. We're adding video to the show and I'm looking to see if I can take my finished Audition project and match all my cuts & edits to a video track in Premiere. Doing all my cuts in Premiere first and then going into audition to do the rest would effectively double my work time, so I was hoping there was some automated sync that takes the video track and automatically cuts it wherever I already cut the audio. Admittedly probably a miracle ask, but hoping someone has an idea!

Hi guys I've got an issue where my izotope plugins won't show in adobe effects. I see them on the scanning plugins window but then they don't show up to use. Anyone know why this is? 

This will probably just muddy the waters, and it's gonna be short...but I feel impelled to say something. I have cs6 creative suite. I also use resolve. I have a laptop with internet connection. I have editing computer system with NO LAN... no internet. I have microft OS on both. The laptop gets forced to update stuff on occassion. The edit computer is in it's own world. When I use audition on laptop I only have MME as a choice now. No longer ASIO is an option. I have no clue why. If I put sound file into audition on laptop it often does nothing and I have to go into preferences and choose EXACTLY THE SAME settings I have (MME, realtec, speakers, etc.) and miraculously it now WORKS. I have no idea what's going on. The only difference is the laptop is online, and the edit computer is offline. So I suspect the problem is with the OS upgrades and some confusion regarding the focus of audition to SEE the specs it is supposed to see. The edit computer doesn't have this problem. Like I said,

Incredibly frustrating problem. The Rode microphone I'd like to use works perfectly in the Microsoft in built voice recorder but not in Audition. Checked preferences etc but nothing works that I can see. Is this yet another argument between Adobe and another tech company?

In Audition... when playing back mix, regardless of where I start to playback, about 2:20 minutes in white noise swells up on Left audio track, and stays on until I pause or stop song. Pressing play again... the white noise comes back around 2:20 minutes. I have listened to this mix once with no noise, several times with it only at the end of the 40 minutes mix, and now I'm getting the noise everytime. See quick video for example... Dear community, hello everyone! I make screencasts. My problem — lots of usless words, like hmmm, ommm, aaaaa, and long silent pauses. I need to remove all this trash from my video with related video section. That's why "remove silence" doesn't fit for this case (it will mistime audio and video flows)Hope such a tool exists and some kind one will show me how it works. Thank you and have a great day:)

Hello, I often use marks when working on my rushes. But if I cut some part of the audio file, in multitrack view, the marks are moving, they don't stay at the place I 've choosen on the audio but they are stuck to the time in the time line. Is there another way to deal with marks ? Thank you !

After updating Audition, I can no longer select one channel by itself in waveform mode.  Both channels have an L and R icon, and when I click them, the color of the waveform changes slightly, but not as it used to do. Previously, I could just click the icon to deselect a channel. That no longer works. The color changes, but if I edit, it edits both channels.   How do I turn off a channel now? Why is there an L and R at the end of both channels?

For example, the "windows" used for the RMS statistics overlap? If so, by how much? Which is the default value for this setting? Hallo,  Ich suche dringend Hilfe. Ich arbeite normalerweise mit zwei USB-Mikros und Audition für ein Interviewformat. Jetzt wollte ich ein drittes Mikro für eine weitere Person hinzufügen.Habe alles beim Mac über das Audio-MIDI-Setup eingerichtet und Audition zeigt auch alle drei Mikros an! Nur schlägt kein einziges aus, wenn man auf R drückt. Wenn ich das dritte wieder entferne, funktionieren die anderen beiden wieder ganz normal. Es ist auch alles in Takt, Mikros, Adapter etc. Ich denke irgendwo bei Audition muss es ein Problem geben, da alles andere tadellos einzeln funktioniert. 

Hi - I'm new to Audition and I had it all working well two days ago with my Presonus io24 interface and Heil PR 40 microphone. I recorded in Audition and it played back well. Now --- the recording seems to work well -- but when I play back the file, I get an echo-y distorted playback on that file. I've checked EDIT and PREFERENCES and everything seems to be chosen correctly re equipment. I'd appreciate any help. THANKS
