Audition

Hi.. I have an older edition of Adobe Audition CS6 .. I guess it does not rate CS anymore. the boxs are all mixed up and some missing.. does anyone know how to reset Audobe Audition CS6?.. I just want to uninstall and reinstall and have it look like it did when I first loaded it.. BTW, yes I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times.. it always comes back to the same messed up look

Hey, so I'm using Audition for a mini-musical composition, I've got two tracks and I'd like them to loop a few times, but what I don't know how to adjust is the loop offset. For this, I right-clicked on both tracks and applied the loop "effect".As you can see the offset is set by the dotted grey line, as it's not as I want to and because they don't match, I'd like to know how to adjust the offset to my choice and to make the match or how you can loop it using other ways if this is the incorrect one.Thanks in advance. 

The dynamic link between Audition and Premiere is a true weak point of the software. In post production there is not always a picture lock. If the client wants a change in picture (and the audio editing already had to be done), there is no quick solution to send important changes (e.g. timing of individual shots) to audition. The lack of this feature is why we sometimes switch to premiere pro for audio post. Changing the position of single shots (even after creating submixes and adding VST Instruments) is not a problem anymore, but of course the software is not really designed for audio-related work. The solution I wish for would be the following:- Entire Postpro has been done for a movie- Client wants changes where clips change position or even will be exchanged- After the Film Editor makes the changes, he renders a file (.xml or similar) or sends changes (like in a team project)- in Audition I can import the file to the current project or accept the changes that have been d

I regularly record my dnd sessions with friends. This time around I had a small mixup at the beginning, where the recording stopped for a moment and then continued, and another at the end, where audition wouldn't respond and had to be force-quit. I recovered the session, as I'm used to, and saved it... or so I believed. My suspicion was aroused when I noted it appeared to save instantly, rather than taking the usual minute or two. Only after closing did I realise the mistake. Only the few seconds early in, before the recording was paused got saved. Can I still re-open and recover the full session? I'm using build 12.1.2.3 on a Mac running High Sierra 10.13.6

I didn't have this problem until right after the most recent version of audition CC came out.  I use a Behringer 404 interface to record 4 mics into audition multitrack.  The recorded audio has begun to sound choppy and robotic. I use to use the device Class WASAPI but have since updated the drivers for the Behringer and now use ASIO.  This issue has persisted but is not present on any other audio software that I use it with.  please help thank you.  

I found this forum by Googling how to create Isochronic Tones with Audacity.  I see someone responded by giving the OP a link to an Isochronic Tone Generator.I need the instructions on how to create an Isochronic Tone.  I can't figure out how to get the tone to "pulse" [see image]. Would anyone be able to explain the process of how I can make my tones pulse to create an Isochronic Tone?Thanks 

Hi. I'm having serious issues with my Audition. I really love teh software but its is crashing every 30 minutes, leaving me with problems with my job and delays. Not nice to pay every month for an app that seems to crash constantly.  I hace a Macbook Pro Max with 32 g Ram, so the hardware is obviously not the issue. Since the last Monterrey OS update the crashes are constant. Help, I'm seriously considering leaving Audition. 

Hi all, I can't currently seem to get Audition to open/maximise. It seems to open and run as usual, and shows the set up screen, but then it doesn't pop up as a window. Clicking with the mouse on the Audition icon at the bottom of the screen doesn't do anything.  Other apps including other Creative Cloud apps (eg Photoshop) work fine. Any ideas? Many thanks Dave

I think my mic was broken and didn't notice while filming. Now when I open the project, I only hear noises but not the voice I recorded. Is there any way to fix this? I watched many videos and read many threads but couldn't find anything to fix this.

This has been bugging me for almost 2 months, thought it was just a 2022 problem, but this happens with the 2021 version as well.Basically, whenever I'm working with multitracks, even without any effects, with asio4all drivers to get less latency, at 512 I/O buffer, it skips randomly and it also makes it difficoult to listen to the whole track... If I want to listen to just a piece, I take the playhead and click on the part I want to listen to, 5/10 times, It plays nothing but the playhead is still moving... What gives?I'd love to know how I can resolve or if this is a known issue at Adobe.Thank you so much for listening, take care! 

Hi! I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have some audio that has come through with loads of background noise - must be a mic fault. I am not very advanced in my knowledge of Audition - i can use the noise remover but that's about it. I've tried clearing it up but it's just distorting the voice. I'm not sure what to do - it's for a work thing that's due tomorrow 😞 Can anyone help? I've got four audio files like this - I've attached one so you can hear the issue. For my usual setup I don't have the background noise, just do abasic noise reduction and amplify. Link to audio  Thanks so much!

Hi !I am doing podcast recording and using a two-line audio box (I have a PreSonus AudioBox USB 96 and a M-Audio M-Track Duo). Both boxes are having the same issue when connected. I have two AKC P120 Mics that are connected in Line 1 & Line 2, the box is plugged via USB to my laptop. I have the channels set as follows:As you can see - Even with the individual tracks input set Track 1 to Line 1, and Track 2 to Line 2, they are both picking up Mic 1 only. Does anyone know why this is?Both mics are functional and I can see the input lights flickering on the box for both Mic 1 & 2, but Audition can't see the Line 2 mic? Any help appreciated - I have been trying to find an answer for weeks! 

