  goodmorning community,I've installed and tested utility script pack on Adobe Bridge (macOS).My goal is to tag INDD and PDF documents, adding keywords metadata to a lot of files.This is the keyords structure I want to apply:       After applying keywords I want to create a document with a list of all files and the specific keyword applied.To do this I've installed utility script pack on my Adobe Bridge (macos) and run Folder List Export script.It seems this script always export every single keyword and also hierarchical structure. It would be great if the folders in Bridge could have custom icons like folders in Finder on Mac so that they could be selected visually instead of just by name. When I work on a project that has several variations of each of several images, I organize the variations into folders. Then I have to think up descriptive names that are not too long for each folder that will quickly remind me what is inside. If I could paste a picture on the cover of each folder, then I could use simpler folder titles, and tell at a glance which series is inside.

Hello, To which online cloud storages is Adobe Bridge linked?I can't preview my online Dropbox files with Bridge and I don't wish to copy my files on my computer as this will slow him down. I currently use 250 Go on Dropbox. I would like to merge my Dropbox files to another online storage platform but which one to use? Google Drive? Creative Cloud (seems very expensive for storage purposes)? Any suggestions welcome. Thank you very much

Can someone write a script that goes through all folders in Bridge and Purges the Cache for each one of them? The Purge command in Preferences does not work; period. It appears to clear the thumbnails, but NOT the fields that appear under each thumbnail in the Content panel. Only the Purge the Cache for 'foldername' in the Tools menu does the job. As someone who can't script my way out of a paper bag, I'm wondering whether it's possible to write a script to go executing that command folder by folder, including all subfolders.. Any and all input is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Hello, there.I'm working in a script to convert some files. While converting, those files are loosing the metadata. So, I export the metadata from the original file, convert, import the metadata to the new file and then Bridge is stopping with the message below:"Unable to multiply transform. GDI Status: "InvalidParameter".I really don't know what about this message is. If I manually go to Tools > Cache > Purge Cache for Folder...The error is shown one more time and the folder is "restored". I mean restored because if I don't manually purge the cache, Bridge can't "read" this folder anymore (but in Windows Explorer the folder is OK and the all files are there). Both original, the converted one and the txt file where I stored the metadata temporarily. Any help on how I can purge the cache, like manually described, will be much appreciated.I tried the ManageCache from the Adobe Documentation, but the object doesn't have a constructor. MY MAIN GOAL: convert files

Hello,I would like to quickly review mp4 video files und rate them with stars. For some reason Bridge stopped to update these meta data changes to the files. This means the star rating does not show up in the explorer or file meta data outside of adobe. Is there anything I can do about this?Thank you in advance!

Hi all, I am looking for a script to copy filename to keyword in Bridge. So far I have found this which runs well for title (http://kasyan.ho.ua/bridge/add_filename_to_description-title.html) but I really need the copy to be in the keyword field. I have been using adobe/bridge for over 15 years. Over the years I have seen it get progressively slower and slower when trying to scroll through thumbnails of smart collections to the point it is no longer pracital or usefull and is now more of an impedemant. Despite upgraging my PC every few years (currently running an amd 16core threadripper with nvme m.2 ssd), bridge gets slower year by year. It dosen't matter WHAT is tried, (I have tried it all) from purching the cache, to changing the thumbnail settings. Currently, for a few thousand images found in a smart catalog, each page of thumbnails takes a second to load which when you have 100s of pages to scroll through is impractical.  I remember in years past scrolling through the thumbnails was a fluid real-time scroll effect. It seems as though the underlying Bridge engine is just inherently bloatware and it needs a fundamental overhaul like adobe did to Illustrator years back.  Will this ever happen? Mouse stutters and lag badly when intially opening RAW files in this version of ACR. Just started in the past few days after updating. Severe effect on workflow. Issue does not happen if opening ACR from within PS (using the Filter>ACR menu)  to work on an already open document, only when I first open a RAW file. I don't use the adobe downloader. Recently Bridge has started up whenever I insert a memory card.How do I disable this behaviour?Older posts suggest that there is a preference in Bridge to change this but I cannot see it now (Bridge - Preferences - General).I use Downloader Pro. thanks Paul

Using iMac M1 chip with Ventura 13.2.1 OS. The downloader opens when inserting a memory card, but the "Get Photos from:" show <Non Detected>  I tried several different SD cards and I get the same result. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a solution?

