Question

Please add back the New Window command to Adobe Bridge

Bridge 13.0.1.583 has removed the ability to have 2 bridge windows open.  Please add this feature back.

I understand that Adobe has added tabs to Bridge windows; which I'm sure is great for some people.  But the tabs don't let you browse 2 folders side by side to visually compare them.  So please keep the tabs, but also allow users to press Command N or to right click and ask for a folder to be opened in a new Bridge Window too.

Thank you.

Agreed. The removal of the ability to have seperate windows (not tabs) is completely stupid and makes me just want to use the finder now. I need to be able to have seperate full-feaured windows open and not just pull out a content tab to seperate it. Major fail here for one of the most basic fetaures of a file browser.

I myself do not use the new window feature but you can undock the content tabs. Then you can move them around and put them side-by-side. I can even move files from one tab to another. Maybe this could be a workaround?

I don't see another place to add to this comment, so hope it's okay here. I ABSOLUTELY  go along with this request. For years, I've relied on the New Window option to have another Bridge window open. I've tried the New Content tab and find it very unsatisfactory for effectively moving around and comparing files and images. Come on Adobe, don't remove options that make use of your products more convenient.
