Hey! When I shoot photos I copy them from a card to finder on mac, then use bridge to sort thru them before importing to LR/PS. Just recently it started showing most photos with Lens Corrections applied. This is a problem because I shoot fisheye photos and I dont know if you have ever tried to appy corrections to one but it makes it look insane and hard to sort thru. How can I disable this? It never happened until around a month ago. maybe apart of an update?
I can't seem to find a way to associate .jpg or .png files with the default Windows Photo Viewer. There is no .exe file for it. There only seems to be a .dll file but it doesn't work to associate .jpg files in Bridge with a .dll file. How can I open .jpg files in Bridge with the default Windows Photo Viewer?
Intermittent, unpredictable inability to add or apply edits to metadata fields such as IPTC Core using Adobe Bridge 12.0.2 and preceding 12.0.1.246 release. This is particularly unacceptable when editing metadata of multiple selected images. Worse yet, there is no error message generated! You must check file by file, metadata field by field, to see if the edit was applied. This seems to persist in certain image files but not others. When only one file has metadata added or edited metadata, clicking the lower right corner “Apply” icon results in either:the added or edited metadata disappear from the field after a few seconds and the metadata is not changed, orthe added or edited metadata remains visible and the metadata is actually changed. Reverting back to Bridge 11.1.3.200 seems to eliminate the problem. Added or edited metadata are applied to the XMP sidecar file(s). Is this a bug in how Bridge caches writes to the XMP files? Windows File Explorer file shows all
Is it possible to tell Bridge CC > Tools > Photoshop to use Photoshop CS5?I'd like to select the images in Bridge CC but use the Image Processor in CS5.Thanks.
Hi all, I am trying to sync the images I have saved in lightroom cloud into adobe bridge....it seems I can only import images into bridge from my computer or camera but not from the creative cloud? If I do import the images again from my camera, will they be duplicated in my cloud storage (and essentially take up twice as much space)? I want to be able to add keywords to my images and I'm worried that the images I already have saved in lightroom cloud will be missed? thanks
I am working in Adobe Bridge with large files like 27MBs and when I open them in Phtoshop they are reduced to like 5MB and my JPGs are being saved in the KB size range.....
Since I updated Bridge a couple days ago it won't open. The CMD SHIFT OPT option doesn't work. Is Adobe aware of this? Where's the response?

I am not the first to find this stowaway on the most recent updates as of June 22, 2022. Thank you

I have just bought a brand new Canon EOS R. I've been taking a few tets photos and videos and when I try to import them, the files say they dont support the format.I've never had this issue before and I'm at a loss on how to fix it. Tried looking it up and have found nothing. I can import JPEG format but not RAW.
As of today Bridge won't open. I just get a Bridge quit unexpectantly message. My work colleague has the same issue. -------------------------------------Translated Report (Full Report Below)-------------------------------------Process: Adobe Bridge 2022 [12798]Path: /Applications/Adobe Bridge 2022/Adobe Bridge 2022.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Bridge 2022Identifier: com.adobe.bridge12Version: 12.0.2.252 (12.0.2.252)Code Type: X86-64 (Translated)Parent Process: launchd [1]User ID: 503Date/Time: 2022-06-22 14:03:42.6650 +0100OS Version: macOS 12.1 (21C52)Report Version: 12Anonymous UUID: B4E2DA52-0FB7-30A9-7369-2DCB0541E8B3Sleep/Wake UUID: 118261C4-879D-44F2-9929-E5A753EDE10CTime Awake Since Boot: 19000 secondsTime Since Wake: 1779 secondsSystem Integrity Protection: enabledCrashed Thread: 0Exception Type: EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT)Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFYTermination Reason: Namespace DYLD, Code 1 Library missingLibrary not loade
Bridge 2022 won't display my .tif files. It's been awhile since I used Bridge but that doesn't seem right.
Good Morning,I was wondering if there is a script that can find a keyword that was assigned to a phtos and replace it with a new one. I know that if I reaname a keywrods, it will not be renamed in the assigned photos, and bridge will create back the the kewords that I renamed so I never do that. I usually go to find a specific keyword, change it it the photos that I found and assign the new one. But this is a lot of work. So I was thinking maybe there is a script for that: I will crate a new keywords and in the script I will ask to find and replace the old keyword with the new one I crated. I hope I manged to describe my question. good day,Shlomit
Before the latest Bridge CC update, each thumbnail photo in Bridge had an outline of 5 tiny stars. You could click on one of these outlined stars to give it a star rating, 3 stars, 4 stars, etc. These star outlines are missing. There's no stars for me to click to rate an image. How can I fix this? It could not have come at a more inopportune time. I am about to get some photos ready for holiday gifts! Thanks for any help you can give! Happy Holidays!
