First of all I understand what I'm doing being a Programmer and I went through all the setting and post online talking about this issue. All Jpegs, gifs and so on are showing the thumbnail correctly however all my pngs aren't showing any thumbnails nor the image on the right when I click on it. I am using Irfan view as the way to open all my pngs and jpegs. These images are not in some protected folder and many of the images are very small. I also didn't touch any settings in Edit>Preferences> Cache/ Cahce Management/ Thumbnails.

I have Win 10 GPO's  that restrict access to the C drive. However, when Bridge is installed users can see the entire contents of the C drive. How can this be prevented?

Does dragging a photo from Adobe Bridge and dropping it into InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. decrease the quality of an image?

I believe the issue may be related to mapped network drives that are not connected. However, the new bridge (with floating windows) is unusable for me. It sometimes takes 3-4 restarts to get it to work, and I have to wait for about a minute or more before I can interact with the program because it freezes. (The network drives in my favorites are always connected, and they are treated as local drives.)  

I want to export some files:--project----preview----psdthis is my folder structure, I want to export my psd files inside the preview folder while the project folder name is changing between different projects:in MacOS writing "../preview" in "Save to subfolder named" works wellin Windows, it gives to me an error: "Directory creation faild" (i'm using "..\Preview") how can I resolve this issue?Thanks!

Since installing Sonoma, i've had a few bridge issues...one was solved with the tip here to turn off some of the scripts (thank you) but now i'm finding that Bridge always opens to a folder i rarely use -- i THINK it used to open to the last folder viewed. is there a setting for this? thanks, Tom O'Connell

How do I turn off the magnifier in Bridge. It used to vannish with a click inside the magnifier. That no longer works.Adobe Bridge 13.0.3.693Thanks!

I can only add one keyword to an image.  If I try adding another keyword, the original keyword is automatically deleted.  I have the latest verison of Bridge.  Any suggestions?

bridge needs the slightest one click to start to open images i'm just trying to select to preview, to compare and i can tell you that makes the day SSUUUUUUUPPPPPPEERRRRRRRRRRRRRR frustrating. instead of 5 seconds selecting 2 images to see them next to each other in preview and be happy... i open the images by mistake, i have to close the images, i have to select the images AGAIN of course, i fear AGAIN of course that they will open AGAIN.... :))) adobe.. please... i wanna sell everything and go live in the woods imac late 2015, OS Monterey, Wacom Intuos, latest photoshop and bridge installed. what ever is the latest, i install the latest so.. the latest as of today :))

I have scanned in a couple hundred slides from our family.  I scanned them at 3200 dpi and saved as a tiff file.  The actual size of the images when I open them are about 1" x 2".  I do need to clean them up and adjust color, etc... but I also want to share them with others.  I'd like to make a larger image and smaller file size for others to have.  My thought is to size the image and save as a jpeg in photoshop at 300 dpi.  Is there a better option to do this or better format (i.e., PDF)?

Hey there! I'm just dropping this message here to highlight some of the bugs i've spotted in Bridge ever since I updated to 2023. I thought some of then had been fixed in the lastest version, but as a heavy user of this software I keep comming across the similar issues again. * I have a Macbook Pro 2021, M1 with 32 GB RAM, runnning Monterrey 12.5.1 - Ever since I have Photoshop Beta running alonside Photoshop 23, Bridge won't recognize all of the suddenly neither of them as a script in the Tools menu. I used this often to run actions in PS as a Batch or just to use the image processor. I've tried, following instruccions i've found within the adobe community to reset the scripts in preferences, but in my experience it didn't work. I've only managed this by deleting PS Beta and reinstalling from scratch Bridge and PS (with the inconvenient of having to reconfigure PS again to my daily use needs). - Batch rename will crash often, speciallty when using the String Substi

In Bridge 2022 and before, I could select an item, holding SHIFT and press END - and the view jumped to the end of the list/grid.In Bridge 2024 this doesn't work anymore. Pressing END without any other key - it still works. But selecting and item and then want to select all items till the last one and therefore pressing END (while holding SHIFT to not loose the selected first item) nothing happens. This is a well established and trained behaviour in many list based systems like the Windows Explorer, Editors, whatever. Select the first item, holding SHIFT, pressing END - the list to the end is selected.Please fix this bug in Bridge 2024.

Because I needed to use Encore I have had to install Adobe premier CS6 (alongside Premier CC 2018)  - this also installs Bridge CS6 (no option not to install it). Because of this the windows context menu now says "Browse in Bridge CS6" not "Browse in Bridge CC 2018" and it opens bridge CS6 not bridge CC 2018.I have uninstalled Premier CS6 (leaving Encore still installed) but there is no option to uninstall Bridge CS6.How do I a) uninstall Bridge CS6 and/or b) reset the windows context menu so that is offers "Browse in Bridge CC 2018" (and opens bridge CC 2018).  An option I frequently use.ThanksIan.

I have a batch of images that once edited through Bridge, have an orientation inconsistent with the rest of the images in that batch.If i try to edit the meta data, I can see that the XIF data is inconsistent, but cnat find where to edit it?Adobe Bridge 2023 on PC and Mac has the same issue.

Hi! I use Adobe Bridge for adding metadata and renaming the images in my gallery after I've exported them from Lightroom and optimized them in JPEG Mini. Very often, but not always, the images are in an entirely different order after doing so.  How does this happen and what can I do to prevent it? Thanks!

Beim Filmstreifen zeigt Lightroom Classic seit einiger Zeit nur noch eine Reihe Miniaturen, darunter sind leere Kästchen. Man muss seitwärts scorllen, um die weiteten Bilder zu sehen.Wahrscheinlich habe ich versehenlich/unbewusst irgendeine Einstellung geändert, weiß aber leider nicht, wo im Menü. Hi, I am having trouble creating contact sheets from images selected in Bridge. Contact Sheet II menu opens but shows no images selected in Bridge when they clearly are. Other automation functions seem to be suffering from the same problem. Bridge slected images are notbeing detected. My account shows i am using current updated versions of both Photoshop and Bridge. Any insight much apprecaited!

Adobe Bridge 14.0.0.102 Hallo,ich möchte in einem Workflow das Seitenverhältnis eines Bildes ändern.Das Originalbild ist 3000x2000 px groß. Dieses soll auf 2400x1800 px verkleinert/beschnitten werden.Im Workflow habe ich bei "Größe ändern in" "Füllen" ausgewählt, bei Breite "2400 Pixel" und bei Höhe "1800 Pixel" eingetragen. (Screenshot 1)Das Vorschaubild sieht leer aus. (Screenshot 2)In Photoshop besteht die Datei nur aus einem 1 Pixel breiten senkrechten Strich. (Screenshoot 3)Das selbe Ergebnis habe ich auch, bei gleichen Einstellungen, beim Exportieren.Was kann ich tun?
