Hello,I am using Adobe Bridge CC 2015 version 6.3.1.186 and I am trying to do a batch rename on a lot of photos (all are JPGs). It was working, then when I opened a new folder of photos, it stopped renaming them. Once I click rename, nothing happens to the original filename. I tried to purge the cache, force quit and restart my computer, but nothing has happened.Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?Thanks.

quick question: does the Photographers plan ; icloud Adobe Lr/Ph 20gb include adobe bridge and Camera Raw? I need it in the pack... and not sure if it is included... ifnot which plan includes it?  

Hi, I have a large folder of 300 raw files that I'm renaming based on photos activity. When I rename files at the beginning of the file list Adobee Bridge default to the end of file list after renaming. I want it to return to last renamed files. How do I set default for this renaming process?

From a targeted folder containing photos (folder a), I have exported an Adobe Bridge cache via the TOOLS –> MANAGE CACHE -> EXPORT CACHE.I attempt to import the cache into the appropriate folder (folder a) from a different computer through the commands TOOLS –> MANAGE CACHE -> IMPORT CACHE. When prompted, I expose the cache by holding "COMMAND+SHIFT+." on a Mac computer.I select the newly exposed cache and am prompted with the following message:"Shared cache is not available for selected locations."How do I manage a single cache for multiple users? The goal of this is to prevent each team member from having to index thousands of photos. Until last week, the batch rename was working perfectly. But suddenly the program stopped batch renaming. The window opens but once I click "ok", absolutely nothing happens. Does anyone knows what might be happening and how I could fix it?Thanks!

When I go into Bridge and click on my computer >user, to open and view my files, I find that A new user has been added, (which I did not add). This user is not found anywhere else on my computer except in bridge. when I click on this user all of my files areIocked, when trying to view them through bridge. The only way I can access my images is to go straight to my pictures folder and right click and choose “open in Bridge”. But that defeats the purpose of being able to browse in bridge. it is a brand new computer and I have continual malware scanning running. I have done a scan and it shows no malware. I contacted Apple support and they said they do not support third-party apps such as Adobe. I am at a loss but don’t know where to go from here. Thanks in advance.

Community says: BRIDGE is free. Adobe offers some craze "plans", containing huge number - so called "programs", which are for NOTHING! There are not in the world human being, who needs such largely spread needs: from graphics, publishing, photography, management, and hundreds completely unusefull "tools" - possibly needed for the only SOME ONE ELSE! I work with the ONLY photographs. I make NONE graphics and I do mnot "manage nothing, using graphics" as wall as I do not publish anything in raster nor vector graphics. Adobe's offer contains crazy "plans" with evenly crazy huge offer unneeded "tools". Trying to install of the (FREE?) Bridge, the installation file HAD NEVER STARTED. Is then Bridge (add Camera RAW) publicly available or it is the following Adobe mistification, as many other? Working with some PROFESSIONAL TOOL, I MUST have full knowledge about its feasibility, when Adobe try to convince me, that I MUST looking for tools which are CONTINUOSLY CHANGING!!! I just installed Bridge 11.1 running on Mac OS big sur 11.4.  The camera raw slider is not displaying any text.  Image is displayed.Please help.  Thanks.

I use Adobe Bridge in a computer lab for class. We don't always get to use the same computer. Rebuilding my export preset every time is a hassle. Can I save my export preset to a drive or in the cloud and reinstall it on the next computer I use? If so, how do I do that? Thanks!

Going all the way back to the beginning of Bridge, I have always wondered why Thumbnails, dimensions in inches, does not show exact numbers. It is always rounded up from a tenth of an inch.   Example: a file described in Bridge shows a file as 15.2x22.6, yet when opened in PS it is 15.2x22.527. I assume it is to save visual real estate but it requires opening every file to confirm exact dimensions in inches.   We often make print files with a fine black line around the image. So a 16x20 will show up as 16.1x20.1 with only 6 pixels added around for trimming. It assumes that we are good with the "estimated" numbers.   If dimesnions, singular is chosen in Thumbnails, the pixel dimensions are exact. Let's share the accuracy!

