Bridge

The shortcurt CMD + Down arrow no longer seems to work to open files in Bridge, is this an intended removal of function? The shortcut still works in Finder, I always assumed it was a universal OSX shortcut to open a file. I'm on the latest build 13.0.0.562MODERATOR EDIT: Question moved to Bridge Community for better direct communication.

Bonjour à tous.Après avoir testé la version 13 de Bridges, quelques aspects m'ont obligé à garder la version 12. Aussi bien sur Mac Intel que sur M1 pro, (ça tourne très vite !) :- dans la version 12, la fenètre principale permet d'accéder rapidement au finder/dossier des photos consultées, pour moi très pratique. Cela a diparu dans la version 13.- dans la version 12, l'affichage des aperçus raw NEF est instanté sur Intel et M1 (encore plus rapide sur M1 pro). La mise en cache est parfaite. Dans la version 13, j'ai observé des lenteurs et comme une absence de mise en cache (??), donc une consultation des previews .NEF assez lente et désagréable. Pour mon utilisation, la version 12 est pour l'instant meilleure que la version 13.   J'espère que ces anomalies, surtout le problème de cache, seront résolues dans les prochaines versions. Ceci-dit, la version 12 me suffit largement, que Rosetta fait tourner merveilleusement.  Merci la communautéMerci aux équipes

Some CR2 and CR3 files will open from Bridge, others will not. I have to open them by dragging to the 2023 PhotoShop app logo. Then when Done and back in Bridge, I can type in metadata but get this error message If I move the files to an external hard drive and select that hard drive in Bridge, I can add metadata that saves.In System Prefs have Bridge checked in Full Disk Access and in Files and Folders with Full Disk Access. Also read and write in Info  IN Bridge Preferences--Supports XMP is checked Why won't Bridge keep metadata when adding it to a RAW file on my working computer, when it will do so on an external hard drive. Bridge used to do so. 

I try to select several photos in Bridge via the mouse pointer, start from the bottom to just mark one column, but the selection does never reach the top tow "it just jumps" at the bottom and do not continue up to the top

Hi,is there a way how i could add some text to an existing meta data title of several files?I have hundreds of files with meta data titles as "red - ", "green - ", "big - ", "new - " already set as title and i like to add some text to the end of the title. Is it possible to only add some words instead of deleting the titles just named. The final result should look like this:file 1 title: "red - house"file 2 title: "green - house"file 3 title: "big - house"file 4 title: "new - house"or if I like to change the word it could look like this:file 1 title: "red - building"file 2 title: "green - building"file 3 title: "big - building"file 4 title: "new - building"or like this:file 1 title: "red - special pencils"file 2 title: "green - special pencils"file 3 title: "big - special pencils"file 4 title: "new - special pencils"Thanks a lot for your help.Daniel

Is there any script that watches a folder and converts the raw files to jpg's. I have gone through multiple posts but cant seem to find anything like this. Any script/plugin that can do this will be helpful.

Upgraded Bridge to version 2022 and now Bridge does not open memory card. 

I just updated to the latest Beta version of Bridge, hoping that this version will solve the flickering problem. Please note that most of the time the flickering is gone, but sometimes when I select Preview with the Space Bar, I will get one flicker on some images. However, I am also noticing that the Preveiew images are cropped. Has anyone else noticed the same probelem? I've attached the thumbnail view and preview view. I'm using an Apple Mac Studio, and Monterey OS. Thanks. Jim

Why can there be such a problem with color labels? I added custom names to some of them, and after that all labels became white in the filter column, and the names did not change. At the same time, the changes were applied in the settings. I work on MacOS Ventura 13.1

Hope this makes sense. Navigating through a folder of images in full screen preview I noticed when you tap space bar to get back to bridge two files are selected. The image you initially pressed space bar to enter full screen preview as well as the last file you viewed in this mode.  Pressing command O to open a file in full screen preview opens the file you are cutternly viewing. If you press command O after you've left full screen preview opens both files. I'm assuming this is a bug but if it's a feature not sure why. Tried it on desktop work computer as well as a seperate laptop.

