I have used adobe audition in my church to record preachings and whenever our ministry wants to record. If y'all can see the image I uploaded the purple static wasn't there before. It recently started showing whenever we click record. And all of the sudden whenever we created a new audio file the sound is loud. We have a behringer x32 and also a little board where the audio goes from mixer to pc. The static however still shows up even when the mixer is turned off and we just click record, so it's not the mixer but it has affected the audio. A while back whenever we started recording it would just show the vertical line indicating the recording seconds but in dark, no purple static was detected with the spectral frequency display. Anybody else has that problem and how to fix.
I'm really frustrated. The whole point of audition is to record vocals/aduio and edit it. How is it that when I do a multitrack set up, throw in a beat and record my vocals perfectly on beat they're off when I play it back? At first I thought it was me but it's not. I've had a few times in the past where it was PERFECT but other times, like now it's way off. How is it so inconsistant?! I've had better results with Audacity before in terms of just being on beat. I was using MME but anything lower than a 60 latency is jittery and horrible but even at 60 now it's off when before when i started it was at 200 and it was fine for a bit then it went off so i changed to 60 which fixed it and yet again it's off. I can't go any lower. I tried ASIO but that stupid thing doesn't have an output option so it's not very good for budget friendly set ups since I don't have a way to monitor audition and sometimes when tinkering with the device for ASIO etc it'll bluescreen my pc which is odd bc it
on a freshly install mac silicon ventura 13.6.3 and adobe audition 24.0.3- the splash screen freezes upon opening. Some time it works ok but majority it cant open. I have to force quit to get out and try to reopen it.
Hello, I would like to ask your help in regards of receiving a contact emai address where I can send a business collaboration proposal with Adobe for Adobe Audition.
Hope I have a simple question, I have a Multitrack Session with 7 tracks, I want to cut (CMD K) a single track, Track 3, and when I select that track in the session and do CMD K it cuts ALL the tracks at that time. What the heck? How can I just cut that single track? I can't figure this one basic step out. Help!
After going between formats, the bitrate in the export settings dialog defaults to 256kbps when the previous selection was 192kbps.
I have done everything to turn off auto playback and it turns back on as soon as I pause the session. I edit voice overs so I pause A LOT. and i have had entire sections of my audio deleted because I was trying to select while playing and it dragged my selection because of auto playback. Please tell me there is some way to permanently turn this off.
I made this mixtrack a while ago using synths I recorded directly in a synth app on my ipad. Whenever I cut the track, there is a clicking sound at the beginning of each new clip, for example in the photo, there is a clip around 1:31, 1:34, and 1:41. I made this almost a year ago, so rerecording is not an option. I am an amateur when it comes to sound editing, so I don't have an idea of why this is happening. Help? Thanks in advance!
Hi! When I'm editing af project I often have little clips I use often in the same project. It could be a part with clean sound or similar. Can I somehow put these clips in a clipboard or the like, so I can always just drag the clips from there instead of having to find a place in the project where the clip has been used, and then having to manually mark, copy and paste the clip to a new place? Best,Morten
I have several tracks playing in the Multitrack Editor with an Effects Rack comprising of EQ, Dynamics Processing, Auto-Tune, and Convolution Reverb. Playback as is appears to be fine. However, when trying choosing Mixdown Session To New File (Selected Clips) or Bounce To New Track will create a few artifacts in the new mixdown file. If I turn off the Effects Rack and do the mixdown, there are no artifacts. I tried clicking the Pre-render Track and it's the same option. The work around is to not use the Effects Rack but process each track with the desired effects permanently and then create the mixdown file again. Anyone know why this is happening? Is there a way to fix this bug so I can still Mixdown session with the Effects Rack in use?
I just bought an ASUS Tuf Gaming laptop and when I connect my mics to it, I get about 30 frames of recording & none of the sound seems to even being from the mic. I've tried it without mics, just the laptop mic. Same problem. 30 frames of audio and then nothing. Tested multiple cables, the connection setup is fine and I downloaded Audacity to test and that worked just fine. Only Audition thinks that it should record 30 seconds from the beyond instead of my VO. Anyone run into this problem? Oh, it's 32 gigs of ram, a terabyte of storage & a ryzen 7 7735. Any suggestions what else to try? Oh, I've already uninstalled and reinstalled Audition. Attached is a little snippet of the hot action.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I'm trying to figure out how to make an audio clip sound like it was recorded in the same environment as another. In the audio file attached, the first line of dialogue ("Susan, can you please stop talking?") was recorded on a more professional microphone. The second line ("I think my ears are gonna bleed.") was through a built-in computer mic in a small bedroom.I'm trying to make the first line of dialogue sound like it was recorded with the same equipment and environment as the second. I've been using various reverb and EQ effects in Audition to make the clips consistent with each other, but I can't get it right. I think I need more experience with reverb and EQ in general.Does anyone have advice on which effects to use or what would help make them sound more consistent? Any help would be appreciated!
