Hey Guys! I hope someone can help me with this one because it turns out to be a Major Bug which really destroys a VERY important workflow for me. In Bridge i used to Rename Images by Clicking in the Filename, Rename it wit a unique Number THEN pressing TAB, so it would skip to the next Filename which was already highlighted, so i could type in the next unique Number. Now this won't work anymore, downgrading to an older version of Bridge doesn't help, the problem stays. It happens randomly and right now i'm not able to reproduce the error. (added a screenshot anyways)It appears that the interface displays the next number in a complete wrong place, and then eventually it will happen that the next Filename isn't highlighted anymore - thats the biggest problem. I have to highlight it again manually, which is a nightmare, because i have to rename about 2000 Images with unique numbers. Does anyone know anything about that? Thank you so much! christian
Now I need to compare folders. jump from one folder to other in a screen.and to folder to folder on second screen. But even I was able to "dedock" a content tab to browse files, it suck that they share the preview and folder pane. That makes so painful to work. basically I need to compare files.Adobe team could learn something from old software "ACEDESEE", that had a visual replacement file pop up.I loved when you could make 2 brodge windows and work EASILY;(
Just downloaded Bridge to my Mac running Ventura. All my images are on a seperate HDD so I set up bridge to search within the correct folder (and subfolders) on that drive. If I conduct a search for a specific keyword (which I know is there) Bridge fails to find the images with that keyword stating 'No iems to display'.I'm finding this very frustrating as have tried various DAM applications and none of them have achieved what I wanted so Bridge was my last hope.
All current versions of Bridge, 2022, 2023, Beta won't open photos with jpeg extension. Windows 11 has no problem seeing them. Have to open in Paint and convert them to jpg, before they can be opened by Bridge or PS
Every day I'm using the “tools” menu in Bridge with scripts I made in photoshop, so as to batch process my images, but I can't find it anymore... what's the problem ? No more “photoshop” writen in the tools menu !?
If a Mac finder window can show the file size with pixel dimensions, why is the Bridge finder missing this key data?In Bridge, this data can be found within the raw image data. e.g., :<exif:PixelXDimension>1444</exif:PixelXDimension><exif:PixelYDimension>1633</exif:PixelYDimension>For the above example, the finder window on a Mac displays 1444x1633.So, I would like to see this data displayed in Bridge when looking at the list view of the Content window in Bridge. Or at least somewhere other than pulling up the Raw Data on an image.Am I missing something? I can't easily find this info using Bridge. It seems odd that Bridge can scale an image using it's original dimensions, but can't tell me what the original dimension is at a glance. At least display some guess at dimensions. Sorting by dimensions doesn't cut it for me either. I like to see what we're talking about within my image folders.
Bonjour à la communauté, La construction des aperçu haute qualité est bonne sous Bridge 2022 mais pas sur Bridge 2023. Voici ma configuration :Voici mes réglages Bridge 2022 : Voici les réglages Bridge 2023 :
My bridge has today lost all colour and star ratings wich means I have lost hours of work. New and old jobs are all ratings gone and know I just notice that even the edits on pictures I edit thia morning in camera raw are completly gone? What has happend??
I've posted this before but got no answers. I'm trying again. In bridge some of my video thumbnails show some don't, I don't understand why this is happening.Below is an image of what should be the thumbnails but there is only one showing. I can see on that file name that there is an .LS. between the filename and the mp4.I make a lot of videos with my camera and I use them a lot in my work. So I would really like to understand what it is that is causing this issue.I've done the following, cleared the thumbnail cachecleared the thumnail cache and resetChanged the default video programme from VLC to windows media.uninstalled and reinstalled bridgeI can see thumbnails in explorer so they can be generated, i just can't see them in bridge. This is so infuriating. ThanksI'm at a loss to understand what is going on, this is really important for me to get this fixed.
Hello I am on the latest released version of BR on Mac OSX Ventura 13.4 (22F66). I experience that the memory usage is way off if I keep BR open for more than 8-10 hrs. It uses 1.3 GB memory or more and goes nonresponsive and I have to "force quit" it. Would love a fix for this, since I use BR a lot for choosing content for my projects during the day. In case anybody is interested, I can provide more info, screenshots, crash reports, etc. Thanks.
Just to say thanks for adding keyboard shortcuts. For me one of the best additions in +10 years of using Bridge. The panel looks nice and feature rich. Seemingly there are even ways to assign shortcuts to individual panels, very nice! And one may now assign the standard browser hotkey (Ctrl /CMD + T) for content-tabs.Ignore the Tag "Feature Request" – I needed to add a tag. Otherwise the forum software would not let me post.
