Dear Community!I hope this finds you well. I am reaching out to you regarding an issue I am facing as an Arabic teacher. I am currently using Adobe Audition to record audio books for my students. As you are aware, our students are classified into three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. In order to cater to the needs of each level, I require the ability to differentiate the audio recordings.Specifically, I need your support in providing me with the necessary steps to create pauses within the recordings and to slow down the pace of the audio to match the learning pace of the beginner students.I appreciate your prompt assistance in this matter.Regards,
Hi, why is the menu bar of Audition white instead of dark ?How can I make in black ? or at least hide it ?It is disturbing to have a bright light on a full dark screen. In fact it completely disables the advantage of dark mode. Regards
I've been using Audition for many years now. I use it all day, every day. And I consider myself to be VERY comfortable with the inner workings of Audition. How is it, almost EVERY time there's a "left side of the decimal" update, Audition loses all its preferences, keyboard shortcuts, effects presets etc.. And I get to spend the next several days trying to find and recover preferences. And yes, I checked the box to import preferences from the old version. You'd think after all this time Adobe would be able to figure this out and make it "idiot proof", because apparently I AM one. *Also, I've had three crashes since updating.
I have a handfull of outstanding bugs that I've reported over the last year (non solved) and one of them is that the Center Channel Extractor, used in a track of a multitrack session, won't save your custom settings. When you re-open your project, the settings to made are lost and it's back to defaults. So, I used Notepad++ to open the "Audition Log.txt" file and set Notepad++'s View->Monitoring on. This makes Notepad++ show any new lines that have been added to the file as they are added. Normally, when I open my project I have to go to each of 8 tracks to open the Center Channel Exctracter effect and then apply Presets that I've made with my custom changes. But as soon as I did that, I saw error logs generated. In fact, you can set the effect back to default settings and make any adjustment to any of the controls and cause the error messages to be generated, below is an example: Ticks = 2605016 <19556> <AdamEveAudioFilterEditorView
Minha última atualização trouxe duas versões: a beta e a 2024. Qual a diferença entre ambas?
Dear expert community members, I am facing a perplexing issue:— I am editing a podcast in Multitrack view,— I am adding an effect to a particular track in the effects rack (my current case: a noise gate from the "Dynamics ..." submenu),— I am changing a parameter (say, threshold from -20 to -30 db),— I am closing the effects dialog window to work on something else. I can now playback the track and everything works nicely. HOWEVER: When I return to the same effects setting, say because I want to tweak it, it returns to default *the moment I open the settings window* ("Dynamics ..." in this case). So I can only effect the settings one single time — as soon as I go back to the settings, they switch off (!) and default back to the company setting. Is anyone else experiencing this? And what can I do about it? On here, I have only found a single post from 2017 that deals with a similar issue, but it was resolved in ways that do not work for me. I have tried re-installing Audition,
Good day Adobe Community, Besides mixing meters, waveform, spectral frequency and plug-in readouts, does Audition have any general audio scopes? I am looking into ways to 'see' any type of audio changes, especially for effects. Some changes are so subtle in volume/effect (the less is more approach) they are difficult to percieve, even with flat frequency response openback over-the-ear headphones. Thank you for sheding some light on any discoverables.
Bearing in mind that AA does not directly support MIDI recording, is there a way to access and record Native Instruments sound sources via VST plugins or clever channel routing?
Eu sem querer apaguei o preset "Guitar Charmer" do efeito "Tube Modeled Compressor", há alguma forma de recuperar o preset? I accidentaly deleted a preset called "Guitar Charmer" from the effect "Tube Modeled Compressor", is there a way to recover the preset?
How can I search to find sound effects like this? The glitter sparkle sounds.
