Can Adobe Bridge be used to view/organize/manage InDesign Files? . INDDs? 

hello a folder I had in Bridge has dissapeared I could have deleted accidentally is there a way I can retrieve it I'm on Windows 10 thankyou ..   {Thread title edited by moderator}

Every once in a while Bridge 11.1 loads but not all the way.  It doesn't show the last two or three folders in the folder tree.  Cliking on any image gives App not responding.  The only way back to functionality is to reboot.  All other things work, like browsers, Word, Excel etc. Bridge is what is not working. after reboot Bridge works.

Is possible to add a shortcut to the bridge contextual menu (right-click menu) in a mac system?Adding the shortcut through the system preferences is not working.OSX CatalinaBRCC 2020    

Hi All,Bridge now won't show folder tree when accessing folders over local network. This worked regular just a few weeks ago. I am running it on Win 10 64-bit. I tried some advices from forum such as resetting all preferences and cache, turn on show hidden files but nothing helps.Do you have any suggestion how to turn on this feature which is very useful?Thanks and regards, Vlado

Soooooo, I tried to bug report this over at the uservoice site, but the login links there appear to be totally broken. As the subject says, if a TIFF file exceeds 1GB, Bridge (2020 and 2021 at least) can no longer write keyword/metadata updates, reporting "The file xxxxxxxx.tif cannot store XMP information." Re-saving the file with different compression to get below 1GB works around the problem, if possible. This certainly seems to be a bug, since I can write the XMP tags using other software.

lost a large number of files while trying to transfer them from one drive to another . they vanished no trace whats so ever both on the external drive and on my mac any help pls 

Hi,   so I got a few actions for convenience, one of them I use to precess PSDs/PSBs to flattened Tiffs while removing guides/paths/alphas.  For some reason I cant understand when I start the action for Bridge it gives and error which I've tracked to the clear paths script, but the same action works flawlessly if started from Photoshop (using source and destination folders).   Start Batch File: "/Volumes/Work SSD/XXXXXXXXX/210525_XXXXXX9755.psb" Error: Could not complete the ScriptingSupport command because of a program error. (-1)   Script in question:   app.displayDialogs = DialogModes.NO; activeDocument.pathItems.removeAll(); app.displayDialogs = DialogModes.YES;   Its not a dela breaker but there's some convinience in deploying actions on particular files in a folder.   Thanks.

Why are untagged folders showing up in my search results when I do a keyword search?

I need the rating filter to batch edit RAW images.. My Bridge did an update, and now it's gone.. I tried all the trick online and nonthing has worked.. 

I just updated my operating system to Big Sur and now Bridge shows up as a black screen.  I've restarted my computer several times... nothing is helping.  I've tried updating my adobe but it says I don't have access (which isn't true because I have a paid account).  What gives!?

I took photos with my Canon eos 550d (not sure if that matters but just to be safe) and wanted to edit them, but only in bridge/camera raw and not in photoshop. Then I wanted to transfer the pictures to a memory card but when they were put on the desktop they were not edited anymore. I haven't had this problem before since i usually always edit in photoshop as well, does anyone know what the problem is?

Hii'm trying to convice a friend to install bridge 11is there a way to install bridge 11 or older without a free subscription my friend does use other software , capture onebut i would like she could try and use it without creating a subscription  (she doesn't want to create any account )thanks

WHere did the PDF OUTPUT  module for  BRIDGE CC 2021 go- I cannot seem to output a pdf?  Did you remove  that function? I have wasted hours  following instruction for older vesions to  install the WORKSPACE modules but none of them word...HELP?

Hello,I've been trying to figure out why the labels in Adobe Bridge aren't working. I can't use the labels or ratings. I'm using an external hard drive connected via cable. Everytime I try the label menu name highlights and still does nothing. I've tried purging the cache, resetting the settings, and uninstalling.I've downloaded the file to my computer and it labels files off my desktop, but not on my hard drive. I'm all out of ideas.If you have any solutions, I would be grateful. Thanks!

We plan using the Bridge Export panel with various presets for thousands of images. The tool seems to be largely broken, though. I created a preset, chose one of the available output options and set a valid path. Then I dropped a couple of files onto the preset and pressed the "Run" button.The tool fails exporting with all supported  file formats, but jpg (we need png). The error message says that the chose bitmap format is unsupported, which is silly, as one can't input file formats apart from the one offered in the dropdown menu. I have already reset preferences (which I hate doing, as it is terribly lossy). Indeed, I could make the Export panel once, but soon stopped working again.Could this error be related to moving the cache location? I have moved the cache to a synced location to use it with two machines (the cache on both machines is local and lives on fast SSDs). What speaks against this theory is that the Exporter still works for jpg.Is this bug known and is there a

After spending hours of choosing best pictures out of the all the originals, and after beeing reconnected my external hard drive I realised that  my Bridge doesnt recognise any rating marks that i previously put on my files. Please HELP!!! Its so Urgent! thanks in advance for any kind of help

Ratings given in bridge are not visible in lightroom import process. Bridge is easy to preview and select, it would be convenient if the selected pictures can be imported to lightroom. How can it be done?

I have never been able to get Bridge to preview video worth a darn.  It either doesn't play at all or, at best, it stutters during playback, often locking up in the process.  This problem persists for anything other than low-bitrate HD footage.  Format doesn't make a difference. I know the problem is not my machine because I can easily preview videos with no stuttering in Davinci Resolve. How do I make Bridge preview my video files as easily as Resolve? Thanks, rgames

Hi,   is there a way to enable smooth scrolling in Adobe Bridge 2020? Like a casual smooth scrolling like in every normal application, browser or program? My devices (touchpad, mouse, Wacom pen) work great in any other application. Bridge allows smooth scrolling when using (click & drag) the sidebar. Is there a way to do the same by simply hover over the content & scroll without grabbing the sidebar? Super annoying & useless.   Thank you!    {Thread renamed by moderator}    

When making TIFF files from a Camera Raw files in Bridge is it possible to not delete the cropped pixels (so that the resulting TIFF file can be re-cropped when opened in Photoshop), or can this only be done by first making the TIFF file and then, when open in Photoshop, unchecking “Delete Cropped Pixels” when cropping? Just installed bridge. Added my folder called 'libraries' to favorites.This folder has several sub folders, and pictuures. I do not see the pictures.How do I tell bridge to "scan" this folder?is this supposed to happen automatically? Can I see the scan progress? The beginner guide is stupid. It starts by telling you advanced stuff, but no word about how to get your desktop pictures into bridge

Shooting Video and Sound seperately.Wav files wont preview in bridge.Any attempt to preview audio files from bridge cause Bridge to freeze requiring force quit.Files play fine through Audition.Preview of  Video+Audio (from camera) works fine.... seems odd that Bridge cant handle JUST audio file from audio recorder (TascamDR40)I thought the whole point of Bridge is to help manage/organize multiple files across the adobe family.
