I use Camera Raw and Photoshop and Bridge daily. I have the most recent versions of all 3 installed (24.4.1). Today I worked on about 6 photos and ACR behaved normally. Then I opened the next batch of 3 photos in ACR (from Bridge), made my adjustments, highlighted them and selected "OPEN", nothing happened. They would not open in PS.After trying dozens of different fixes, I finally discovered that they will open IF I don't use "Open in Camera Raw" from Bridge. If I use "Open..." - it opens in ACR and will then Open in Photoshop. I can use "Open With Photoshop" and that works as well. But suddenly "Open in Camera Raw" does indeed open in ACR, but will not Open in Photoshop from there. This happens with multiple files selected, or just one file. Something is weird with "Open in Camera Raw". This is disturbing. I tried disabling/enabling "Use Graphics Processor", I've closed and opened Photoshop and Bridge. I've restarted my computer. No luck. For now, I will use "OPEN" ins
When I double click a PSD file it opens. When I double click a TIF file it does not. running Bridge 13.03
After enjoying the work with a functioning Bridge Photo Downloader for a couple of years, we seem to be back to manual import, but only on Win 11. When I first inserted a SD card and chose the german command choice for "import files with Bridge 2023" I got a pop up saying "program not found". This pop up now shows up every time when a card is inserted, with no other choices presented. This only happens on my Win11 Laptop. On my Win10 PC everything works fine. I wonder how long it will take our friends from Adobe this time to fix it, and hope it won´t take as many years as it did last time.
This is a bug I've just started seeing in the last month or so. When renaming files in Bridge 13.03.693, using the control-click menu, files are displayed twice. F5 refreshes the view, but this was never needed in older versions. Mac Studio, M1 Max, MacOS 13.4.
When I try to use Image Processor from Bridge, I get a prompt that says I need to update to the latest version of Photoshop, but I already have the latest version. I've had to resort to mass exporting RAW files to JPEGs through ACR's download feature, which takes forever. Photoshop and Bridge seem to otherwise be working fine.
hej, is it possible in bridge to check if a tiff or psd file includes layers or alpha channels, without opening the file in PS? thank you, anders
Br v 13.03.693 Bridge thumbnails> Rt click > Open With still lists Photoshop 2022 but I no longer have it. I'm on 2023 v 24 How can I edit & remove it (& other apps I'd never use to open an image) from the RT Click context menu ? Thank youFrank
Im trying to open a folder in bridge containing 400 images, JPG 4500x3000 72ppi, so not heavy at all.For some reason the program is multiplying the thumbnails into hundreds of copies, of course making it impossible to use. It just keeps going, from 409 images to 47 000 while just writing this. Luckily its not duplicating the files though, everything is left untouched in finder.I am working from a server via ethernet cable and it has been working perfectly smooth with bridge CC until i updated it to 2020 just now. Version 10.0.2.131 Running on MacOS Mojave 10.14.3 Anyone else having this problem? (now it's up over 110 000 thumbnails)
The program will not open. See video. M1 Mac, 32GB Monterey.
Only a few images show thumbnails in folders in Bridge from my thumb drive. All images on my computer's hard drive display fine. I've tried resetting the preferences, purging the cache for the folders, increasing the thumnail cache max size, and restarting Bridge. Any other suggestions? I'm using Windows 11.
In Adobe Bridge CC, I am unable to drag and drop items from the Content panel into folders in order to reorganize my photos. It works fine for a while, then stops. If I shut down the program and restart, it will (sometimes, not always) work for a while, then stop again, so the only way to move files is:> File > Move > Choose folder > navigate to folder > confirm... versus the single fluid motion of drag and drop. Can someone please help? I would be very appreciative! Thank you!Pam
I've noticed that Adobe Bridge 2023 has a constant CPU usage, reported by the Activity Monitor between 100-300% (sometimes even more). Most of the time it's at 180%.That's in idle, so no images are being opened, selected, no folder is changed, all previews have been generated,... Meanwhile Photoshop uses well below 2% in idle. Does Bridge create an index in the background? If so - how can I turn that off?If Bridge always uses CPU ressources that will cause unnecessary battery drain and will slow down other applications for no reason at all. Again: this is in idle.