HI Everyone,I was following a tutorial that was walking through the steps to import multiple photoshop files as layers in a new photoshop file. The tutorial shows that you should be able to go to Tools in Bridge and there should be a photoshop option with a bunch of sub options. See image below:However when I go to the Tools menu I see this :Where did the missing options go and how to I access them? I am using Bridge cc 8.1.0.383 on a mac running High Sierra
Bridge 13.0.4.755, Metadata, Creator and Copyright Owner fields not populating from Template.I checked the template and it contains that information.
Je ne retrouve plus les métadonnées concernant mon appareil photo/ ISO/OUVERTURE/ VITESSE/OBJECTIF/.
I am using Bridge 13. My cache \ database is on the OS SSD (C:). But all my photos are on a hard drive (D:). The HD is at 90-100% when indexing, so I want to speed things up by moving the photos to an SSD (E:). I believe that labels, rating etc. are in metadata and will not be affected. But is there a shortcut or way to avoid having to recreate all my collections?Sean
Hello, I have been having massive problems with the stability of Bridge in conjunction with Camera Raw and Photoshop for months. I have decided for this reason to finish with my old Mac Book Pro (2018) and buy a new Mac Book Pro, now have one with a M2 Max processor, Mac OS Ventura.I have completely new installed the operating system and the first thing I did was install Adobe CC. Before any other software got on the computer. Unfortunately the same problems have reappeared, I have described them here in order of occurrence:1. installing Bridge 13.0.3, PS 24.6 : when opening Canon Raw data and double clicking on the raw files Bridge freezes. Workaround: drag data directly into Photoshop. Then I can open them and work in Camera Raw.Bridge also freezes when I copy the development settings and paste on multiple files directly in Bridge2. Then I decided to downgrade to Bridge 12.0.4, PS remains the same. Here the doubleclick on the raw data works mostly, also "CMD + R".However, Bridge cras
I have the latest v of Bridge, latest video drivers and heaps of space and RAM.Bridge now crashes to desktop every time I use it. Simply opening a picture file RAW or .jpg and it opens in Photoshop but freezes with a cryptic "Bridge has encountered a problem and needs to close" message. In the last few days, a message has appeared along the liines of "Adobe has a solution or workaround.... Click here for details" and the link doesn't work!I have disabled scripts and cleared the cache. Same outcome. Now virtually unusable.
I was using CC Bridge 2017 with the Output plugin to export multiple assets as a PDF for pin-ups and the exports looked perfectly fine both digitally and print.I now have upgraded to a new Mac and the latest update of CC so all my softwares are the 2019 version. Bridge now will not export in the resolution that's on screen. I matched my output settings (image quality: 100%, resolution: 300 ppi) as the previous version of Bridge that I was using (2017) and the difference in quality is very noticeable. The newer version exports the PDFs as a very low resolution file and I've tried reformatting all my settings, cache, etc. Since I use Bridge to export multiple files at once for reviews, can anyone share if they had this issue and how they were able to fix it? Thanks.
HiCannot load bridge on Robo and Cala 2 in 1 ARM architecture laptop.it is running windows 11no bridge, photoshop crashes frequently.wont load Dye sublimation photo printer drivers either.only loads Wi-Fi printing apps.I am not computer fluent, do I need to prepare something unique, or is ARM not ready to be called windows 11 device ?thank you
1. Am I to assume that the Batch>Image Process is no lnger availble on Bridge 2022? I can't find it anywhere. It toatlly messes up my processing. 2. In searching for this, I found Workflow. I figured out how to set up a workflow and it worked fine. But I wanted to change one parameter but I couldn't edit it! There is no optoin to do that. Not even the menu's little pencil worked. 3. So, I created a new one, but it would not let me add ANY parameters! A tiny gray "menu" popped up but I couldn't click on it! This is frustrating! (see screen shots) Can someone direct me to a tutorial or instrucitons that make sense? Thanks in advance!
Hi! Bridge is building up huge Cache folders in C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge\Cache is there anyway to change that folder? I already have another folder set on Bridge but it keeps filling my drive in the mentioned folder... and It never automatically deletes, I have to manually go to that folder and delete the cache
Why is there so much free space at the end of the keywords list (panel)?Looks like 6 or 7 "empty" keywords. Its annoying scrolling down to fast and "blind" select/click the last keyword in the list and then the list keeps scrolling. Version: 13.0.4.755 Windows 11
In the current 2023 Bridge version the mouse wheel based scrolling in the keyword panel is much slower than in the 2022 version or before. Same mouse, same OS (Win11), all the same. Scrolling in 2022 reaches the end of the list much faster than in 2023 version - using the "same amount" of scrolling with the wheel.
A few days ago, Bridge was working fine. Now it's showing nothing, not a single file, folder, nothing. I've purged the cache, I've restarted the computer, I've tried some tips that talk about system prefences, I've tried the Ctrl+Alt+Shift trick (nothing happens at all when I do that) and nothing is working.
