Hello;I accidentally deleted the radio announcer or voiceover preset  from the Effects Rack in Audition. How can I replace it. Audition 13.0.11  Thank you Francisco 

Hello, Audition Friends. When I export my session, nothing shows up in the folder I try to save it to; external hard drive or same laptop. Along the exporting process, a window pops up and says that one or more file types are unknown? This doesn't happen with any new or old sessions. They export just fine.  Adobe suppport has been unable to help me after a lengthy time on chat. I senior support person can't get back to me til after the weekend. Thanks for any ideas! Or even a suggestion on other work arounds.  

Hey guys I'm fairly new to Adobe Audition and am having problems with the mixer panel. When I use the mixer and click on one of the tracks to write, it doesn't edit anything. After moving the fader to edit and playing the track back from the beginning, the fader doesn't move to show the edits I tried making and no key frames are added. I'm really confused why this is happening and tried looking up a solution online but haven't found anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I keep getting an error message when I try to quite Audition that, "One or More Files Are Actively Pursuing Jobs. Please Cancel these jobs or Wait for them to finish."Where do I find these jobs? How do I cancel them? I tried googling this on my own but have not found anything.

When I have my audio clip imported into Audition, I am able to highlight a small section and capture the noise floor by right clicking (only sometimes). However even if this has been successful, when I go to capture the noise floor for the dehiss process, I am able to click the 'capture sound floor' button but it times out within miliseconds and just doesn't bother capturing anything. What can I do? Thanks

I have a large number of VST and VST3 plug ins and since my recent Audition upgrades they are no longer loading in my effects. I have tried rescanning, removing the search folders in Audio Plug in manager, but to no avail! Interestingly there are TWO VSTs that do show up as can be seen in the attached image. As an example, many of the AU plugs seen here have VST or VST3 versions which do not appear in the scan.Am I missing something?

Lately something has been driving me crazy. I'm recording a long audio book. And I'll look over and see the wave form has turned into a squared-off solid rectangle instead of the obvious normal wave forms. I stop the recording and listen to what happened. And it just started recording some horrible electonic static for some reason. There is no corresponding noise in my computer anywhere, and certainly nothing in the room or anywhere else. Has anyone else had this happen? I'd sure love to figure out and prevent this. I neglected to take a screen pic of it. But next time it happens, I'll add it.

Is there a way to set a keyboard shortcut for "Lock in Time" rather than checking the box in Clip Properties?I'm sure I used to have one in a previous incarnation...?

Input metering, during recording, seems to be only available in the "levels" metering section and not in each track sidebar. Is this correct or have I just not found the right menu item to switch it on?

This was originally posted in the Premiere forum but was suggested I try in the Audition forum. I downloaded a webinar as a mp4 and towards the end there is suddenly rather a lot of echo in the presenters voice. I tried dereverb and this does absolutely nothing at all so I was wondering whether there are any other ways which I could try? Thanks

Using a desktop and laptop for over 6 years.  Adobe Audition standalone (CS6 Version 5.0).  In the past I can de-activate and activate the product.  I had a problem about 4 years ago, and the ADOBE teach was able to reset the activation server.  Now I have new equipment (Windows 10 Desktop and Windows 10 Laptop) - I am unable to de-activate (greyed out).  In attempting to install to the new computer, a pop-up window has come up. Message says, "The serial number 1137-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx (I'm not writing the actual serial number here) is already in use by the maximum of 2 computers. You need to deactivate another computer". - The current Adobe Tech Support said, "... we do not have a support team for perpetual products. In a recording (wav, mono, 48) done by iOs riverside app we have a lot of micro "dropouts" with 160ms lenght and 0dB. Nearly every 15 to 20 seconds there is a micro pause (not only a mute).  I'm looking a way to spot them exactly and maybe automatically delete them and trim the audio. So, Diagnostics > Delete silance only lets my spot silence up, but not "to" a specific lenght. Is there any chance or idea, how to make this happen and delete thos micro bastards in bulk? Otherweise we have to spot them manually... 😕😕 Thanx a lot! Win 7 - Audition CC v11.0.0.199For my videos I normally record audio through a Behringer Audio Interface. I connect main mono mic to Input 1 and a backup mono mic to Input 2. The result is a stereo audio file in which the left channel is my main mic and the right channel is the backup.In Premiere I prefer to have a separate "doubled-up" stereo track for each mic. So, for example, my audio track would be my main mic with both L & R channels showing the same signal that originated in the main mic. I only use the other mic as backup.As I record many files in such a way I wish to quickly process them all as batches. I tried both Audacity and Audition and each have their own problems. Hi there, I was using Audition to edit an interview. I saved it, left the laptop for a while and then came back, my laptop had died. Now I have the track added and its playing but I have no sound or wave tracks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. See image below.  

