Audition

I been looking high n low lol not sure if adobe have the option to put the tempo for the beat in or the key for the best. Any suggestions 

This is very strange. I was matching the loudness of the clips in a mutitrack project separately in the Match Loudness effects window, before the mix - when I noticed few issues:1. One clip's volume is definitely lower by about -2dB than the rest, and yet it is shown as having the same -16 dB loudness.   It sounds lower, it shows lower in the meter - but not in the effect's window.2. Any changes to the volume of any clip I make with the "envelope bar" (whatever it's called ) which have an immediate effect in playback, are NOT picked up by the Match Loudness effect.  Whether I push it up or down, the volume is read at the same level.3.  Those manual volume changes on selected clips however ARE picked up in the mixdown and reflected in the mixed file. What is going on here?... is this a glitch?.....I also noticed that when at times I also process my audio on Auphonic after matching loudness in Audition, it corrects it by about 0.45 dB (every time).Which one does

All my podcast recordings have always been in stereo and they always will, which is what I want. Unfortunately, Zoom has recently changed this without notice ( one of the many reasons I'm switching to another remote recording platform), and my two recent guest interviews were recorded in mono - which I only discovered when started editing in my Audition today. I believe that it is possible to convert a mono file to stereo in Audition, but the instructions I saw online talk about blocking and unblocking the "empty channel" - and the problem is that I don't have an empty channel in the audio waveform- there is just one channel.  However the sound comes through both the Left and Right channel in my headphones. I need to have my podcast in stereo, as it includes some clips that are in stereo (and need to be in stereo) - like music, and my standard intro and outro I simply add to each episode project. So now I've got two guest interviews recorded in mono which I need to

Can someone instruct me on what I am doing wrong because I install my auto tune unlimited bundle to my PC but when I try to scan the files so I can use the plug-ins in Adobe audition for some reason it seems like it doesn't read or pick up on the plug-inS 

I find myself in a situation where I have a collection of recordings made by various voice actors, and each of them used different microphones and studios. This has resulted in a variety of sound qualities and vocal tones that vary from one recording to another. The question I have is as follows: Are there techniques, programs, or plugins that allow me to standardize the sound of these recordings in a simple and automated way? The main reason behind this question is that I have a significant number of recordings to process, and individually adjusting each one would be a very laborious and time-consuming process. Therefore, I am looking for solutions that will enable me to achieve sonic consistency without the need for meticulous manual adjustments for each audio file. I appreciate any advice or recommendations you can offer to help me address this situation and make all these recordings sound uniform and of high quality. Adobe Audition v23.5 crashes on startup. Rolling back to a previous version didn't help. Reinstalling didn't help either. Today Audition suddenly stops starting and leaves .crash files on the desktop

Hello, I am a beginer, I have a multitrack session. When I want to edit a track (by double clicking on it), it takes me to the waveform editor. I make my edits on it, when I go back to the multipsite editor my audio changes have not been made. On my track I have a "Attention" sign Can you help me please?

Hi there, I have the latest adobe audition version. I use windows 11. When I start a new audio file (Ctrl+Shift+N). I confirm my selection of 16 bits and 44100 and file name and I get this error (the file name will be the default "untitled") The odd thing is that I can still record, after I hit okay to this, but it's appearing everytime I make a new file so it's kind of annoying. I have never seen this error before. Here is a single waveform of an entire project from Premiere Pro, consisting of multiple audio tracks: I've highlighted a couple of areas where the waveform has bias above the 0db line (it occurs in both left and right channels but I've just highlighted the left channel).I know there is a one-click solution to even out the waveform so that it looks more like the section between 3-10 minutes, but I don't remember what it is! Any pointers?TIA.