I tried to record an audio but the current time indicator just moved unsmoothly and didn't record anything. Watch the attached video
Every so often I get the error: "Target directory is not writable" - which kills my production workflow as I can't save my project. Now - I have read numerous advice about folder permissions, reinstalling Audition, resetting to default etc. none of which applicable to me.I get this error in a middle of a project, working with the same files, folders and clips, not after importing new files from new folders. So - when something is working fine and then it stops working without any reason or change to the process - it means the program corruption. My first question is why after so many years, Adobe still can't remove all the bugs from Audition? This is not a free program, but quite an expensive one and so certain quality standards are rightfully expected by the customers.Secondly - what is causing this error and how to fix it short of reinstalling Audition to default thus losing all my settings or restarting my PC? I have Windows 10, 64 bits. I'm not reporting
The Lock in Time function of clips on a track is extremely useful - except that it is unreliable. Why do clips which are locked keep moving without any clip length changes? This defeats the whole purpose of keeping them LOCKED IN TIME.Can anyone explain?this is yet another Audition unresolved bug. PS I would recommend expanding the list of the available tags or topics to select as these are extremely limited and don't cover the whole range of key tissues.
Hey guy, I have been trying to find a way to stretch the vowel sound of a word like for example, "Hey" into "Heeeeeeeeey", but i can't find any instruction on Youtube or any webpages. Recently, I have experimented with "Stretch and Pitch" tool, but it unfortunately results in echoing and disrupting line like "He-e-e-e-e-e-e-ey". Can you guys suggest a better solution to this problem? Thank you!
Annoyingly Audition automatically updated to the latest version yesterday and I can no longer save my keyboard shortcuts. I save them in the shortcut window and when I go to apply a shortcut using the assigned key, nothing happens. When I go back into the shortcut window, the shortcut has disappeared. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hi Everyone,I am BRAND new to Audition. I have a an audio file with some plosives in it. I checked Youtube on how to remove these. It showed using the FFT Filter. All of that makes sense, but, there is no way to apply the filter to my selection. Am I doing something wrong, or has Audition changed the way features work?I have included a screenshot of what I am experiencing.Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.Thank you, Matt
I am editing audio in Audition and the DeNoise effect has been an immense help, when I go to open it nothing happens. The editing window for that effect doesn't even open, it's not hidden on the screen anywhere either. Has anyone else had this issue?
The lag started when I downloaded Adobe 2024, it lags when I record and when I'm viewing an audio track. Any help?
Since I can't find anything about this, I'm not sure if anyone else has this issue with Audition. When I mix, I use bus tracks to combine multiple tracks into one, then keyframe the volume in the envelope tab. Here's the problem - when I increase the track height, the keyframe panel does not increase as much as the empty space above. Why is this necessary in a bus track? I'd rather be able to control the height of the graph on these tracks and have better control of the keyframes. Am I missing something or can this be a future feature?
Every time I utilize the auto duck feature in Audition in essential sound, it works great the first time around. However if I ever have to re-open that file, half of the tracks marked for ducking no longer do it. The tracks will play at full volume despite having the dotted line and all the settings marked correct. I end up having to adjust the duck amount in the essential sound to get it to kick back in. In addition, some of those tracks will simply not recognize the tracks they're ducking against. I have to go in and manually insert key frames across my file which completely defeats the purpose of the ducking.
being able to use a rectangle/marquee tool to select and remove keyframes in the track envelopes would be extremly helpful.
I have multi-track files created in Audition 3.0 and need to open them. Adobe Audition 2023 sent the following error message: Media Foundatkon reported an error when opening the file. The byte stream type of the given URL is unmsupported. Is there a way to open them?
I saved a file that I was working on last night in Adobe Audition, but when I went to open it this morning (going to File -> Open Recent) an error message popped up saying "Error: Media Foundation reported an error when opening the file. The byte stream type of the given URL is unsupported." It doesn't seem like it should be due to an older version of Adobe, because I was just working on the file yesterday. I'd appreciate any help/suggestions people would give. Thanks -- Jake
Hi there,I am new to digital audio and Audion, but I have successfully used it to shorten audio clipsto use in the videos I make. Now, however, Audition is failing to remix for time. If I wantto shorten a 3 minute song to 2 minutes, Audition just clips off the end of the song. I also noticethat the yellow "splice marks" no longer appear on the timeline of a shortened song. Any ideasas to what I am doing wrong?
Hello, I have recorded myself and I am able to reduce the background "wind", but my microphone has recorded little "booms" when I talk, and I can't isolate them. It's pretty unpleasant to listen. I have found tutorials to remove bird sounds for example but these low-pitched "booms" don't appear distinctly on the spectral frequency display. Do you have any solution ? Thanks
