Being able to PLACE images that you see in BRIDGE in a Photoshop Image is a great feature.It would be even better if the Thumbnail background color could be changed so that you could see light images like clouds that are on transparent backgrounds.According to our code writer, this isn't a big trick when creating a third-party program.By having the background layer of an image a darker color, he can have the selected image PLACED without the background.Thumbnails in Bridge will display the background color now but do not separate the image from the background during the PLACE process.Perhaps just having the Bridge background a darker color would show images like clouds properly.

I just came across a something weird. For some reason Bridge is not reading the XMP sidecards of RAW files. I can see that the XMP files are in the folder but they are not recognized. I remember having spent several hours editing those photos some months ago in the same computer using Bridge and Camera RAW. However, the folder where there the issue appreas, the preview images do not get updated and opening photos in Camera Raw do not show the edits in the side cards. What it is even weirder, the XMP files seem to have no information about the edits that I did. What went wrong in Bridge? I do not think there is a way to recover the edits though. 

Can adobe please add Pick flag support for Bridge?  They have the "Reject" flag, so why not a "Pick" flag.  The reason I'm requesting this is for those who need to go back and forth between LR Classic and ACR perhaps, and Pick Flags don't seem to be supported in Bridge (the workaround I've found it to use 1-Star ratings as pick flags, but would be nice if Bridge actually supported the pick flag itself).

I keep having this problem where I am trying to do one thing and then Photoshop opens the image.  Like I might change the number of stars, clicking there and it opens. Now I just highlight a folder of images clicking once on the first and then shift clicking on the last to update metadata for all in the folder, and then had to wait while it opened them all.  This is constantly interfering with my workflow. 

Hi,   I wanted to be able to geotag images and show their location on a map view using Bridge, so I have been working on an extension to do that. Basic functionality seems to work so far so I published it on my github: bridge-map-view   It is based on Google Maps so you need to create an API key. It is a little convoluted process but Google has pretty conclusive documentation about it. The extension is also not signed/packaged, since I don't really understand how to, so you need to just download the source files and enable debug mode in Bridge to use it. More instruction in the README.   Let me know if you find it useful or if it is not working, I will gladly help.  

I updated to the latest versions of bridge and photoshop and now my tools photoshop merge to hdr pro is missing. If I use an old version of bridge is has the option but tells me I need to update photoshop. Which I have already done. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. 

Hi, since today morning I can not open any file in Camera Raw with Bridge (CR3, CR2, jpg).Deinstalled Bridge, reinstalled, no success, deinstalled together with Photoshop, removed every Camera Raw folder I found, no success.When clicking in Bridge in Camera Raw settings, same problem, Bridge freezes.Deinstalled the newest file for an older Version ( 11.1.4.213), same problem with freezing.In Photoshop I can open every raw file.Working on Mac OS 12.0.1Thanks for any help!

When I click Get Photos From Camera in Bridge, nothing happens. There is no error and no Photo Downloader dialog window. I use this all the time to import photos from my SIM cards.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and installing an older version and re-upping back to the newest version. No change at all in functionality.  Any ideas?

I have an unusuak probelem.We use Bridge on two computers:1 Windows and 1 Mac. They both access files on a networked drive. Sometimes the MAC will create a file folder and on the MIC its ist perfectly legible, but on the Windows PC it is not.IE:MAC Made a file in Bridge  Titled: Graham LopezIt will show correctly in all programs, as well as in Bridge. BUT..On the windows machine (all brograms and Bridge)  it shows as: GFK4CH~5  This happens about 80% of the time with the Bridge created file folders on the Mac. We then need to use the WINDOWS machine to rename them correctly. So as you can imagine, its a lot of double work. Has anyone else experienced this and more imortant, do you have a solution?The MAC is new running the lastes IOS and latest Bridge. Thank you,Paul

Would be abamazing if you could preview the image flipped horizontally for errors, and also preview an image in grayscale to check your values without always having to open photoshop.

So this sometimes I've always had a problem with since using bridge 10 years ago to this day, and that it that the zoom goes from 0% to 100% to 200%.These increments are too large to see your image. If you have a fairly small resolution image like 2000pixels x 2000pixels maybe its not too bad, but when you go above that the zoom is too extreme.Like for example if I have a portrait and I'm trying to zoom in on the head, it zooms all the way to the eye instead. I cant get a good look at the head from bridge.They give you zoom options in Photoshop. Like when using a filter such as the liquify or Camera raw, lens corrections, ect... the zoom options are 6%, 12%, 25%, 25%, 33%, 50% 66%, then 100%, 200%, and so on. Also they give side options to "Fit to View" +, and - .Image if your only zoom options for liquify were 100% and 200% like bridge is,  you couldnt use the tools if they were. Seems like it would be a very welcomed and not too hard change to add.Thank you!