Metadata Field Labels now all the same - Previously were descriptive --- IE:   Name, Street, City, State, Country, Description, Keywords, location, etc  

It just started that Bridge 11 can no longer create previews of images.Not only that, it loses all the thumbnails it had. I open a folder of images and they are there and then they go out one by one and I only have the Photoshop symbol. Those are all TIFF files, layered or not, as soon as I open a folder, all the previews die and are replaced by the PHotoshop symbol. What is going on here? How can I fix this? "Purge Cache for folder" does not work. Bridge has lost the ability to create previews of TIFF files.  

Hi folks,How do I retain the Keywords that the lovely people at Getty add to video clips?Stills don't seem to be a problem, but there are are none when I load video clips in Bridge (11.0.2.123) running on Windows 10.I've ticked all the boxes in the metadata choices in Preferences.TIA(Be gentle, I'm VERY new to Bridge).

After shooting a wedding, I realized that half of the photos my second shooter made were on a camera with the incorrect date and time. (Even after asking her to sync it, she only synced one camera, ugh.) I need to be able to change hundreds/thousands of photos, and I thought this would be relatively easy, but I'm hitting snags. I can change the capture time, but either shift just the time of day by hours/minutes, or set them all to the exact same date and time. I need to first change the date, then separately shift the time. Is this possible? I tried converting the number of days into hours, and shifting the time by that number of hours, but there's a limit of 24 hours to shift. I tried just changing the date, but then it changes all the photos to the exact same time of day ALONG with the date.Can anyone help me figure this out?

When viewing a Collection in Bridge, Ctrl-F, to open the Find dialog, is grayed out.  To access Find, you have to select an actual folder.  To me, this is a bug — it’s not obvious to me why Find needs to be disabled when a Collection is selected for viewing.

Due to financial woes, I must unsubscribe from all my software subscriptions.I understand Bridge is free with an Adobe account. But is Bridge part of the Photography Plan and will I have to re-install it after unsubscribing? Or will my previous installation still continue to work? Thanks.

I have 2 issues I'd like to resolve with Bridge. 1/ when I save a larger file it doesn't show the preview of the photo but rather the PSD logo.How do I get previews on all photo's. The second issue is I use Labels sometimes they won't appy to a specific photo preview, again it seems to be on larger files?

Hi there, I am looking for a way to combine a custom export, a custom metadata set and a batch rename process. In photoshop it is possibly to combine several automation processes into one action, even if they need to be started through several menus. In Bridge, I don't find a way to combine the above three actions. When having a folder with images, I need to apply the three actions one by one but I'd like to perform one "action" which will have the three above mentioned ones included. Are there any possibilities? The Adobe support says that Bridge itself has no option. Maybe there is a plugin available or any chance to use the Mac Automator here? Any other ideas? Thank you for your help! I am using Bridge 2021 and Mac OS 11.6

Hello everybody!I have a question about Adobe Bridge and the subscription. Since some years I teach photo archive and when Bridge became free to download, I use that as my main tool in the classrooms.The classes I started two weeks ago told me that they had a warning their trial is about to expire and they have to subscribe. But isn't Bridge free to download? Why are they required to subscribe? Have I missed something these months?Thanks in advance.

I am so sick of the extra time and work regarding my organization of files due to this problem that has plagued me for years and no updates or versions has ever corrected.  I have 3 attachments.  In the one of Bridge, note that after the 1st 3 NEFs, the time (shot) for .MOVs jumps 5 hours.  (10:56am to 3:57PM) This is always the case with movies, out of time sync with the images before and after.  When I later change the file names to my own numbering system and add names, I can never see the order taken again by sorting by date.In the Nikon's ViewNX-i attachment, note the correct time for 302_0679 is 10:57am which is correct.I wondered how Lightroom would handle this so I downloaded and tried to install, but got the error message in the 3rd attachment.