rating options not properly working in adobe bridge while using bridge 2013 

This is a follow up post where the latest version of Bridge still has not addressed the basic info keyword fields.  As reported on the original launch, the field is forever long.  It does not adjust to fit a standard layout like when you do a file, file info within Photoshop.  I have attached a screen grab of what the fields look like when right clicking on an image within bridge and then clicking file info.  I do this a lot as I am working in the stock photo industry and often update my keywords and descriptions without having to open an image to do it.  The other screen grab is when I do a file, file info within Photoshop. That's how it's supposed to look and be formatted when right clicking within Bridge. Interestingly, this does not happen on my Macbook Pro, but it does on my Imac.  I've also attached my Imac system info.  Either way, you can see the clear difference between "bridge file info" and "the way it should be".  I have to keep

I recently updated my version of Dropbox and now Adobe Bridge will no longer display the images I have in my Dropbox folder.  Whem I click on the Dropbox folder in Bridge it gives me a 'No items to display' error.  I know my Dropbox folder has items in it.  And it is syncing just fine.  Bridge simply won't preview the items the way it did before the DB update.  I've been working on this for hours and it is driving me insane. PLEASE HELP!

Hi there, re.: Adobe Bridge compatibility with PC Server via SMB connection from MAC. Any IT folk out there familiar with Adobe Bridge running in a Mac based office (40+ people) across an AFP server connection to a mac server?  If so, you know that we're in trouble as Mac is no longer making servers. I'm hoping to find articles or people experienced in using a patch to allow Bridge to function across an SMB connection to a PC server to view my image bank from my Mac. Thank you,  ~ iMac19,1; 8-Core Intel Core i9 ; 3.6 GHz .  MAC 0S Monterey 12.5.1   

This is happening repeatedly.When Photoshop has been opened from Bridge and is shut down - typically after some editing and saving of an image - Photoshop can't be run again by double-clicking a thumbnail in Bridge. The working wheel lights up for a second, but nothing furher happens.When Task Manager is run, Photoshop can be seen running busy under Bridge - as shown in the attachment.When the busy Photoshop task is ended, Photoshop can be run again from Bridge.Why is Photoshop not freed and put to sleep when shut down on the (x) symbol?Best,Eigil Skovgaard

One month ago I bought a Canon R5, now new memory cards and new .cr3 files. Both cards are visible in Finder and Bridge, but the Photo Downloader in Bridge does not work properly. CFexpress card is not visible at all, but the SDXC card is visible even twice (EOS_Digital#1 and EOS_Digital#2 - both work). Enabling Adobe Bridge in the Full Disk Access section and new updates 2021 did not help.

Hi,  I have just purchased a new iMac with M1 chip. I have installed bridge and whenever I open it I get the attached error message. This makes it so slow it is unusable as it is not GPU rendering. My Mac is totally up to date with Ventura 13.1. I have searched the forums but found no solution to this issue. Can anybody help? I can't find any contact numbers for Adobe which aren't about billing.  Thanks in advance. 

As soon as I start a simple little "save to jpeg" workflow, it gives med "1 error files" and when I open that row I get Reason: Destination Cannot Write and Task: Preprocessing. No files are saved/converted. I have run workflows before. I have turned off Ransomeware Protection in Windows. No luck. I'm running Bridge 2023. I have write access to the folder, I usually choose to create a subfolder from the original location.Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm getting old, cranky, and set in my ways. I don't have time to learn a new workflow. Adobe, why do you hate me? In the past, the changes have been helpful and improved my workflow. For some reason, though, many of the 2023 changes are making me miserable and costing me time in re-learning what used to be simple tasks. Is it really just that I'm getting old, or do others also feel this? I'm guessing probably both, but still, please stop hating me, Adobe. 

adobe bridge bringt auf einemal die fehlermeldung:camera raw bearbeitung nicht aktiviert. camera raw bearbeitung ist nur möglich wenn ein berechtigtes produkt zuvor lizenziert wurde.Ich arbeite seit Jahren so, und diese Meldung kam wie aus dem Nichts. Hi. When I zoom photo 100% on screen in Bridge, the pic will blinking. Whats happen?

In Bridge 2023 There is a major annoying change ..  The Move to Trash   that has existed forever on a Mac is now "Move to Bin" This was an unnecessary change and should be fixed back to Move to Trash  In the older Move to Trash the confirmation message also included the number of files being trashed. That count is no longer there.It should be fixed.This guards against trashing multiple files when only one or a small number were intended  Adobe PLEASE fix this