I'm using a SSL 2+ audio interface with Adobe Audition. (upgrading from an Audioscience card in my computer. Now I'm having clicks in my audio. Anyone else have/had this problem and if so how did you solve it? Mahalo! (thank you)

Hallo, ich bin auf der Suche nach einer Funktion, mit der man die Betonung eines Wortes verändern kann.   Beispiel mit dem Wort "Auto" Eingesprochene wurde das Wort als wenn danach nichts mehr kommt: Das Auto.   Ich bräuchte es aber als:  Das Auto steht im Halteverbot.   Die Betonung ist halt so gewählt, als wenn nach dem Auto nichts mehr kommt. Versteht ihr was ich meine? Bitte um Hilfe oder Ideen.   Beste Grüße!  

Hallo zusammen, ich bin auf der Suche nach einer Möglichkeit, ganz viele einzelne Ansagen die alle ein einer großen Datei sind einzeln zu exportieren. Meine erste Idee ist, dass ich eine Ansage grob markiere und diese dann über irgendeine Funktion (ich weiß nicht ob es sowas gibt) den stillen Anfang und das stille Ende automatisch wegnimmt, so dass man eine Markierung perfekt von Anfang bis Ende hat.Gibt es denn sowas? Oder gibt es für meine Aufgabe direkt eine andere Funktion? Vielen Dank im Voraus. 🙂

I just bought a program to convert .ses files to .sesx files, because I want to be able to open my old work. Now I cannot find the Ses2Sesx app anywhere on my PC. Who knows how to convert my files. I paid nicely for everything Audition and Ses2Sesx. I do not get it. thanks in advance

Using the Windows version of Audition, latest build 22.2.0.61. I'm batch processing a set of files, some .M4A and some .OGG. The batch process will get about half way and then simply stop. No error codes. This computer has 128GB of RAM and a fast processor, so that's not the issue. Can't seem to find a cause. any ideas? Thanks!

Hello,I have a podcast, and I'm trying to implement live sound effects.  I have a Windows PC, Shure SM7B mic, a Xenyx Q802 USB mixer, and a Stream Deck.  Is this possible, and if so, what else do I need to make this happen????  I've been trying all day, but keep hitting brick walls. I can hear the Stream Deck audio through my PC, and while the Shure picks it up during my recording it sounds like garbage because it isn't using it's own channel in Audition.  THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU GUYS CAN PROVIDE!  Jamie

I've been recording with an Antelope Orion Studio Synergy Core interface on Windows 10. If I add any of the Antelope Audio effects (AFX as they call them) to the tracks, Audition will start playing back the track with a rhythmic popping noise and then close itself. Is there a way to fix this? I've already set my Thunderbolt buffer to 512 and made sure everything was recording/playing back at 48KHz, not with conflicting sample speeds.  Normal recording and playback work great. The Audition effects have no issues. It's just when trying to utilize the Antelope AFX.

Hi all, new user of the newest version of Audition. I have an issue with a delay in recording after track 1. When I record track two, there is about a 1-second delay in comparison to track 1. I see the delay while recording when looking at the track although when actually recording and playing along with track 1 it is in time. A second note is that I recorded my first song and did not have this issue which leads me to believe that it is not a hardware/ sound card issue. I am using an external sound card - A behringer U-phoria UMC202HD. I didn't change any settings between song one and song two. I did notice the latency was set at 200 so I reduced it down to 30 which is the lowest setting. That did help some but there is still a slight delay.

Exporting my multitrack file to MP3 and its missing several tracks. Mixing a song with voals and only the song made it to mp3 missing vocals. 

How do I reset the window layout of Audition v 14.1?

I've messed up my layout completely and everyone seems to suggest this hold shift + open trick. It doesn't work – at least, not for me. I know I'm doing it properly, because when I try it, the new user tutorials pop up. But the layout is in the same messed-up state. I can't see anything about layout in Preferences either.  Does anyone have a solution? I've installed the most up-to-date version of Audition, and I've been using the software for years now. 

I need to batch process a lot of WAV files and I want to have two effects applied to them in a specific order. I started to record a favorite. First I added 30 band equalizer rffect then match loudness afterwhich I stopped recording favorite and save it. However, when I went to apply the saved favorite, only the  equlizer effect saved not the match loudness and I don't know why. I tried it several times and only the equlizer effect saves to the favorite.I don't want to apply the match loudness seperetly since I want to do a batch process and apply both effects at once as a favorite with the EQ applied first then the match loudness. Can anyone help?I am currently using version 22.2.0.61 of Audition.

Hello, I just bagan editing my very first audio clip for a class project to make a podcast. I recorded a phone conversation using my call recording app on my phone. It created an .amr file, which was readily converted to .wav by Audition. I have been using the call-recording app for years and in the past when reviewing recorded phone calls, the disparity in volume was always an issue but then again I wasn't using them for making a podcast but didn't think it would be insurmountable.For example, my own voice spans the entire db range, whereas her voice tops out at about -21. I selcted a small portion of her voice and increase the volume to, oh, about -12 max, but it's still just barely audible.So, am I doomed? I didn't do a test run because we hadn't spoken in so long, I wanted to capture our initial excitement. And there were some revelations on this call that would make my surprised reaction impossible to recreate. We're on separate coasts so in-person is not possible. To yo