When you use the default "Bridge Search" mode from the search box in the upper-right corner of Bridge, it doesn't include non-indexed files by default. For me, that means that Bridge usually finds no file matches in the folders I'm searching in, because they're not indexed. (Usually network folders.) Could you please allow us to change the default behavior of Bridge Search mode to include non-indexed files by default?
In previous versions of Bridge, you could have adjustments made in ACR stored in a database versus individual XMP sidecar files. In the latest version of Bridge (13.03), it seems that no matter what preferences I've set, there is an XMP sidecar file created after adjusting Canon CR3 RAW files. Does anyone know of a way to have ACR changes saved to something other than individual sidecar files? Thanks. {Thread title updated by moderator}
Keywords exports from bridge are in regular text format editable in word or notpad. But keyword exported in photoshop elements are exported in XML format and not easely editable. And keywords exported in Lightrool Clasic are in ascii or UFT-8 format. None of them are interchangeable with the other applications. Why can't adobe be consistent be consistent with a Export/Inport format for all applications. The Bridhe format would be the simplest as it can be easily edited with a word or notpad app to make changes and then have a consistent Inport/Export format for all apps that adobe support Keywords entery. I keep my main Keyword file in Bridge and woul like to Export the file and Inport it in Photoshop elements and Lightroom Clasic; but can becaue of the different formt used by each app.Can adobe do somthing about this in future updates to their apps? Make the Inport/Export format the same for all apps.
Adobe Bridge lässt sich nicht öffnen obwohl neuste Version und aktualisiert!
Dear Experts, I am trying to batch trace all images inside Adobe Bridge using Adobe Illustrator script.I am able to batch trace and get .ai file output, but I want .svg instead. I have already created a custom preset in Adobe Illustrator for my needs. But tracing each image individually in Illustrator is a tedious process. Please help me to change or write new script which I can use in Adobe bridge or Adobe IllustratorThank YouSoans
I thought I was going crazy, but it turns on that on many occasions bridge 2023 does NOT delete a file (win10). It disappears in Bridge but it just remains in the folder, and becomes visible again after refresh or restart. If it can't delete for some reason it should give a messeage. Bridge is USELESS like this so AGAIN, back to Bridge 2018 (!!) which thankfully I have still installed. Adobe when will you get your things together and finally focus on key functionallity again?
Hi, I have trailcam that captures 100's of wildlife short video clips ( 20seconds ). I want a very fast video browser that will let me mark for reject as I browse by or even rate them on the fly. At the end I want to rating to stick so I can view with lightroom rating filter and also to delete all rejected. It currently takes me ages to view and then write down the reject file names so I can operate on them in explorer. Not slick atall.Video preview in LR is painfully slow. Can Bridge do this ?
Türkiyeden selam.Resimlere bakrken görüntü bulanık yada siyah açılıp kapanıyor.3 bilgisayarımda da bridgede aynı problem var.resimlerime bakarken teke tek sorunsuz açılmıyor.önizleme (gömülü en hızlı) yapıyorum yine sorun var.teşekkürederim
The settings open to nothing I've ever set up as a workspace and I end up having to reset all of them again to my preferences
If I Custome Export a jpg with Include Original Metadata set to "All", will Keywords be included?
As the title says...I am using a macbook air. M1 - 2020. Running Ventura 13.2 I've already tried purging my preferences, reshreshing previews, reinstalled both bridge and photoshop, nothing happens. This is the prompt I get when attempting to open a jpg, "could not open 'FILE' because a jpeg marker segment length is too short (the file may be truncated or incomplete)." The only current solution is to right click, open with preview, then the thumbnail generates and I am able to open in PS. I handle hundreds of files a day and this is not ideal. Both Bridge and PS are up to date according to Creative Cloud. I have found nothing online to solve this.