Bridge and Bridge Beta crash upon install. Problem started suddenly today. Using a Mac desktop, 32G RAM.

Help dear community, my Bridge all of a sudden uses huge amounts of CPU when starting and it takes a lot of time to open a RAW File in Camera Raw let alone using the stamp tools. Never had these problems before, I am absolutely unable to work fluently and my Macbook Pro (i9, 32GB, 15,4'' 2019) is heating up crazy. I deinstalled updated Adobe programms and used older versions, deleted the caches, nothing helped so far. Thanks for reading.

Hello, my problem is this: I wanted to extract from my archive the images classified with more than 3 stars. I created a library and then set a filter not to include all folders in the archive. I then set up an export. The problem is that Bridge changed the number of rating stars in the selected images to 5 stars. Do I have to reclassify the entire archive? A big nuisance. Did I do something wrong? Can I recover? Thank you

I created a "test" folder with a single   "test.tga".   Hit Ctrl+F and set filename>contains> test   criteria in this "test" folder.Got  "no item to display"It finds nothing .What have I done wrong?   I have this weird issue  very regularly  for years alredy and on different computers.  Never figured out what's wrong.  Could somebody help please.   It's basically a single purpose  I use Bridge for. To quickly find  pictures.  For some uncertain reason  it works in  many folders just fine  but sometimes  is not working at all.  

I shoot a lot of Arthropods, research to find out what they are and add genus or species to the description.  Coming back later to process, I found that a number have (Multiple values) in the description.  This normally occurs when more than one image are selected and have different values, but this is happening with single selection.  I called Adobe tech for help and he told me it is because there is no description, never was.  I said no, then it would be blank. I really got nowhere, as he attributed the problem to me and not to Bridge, saying there never was data there. I then showed him a page where I had extracted the metadata of over a thousand recent shots and correlating the number showed the metadata, INCLUDING THE DESCRIPTION, that had been there.  So finally he admitted he was clueless and said he would take it to a higher level to developers.  Meanwhile, after all the time I spent to get the right names, I either have to research again, as

Please switch out the integerized scrolling in Bridge, which only lets you scroll in disjointed whole-photo jerks, for the smooth scrolling every other app allows.  It's actually hard to understand the scrolling that's happening when I scroll in Bridge because of this integerized, jerky scroling that Bridge enforces.   It would be much easier on the user if the scrolling was smooth just like all other scrolling experiences (at least in MacOS and Photoshop)

What happened to being able to click on the images name, and then clicking on it again for it to highlight and be able to be renamed? Is this a glitch? Is there a keyboard shortcut that could be used instead?

Ich habe heute meinen gecrshten PC neu aufgebaut und alle notwendigen ASdobe-Programme neue installiert. Auch Bridge 11.0.0.83. Alle darüber iomportierten und mit dem RAW Converter bearbeiteten Bild-Dateien sind kontrastarm, flau und mit einem Grauschleier überzogen.Ich dachte schon, es liegt am Montitor. Aber der gibt Bilddateien in anderen Programmen wesentlich besser und klarer wieder.Es wirkt wie ein Grundeinstellungs-Fehler, nach dem das Programm die Bilddateien beim Importieren falsch bearbeitet und z.B. in einen anderen Farbraum konvertiert. Woran kann das liegen?Oder ist die Bridge-Version gar nicht mit Windows 10 Kompatibel und ich brauche eiune alte Bridge-Version?Wer kann bitte (auf Deutsch) helfen?Dank & GrußChristoph Honig

I frequently use Bridge to edit the meta data stored in an image file.  Most of the time it seems to work as expected, but occassionally the text Copy operation fails to put the selected characters on the clipboard (or where ever Bridge stores copied text.)  Then when I do a paste to a different field in the meta data I get text that is not what I had just copied.  I'm using ctrl C and ctrl V to copy and paste. I'm generally editing the meta data on .jpg files I'm getting ready to send to someone when this happens.  My Bridge version is 13.0.3.693 and I'm running on Windows 10 with all updates installed.  The only way to clear the "lock up" is to close then restart Bridge.  This behavior has been observed for more than a year.  

 When I use bridge, it randomly opens files when I select them.I am on PC, and have all mouse settings on normal.This problem only happens in bridge and is destroying my workflow.Is there anywhere in adobe products to stop this.Set a longer time, so selected files don’t open?