Dear friends and developers: I do heavy-duty multitrack audio mixing. My company is forcing a switch from Vegas to Audition after 15 years with the former program. I'm looking for 3 functions that would make workflows much easier for everyone, even those who are native to Audition: 1. Currently, zooming in and out on audio requires Ctrl + Scroll Wheel. Why can't it just be the scroll wheel? Why the need to hold down Ctrl? On Vegas, you simply use the wheel to zoom in and out. Which I constantly do. Hoaving to hold down Ctrl AND use the wheel totally unneccesary. Please advise2. When in the "Timeline" tool, you can move around audio clips by right clicking/holding down the mouse. Why can't we do the more intuitive left click/hold? If that's possible to change, please point me to how I can make that switch. 3. In Vegas, I can "ripple" (move an audio clip) and either every clip to the right of that clip in a given track, or every clip to the right of that clip in a p
Why doesn't this exist yet? IPad Pro has plenty of power to run this. You'd think Adobe would want to get out in front on this.
I created a mutlitrack podcast and uploaded two separate audio files with a host interview track and a guest interview track. Each sounds great but when I listen to them as multitack I hear a horrible echo. HELP
I'm currently working on a multi-channel project in Adobe Audition that involves intricate angle panning. However, I've encountered a challenge when trying to rearrange audio files, as the pan settings are attached to the timeline rather than the audio. This makes it difficult to move clips around without disrupting the panning. Is there a way to lock the angle pan to an audio file or any other workaround that would allow for easier clip rearrangement without affecting the pan settings?
Hello, is there any way to change these dropped down menus match the dark mode theme? Also, the application menu bar (the white bar at the top) does not change along with system theme. Is this intentional by design? Thanks in advance for the help.
noise reduction process not wokring on a 1 hour long file I made the noise print, selected the whole file (or nothing), run the process, then i see the effects takes place at the beginning and gradually fades out to around 40 seconds. more and more of the process degrades over time resulting in no effect after a few seconds. The targetted noise frequences gradually reapear. There are some more topics that mention this problem, but i the bug is not fixed yethttps://community.adobe.com/t5/audition-discussions/audition-cc-noise-capture-noise-reduction-not-applied-to-entire-track/td-p/10066504
I'm desperate. In Audacity I can easily highlight a section of audio, hit the delete key, and it just takes out the highlighted part like it was never there, leaving the track as one track. In Audition I do the same thing and it takes out the highlighted audio and leaves me two pieces of audio with a gap in the middle. And while I'm here, I have two voices on a stereo track, left and right. I want to be able to edit those independently. There doesn't seem to be a way to do that in Audition. If there is I'd love to know how. Thanks!
So, my mix DOESN'T have any hiss, but when I export WITH ALL MY EFFECTS ON it adds a pretty distinct constant white noise throughout the song on the mp3 or wav. My question is... does this sound like an adobe glitch or maybe my processor can't handle all the effects so it's creating noise? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!
Hi everyone! I want to record a podcast interview with someone in another location who does not have a studio. I've read some tutorials but don't think I'm getting the gyst of it. I already have 2 podcasts, but only recording my voice. Could someone provide some details on how to do it while achieving the best sound quality? Thanks!
When I save my multi track session, some of the files are going out of sync.I am having to go back and nudge everything back to where it originally was placed. It looks like the audio has moved like 0.2 of a second within some of the files.I am going to go back and re-load Audition version 23.1Does anyone else have this issue ?
Hello!I'm using the Zoom LiveTrak L-8 with Audition on a new MacBook Pro. The driver is fully installed and the device class is CoreAudio (only option). When opened the mics read just fine under Default Stereo Input. However, I select Mono and tell Audition which channel input to record on each track individually and for some reason, every track does not want to read. I've gotten this to work before and can't figure out what's happening. What setting changed in Audition (or the mixer if you happen to know) that I need to set back to?Thanks for all your help Adobe Community!
When recording an audio file, all my playback is in mono. My Audio Channel Mapping notes my (L) output as mono and I don't know how to change this. A screenshot is attached. How do I get my playback in stereo? I've recorded for years and this all a sudden change is so frustrating!
Hello, i've been editing an audio file and I was randomly told by the program that I needed to save and restart due to playback issues. I had no other choice so I saved and restarted it. Now after opening it again my file has wave lengths but the spectral frequency display shows me nothing as well as the timer will run but the levels will not register.