Hi...Every Thursday, I open Audition and hit a couple of custom shortcut keys, pick my recording template and start recording. Not today. None of my customized settings (templates, shortcuts) are there. I am using version 14, it's build 14.4.0.38. Can someone tell me how to get them back??? Please??

Hi there,  Having this problem wherein I can't load sessions - none work. I open up a session and it seems to load. However the moment I try to click anywhere, I get the beach ball (I'm on mac). This just started today. Have tried reinstalling and turning off enable extensions.  

This is not "strictly" and Audition issue, I don't think. Because it also periodically happens in Reaper. But I'll be merrily editing and suddenly (about every 15 - 30 minutes), the controls/cursor will shudder/stutter, and then continue playback, but with no sound! this is resolved by saving, shutting Audition down, waiting 5 seconds, and then restarting Audition. But this wastes a lot of time. This happens on my Windows 10 computer using a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (3rd gen) interface. Has anyone experienced this? If so, was there a solution? BTW, this does not happen on the MacBook. Thanks!

Hi all For a considerable while now I cannot open an sesx file directly from File Explorer in Win10 Pro.  Clicking the sesx will open Audition, but I then have to manually open the session from within Audition.Happens whether I'm running 2019, 2020 or 2021.  My system defaults to 2019 for work compatability.  If I use "Open with"  in the Explorer window I can choose CS6, CC2019, 2020 or 2021.  Opening with CS6 does load the sesx as it should, the rest not.  It did work back when, but then M$ did  updates and everything went to pot. (Why does that not surprise me....?). And yes, I have checked file associations.... Anybody else have this? Anne 

Hi All, I'm new to the audition world, I'm trying to do a fairly niche operation.  I'd like to feed audition a short sample of audio, then have it automate removing that audio waveform from a bunch of tracks. The waveforms should be identical on all tracks.  Is there a way to do such a task or is that out of the scope of this product?

When I try to open Adobe Audition, all I get is a black screen. Premiere opens just fine. I'm on a school-managed Windows 10 desktop, that was recently updated and C drive cleared. I've tried to open it by opening a .pkf file, but nothing really works. I haven't seen anything similar to this on help forums.

Cannot download Adobe Audition in Windows 11.  I get an error stating MSVCR111.dll is missing. 

Hi! I produce a podcast and am stuck importing 3 tracks from a multitrack recording into one waveform file. Each clip from every one of the channels are appx 30 min long so I have to go into recording1.wav and copy track 3. then paste it into masterfile.wav track 1, then back to copy track 4 from recording1.wav and paste it into masterfile.wav track 2. Then the same procedure for tack 3 and 4 in recording2.wav. I do this in order to put them all together in order so I can process them in waveform to then putting them into a nwe multitrack project and start cutting. Is there a faster way to do this? Put multiple tracks from multiple files in order into a new file after eachother?

Hi! Is there a command (or a combination of commands) that letts the playhead jump back for maybe three seconds and the start playback?Regards,Tobias

I have a copy of Audition CS6. Every where I look it's being used for editing videos. Can it be used for music too, especially for trying to match levels of songs before burning them to CDR?

I have audio from a recording of a two sided conversation over Zoom. The two people are talking over zoom but just recording their own video and audio. One of the video files has some faint audio coming through the person's ear buds. I am attaching a short clip of the audio, you can hear the person breathing and then faint audio of the other person on the other end of the Zoom call. Is there any way to go through the whole audio file and silence any audio that is under a certain level?