Howdy, I recently recorded a podcast with two people and two microphones. I tried my best to isolate them as much as possible but each microphone still picked up the other person a tiny bit. This leads to an echo when I mix the two tracks together. Is there anyway to extract the difference between the tracks or reconcile this episode in any way? I know people record with multiple microphones, so there has to be a way but I'm a total noob when it comes to this stuff.Cheers

Por asuntos universitarios tengo una cuenta de adobe institucional que parece que me esta causando problemas de espacio debido a que no puedo desinstalar versiones viejas de audition que me estan ocupando espacio de disco(parece que hay otros programas de adobe con este problema pero no he revizado todos los discos duros solo el central) cuando trato de desinstalar cualquiera de estas versiones creative cloud solo trata de desinstalar la version 2023, ¿alguien sabe como poder solucionar el problema? Adjunto imagen para referencia

Anyone know how to remove that kind of click?Audio from old video tape like minidv...dont know what that click are, maybe from camera tape but declick, denoise, no one filter recognize and cut it, no noise profile...need only to remove manually? 

I am using the most up-to-date version of Adobe Audition and the Rodecaster Pro II. I am using Window 11 and have ASIO installed. When I want to record in multitrack in Audition, with track 1 assigned to my main mic, track 2 assigned to anything else, lets say a second mic, and so on, anything from tracks 2, 3, etc. also records and registers on track 1. Track 1 only records/registers track 1 (a good thing). This was not an issue before. I have successfully recorded in multitrack on several occasions. I just spent an hour with Adobe Help and this could not be resolved. Any help would be appreciated! 

After exporting a multitrack session into an mp3 file, in Windows 11, this error appears:"The destination may be full or no longer available."I tried this on several computers running Windows 11, and every time this error appears.

When you bind 'Zoom in (time)' and  'Zoom out (time)' to up and down arrow keys in a Custom Layout, if you hold either down, it will instead switch to the default binding of selecting tracks once you are fully zoomed in or out.  This is extremely annoying when working in spectral view.

Not sure what could be causing it because I have plenty of room and can save things and WAV and such.   

did and update of Windows and possibly Adobe Cloud for Audition.  Now I get this.. .I reinstalled Audition and still does it randomly...seems to all work ok, but this pops up frequently.  and its annoying..  

I'm not sure the best way to decribe this problem but will give it a go. I've looked at all similar issues relating to not being able to record and haven't found one similar. I have a fresh install of Audition 23.6.0.61 on Windows 11. When I hit record, the recording time seems to be about a tenth of real time. That is (for example) in 10 seconds of me counting, I will see the counter jump sporadically from say 102ms, 205ms, 298ms, 385ms, 490ms, 560ms, 701ms, 814ms, 958ms. Upon hitting stop, I supposedly have about 1s of recording. I have no waveform visible other than some small dots that appear to be about 1ms long at each of these intervals. Effectively, the recorded track is useless.I have tried with a headset mic, internal mic, Rode NT-USB mic and all have the same result (tried in isolation with no other mics connected).I've rebooted the computer, reinstalled audition, run with no other apps open, checked microphone pemissions are enabled, checked audio hardware preferences

Hello, I upgraded from Echo Gal a bunch of years back to Audition 1.5.  When I replaced my old PC I copied all of the Audition files from my old PC but when I click on the Audition.exe file it says it's not installed.  I don't have the disk any longer, but I do have the serial number.txt file which contains the licensing information.  Is there  an installer (msi) file available for people that have the serial number, but need to reinstall the software?  I really don't want the new version, as I don't want to pay a monthly fee for software that I have already purchased.Thanks!

I am receiving an unspecified error (pic of message attached) after starting a new audio file. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Audition and the error is still there. I am uncertain what to look for. Thus far the only issue I've noted during use is that the data in the "Selection/View" pane is all zeroes and does not react to anything I do. Please advise.  

Summary:I record a weekly radio program in Adobe Audition on Windows 11, and my workflow uses Multitrack sessions where I import songs (MP3, WAV, or FLAC) and then record voiceovers and mix everything down.  I have a set of FLAC files from the Qobuz music service that will reliably crash Audition when imported into Multitrack - specifically, they create an error message and then Audition becomes unresponsive.  I'm not sure what's broken about the files; they play in Windows audio players reliably, and they pass the "flac -t" test command in Linux.  If I download the same song from Qobuz directly from the web site, they import into Audition just fine - so I believe something about how they're being encoded by the Qobuz Downloader is exposing a bug in Audition.If the files are malformed, I want to report a bug to Qobuz, but I also believe that a FLAC file should never be able to crash Audition, especially if it can be opened and played in other programs.