Hello,I have over 2000 photos that I want to crop to certain ratio depending on the closest defined ratio. The ratios I need are 1:1 and 7:5 and 1:3 They can be both portrait and landscapeExamples,Original dimensions (px) => Cropped dimensions (px)100x110 => 100x100159x50 => 150x5042x120 => 40x120How can I do that? I have found this code by @SuperMerlin that I think can be adapted to do this. After checking the image dimensions instead of moving it should crop the image. Problem is I have no idea how to modify the script! Any help would be greatly appreciated. *Bonus point 🙂 if the crop can be "Smart" in a way to detect the important object in the image that would be amazing.#target bridge if( BridgeTalk.appName == "bridge" ) { sortPics = new MenuElement("command", "Sort Landscape - Portrait - Square Pics", "at the end of Tools"); } sortPics.onSelect = function () { var sels = app.document.selections; if(sels.length < 1) return; v
So it's been not sure how long, but it's been more than a year I think. When you have a gradient map layer in Photoshop, Bridge generates the preview without applying the gradient map. I'm using the latest versions, v12 for Bridge.
Bridge 12 won't display properly some image thumbnails. So far is has to do only with b/w images; they are displayed in color. But it's not happening for all images; seems random. Problem persists even if I refresh and purge cache.
Just subscribed to Adobe CC on new laptop. A Bridge feature I use constantly in my work is the compact mode. This feature is now gone. The workaround is clumsy and inefficient, to say the least. I find online only that it is gone but no explanation other than 'it cannot be used in other Adobe CC apps' or something to that affect. Is there a rational explanation and an efficient alternative? I've returned to my old laptop just so I can finish two projects with fierce interplay between InDesign and Bridge. Please restore this invaluable feature! Thanks for any advice.
Bonjour,J'utilise quotidiennement Bridge pour renommer, pivoter et scripter via photoshop des lots d'images.Or depuis 5-6 jour, l'affichage des miniature, et la mise à jour des noms de fichier est d'une lenteur anormale par rapport à l'utilisation habituelle. Bridge est à jour.Et est utilisé sur PC windows 10 ProfessionnelUne idée du prolème? bien à vous {Title edited by Moderator}
For about 1,5 hours I was editing Canon raw files (cr3) and besides corrections in brightness, white balance etc. I also applied automatic masks to edit the sky. So far so good. Suddenly I couldn't do anything in Bridge: neither switching to other photos, nor going back from the raw fil editing to the thumbnail preview, nor eciting the application. All I could do was to termintate the program via process explorer. Then I recognized that all my changes I made to hundreds of photos were lost: neither the xmp files, nor the acr files were saved. Is there a place on the hard drive where copies of theses files are saved so I can restore my changes?
I spent today trying to get used to the new look but I seemed to be doing a lot of scrolling that I wasn't before. I work with hundreds, sometimes thousands of images at a time, rearranging them before giving them a final name for archiving. I was very happy last year when I got a large display that reduced the amount of scrolling I had to do. With this new version of Bridge, I can see 30% fewer thumbnails at a time. I have noticed an improvement in the overall performance of the application but, having to spend much more time scrolling cancels that out. Between this and the Workspace buttons issue I am very disappointed in this version. With version 2018 I can see 78 images at a time, with version 2019 I can only see 60. Screenshots attached, the first is 2018. Thumbnails measure the same in both instances.
There seem to be various posts discussing issues with these consuming lost of RAM / CPU, but I've not been able to find any information on what they are actually for? For the moment I've renamed both the files to prevent them from running and have seen no ill effect. It would be useful to know what they are actually for?
Several times this has happened. I am viewing files or videos in Bridge and the window shrinks back to the icon on the taskbar. If I hover over that, I see a preview of the folder and contents of what I was just on, but it won't open. In another case, just the filename showed and that desktop turned from blue with icons to gray and blank. In one case, I rebooted as all the other icons shrank and became response and I had to reboot. Last time I used task manager to restart Bridge.
When I review my images in Bridge, I press the space bar and get a full screen image, I press arrow to go to following ones sequentially.. This doesn't work with videos. If I'm on the icon and prss spacbar, nothing happens. But if I am viewing an image file selected thus, full screen, and press the arrow key and the next one is a video, then it shows and plays full screen. I prefer this to using the smaller preview above the metadata. Isn't there another way to do this? Videos are often adjacent to an image file.
Come on Adobe, Bridge has been so bad for years. Now in 12.02 fresh install of macOS and Adobe so many things don't work. Folders don't showw all files. Can't remove labele from files. Some folders don't show up in the folder list. That's just in the last five minutes. PLEASE FIX!