I pretty much use Bridge for one task: sorting through and previewing assets I have collected into a single folder. The folder in question has tens of thousands of items, all of which are meticulously tagged with keywords. The hundreds of keywords are sorted into folders and subfolders so I can find the keyword I need quickly. But the problem is if I want to see everything tagged with a specific keyword, the fastest way to do this seems to be to filter the folder by that keyword. However, if I go to the filter panel and sort by keyword, it lists every single one of my hundreds of keywords alphabetically, regardless of whether those keywords are in subfolders. This means that if I want to look at every file tagged "owl," I have to scroll through hundreds of keywords to reach O. (Instead of going in the Keywords panel to Animals>Birds>Owl, right-clicking, and hitting Find.) Another issue might be if I don't quite remember what the keyword is. My keyword structure might be

I am using CS6 Brige in Windows 11.  Menus and icon are too small.I found a fix for Photoshop but it does not work in Bridge.        

I have recently started using Bridge 2020 on a MacBook Pro High Sierra (coming from the old Bridge CS5).  There are a number of degradations in the new Bridge 2020 and I can't see what's actually better - overall it seems to be clumsy port of the old bridge which worked rather well.  I shall create a different thread for each problem. I have lots of external drives which I plug in and out as and when needed.  An intrinsic problem of Bridge (even under the old version) was that if you create a shortcut under Favourites to a volatile directory (like an external drive), if you click on it when the directory is not available, in its wisdom it decides that it needs to remove the shortcut!! In order to get around this annoyance I had created a directory called "Switchboard" on my MBP and in terminal, I had created symbolic links to the said drive's target directory, (ln -s /Volumes/blah/photos ~/Switchboard/blahPhotos). I would then add Switchboard to my favouri

Hi, Don´t work with bridge alot just a few times a year of chagnes sizes of multiply images for websites. But now it was time. When i open it, it runs fine but when i´m starting to select folder, images and so on it freezes and the program crashes. I have tried following: UpdateUpdate creative cloudUpdate other adobes programsReinstall Bridge / install againReinstall bride, restart computer, use a "cleaner program" that i found as a solution on google. Nothing works same problem still. I run a pc, windows 10. Bridge version 12.0.3.270What can i do? Thanks! 

Make possible to disable putting "Photoshop thumbnail" to files when converting RAW's to TIFF.Photoshop thumbnail is pointless junk metadata and some softwares like GIMP can't handle it correctly. Actually nobody needs Photoshop thumbnail and it's like junk metadata...

Why won't bridge allow me to rotate my photos? I have rotated images before using hotkeys but now it won't allow me to??

Me es imposible abrir una imagen en Camera Raw desde Bridge. Me indica en un pop up que "la edición de Camera Raw no esta activada. La edición de Camera Raw requiere que un producto determinado tenga licencia"Nunca me ha pasado esto. ¿de que se trata? ¿como se resuelve?Gracias

Is there a way to make batch rename not force me to scroll all the way back dwn to where I left off after renaming a bunch of files? Every time I use the feature it resets me to the top of my folder, and I have to find my wa yback down to where i left off.

J'ai désinstallé et réinstallé Photoshop et Bridge sans succès.Merci pour votre aide. 

Why has Bridge 12.0.3.270 suddenly stopped displaying thumbnails for my Canon CR3, Nikon NEF RAW files, and TIFF Files. Displaying JPEG and MOV has no problem. Win 10 64 Bit operating system.  I have reset Bridge Preferences but it still doesn't work.  I also uninstalled Bridge but it behaves the same.  Please help !

For months we have plagued bij freezing and crashes. Happens everytime apple has a new update, the fixes proposed don't work. Its goid for awhile and then its back. This is not a post for specs or solutions. This is about getting an answer when this will be fixed. Impossible to work!!! 

I'm running Bridge 12.3.3.270 on MacOSMonterey 12.5 and it will not search the subfolders of an external drive - the folders that contain the actual images.In 'Find' the 'Include All Subfolders' is checked so that's not it.The dropdown in the top right corner is set to 'Bridge Search: current folder'I can double click on any folder on the drive and the images appear without a problem. Their keyword data is all there. But If I search by keyword, Bridge returns zero results. It appears it is not reading the contents of those folders.I've seent this problem covered many times in the Support Community but it seems the same silly solution is offered up - "did you check that 'Include All Subfolders' is checked. Any other suggestions?

2 Probleme  noch immer vorhanden, auch nachdem ich Bridge komplett deinstalliert hatte:a) Unter Optik-Profilkorrekturen "Objektprofil kann in Camera RAW (v 14.0.1) nicht geladen werden" , auch die Marke Nikon erscheint als "ohne" Anhang 1+2).b) Wenn ich aus der Bridge mehr als ein jpg-Bild auf einmal in PS öffnen möchte, fehlt die Option "Öffnen mit...'", es wird nur "In Camewra RAW öffnen" angezeigt Anhang 3)    Ich habe die neuste Version von Creative Cloud. Freundliche GrüßeHeinz Hehenbergerheinz.hehenberger@aon.at
