Bridge

The settings of the adjustment brush in CR are lost when moving to another photo.This is annoying as I want to use the same settings for multiple photos.All settings are reset to default, which costs a lot of extra time. How can I prevent this reset and let CR remember the last settings? 

If you do not want to select and download all the images on a camera memory card using Photo Downloader, is there a way to keep Photo Downloader open once download has completed.It is a pain to have to keep on putting the card back into reader to have downloader open again.ThanksEuan Fraser

Adobe Bridge 2020 will not import the .CR2 files from my Canon 40D. Instead, I get the error message "This device does not contain any supported media".  This despite about 100 cr2 files in the camera.  Any suggestions?

I am trying to mass export my raw files as Jpeg. When i check the mass export progress, it is not running the program and sits with the message 1 job pending.I havent been able to export for 2 days now.thanks

I updated to windows 10 and re-installed Photoshop CS5. Since then when I start Brdige it always start on the desktop. Previously it would start in the last folder I used. Where can I set that it remembers the last folder and starts there

Hello,Birdge, which is one of the main apps I'm using is giving me such a hard time. Since some years, it's being so slow that sometimes I just go to a finder window as it's imposiblle to workd (moving files, create new folder etc.). But, on the past year or more it keeps crashing when selecting a folder in order to see what's in it. No matter what I did, Purge cash, trash prefs, check hidden files etc. or what ever was offered to do - nothing helps. Many of the folders that causes the crash are folders that I was able to view without crash, I did not change anything and suddenly it's causing a crash.  On all the reports I see (which I hardly understand them) I get the same Termination Error: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 0xb. The only thing that helped was to create a new folder and paste the name of the folder that is crashing Bridge and move all files to this folder. Renaming the folder didn't help. I do hope there is a solution for that, I don't knw

Whenever I lunch Adobe Bridge, it freezes and displays the following message if I click any where on the bridge window: "Bridge is not responding". The only way to get it unfreezed is to turn off my internet connection off. then it starts fine. Meaning, internet connections, it starts fine. Internet connection on, it freezes.  Any one elses are experiencing the same issue

Got a new Samsung 4K a few weeks ago. Immediately noticed massive, and I mean biblically massive slowdowns, taking up to 10 seconds to select a thumbnail, for example.Today I decided to try Bridge on my non-4K monitor, and baBANG! There's the bridge I'd come to know and like. Here's the whacky part: I dragged Bridge back to the 4K and things were running fairly well. Bridge eventually slows back down, but seemingly not as slow as when I boot and run it in the 4K.I've not noticed this in other Adobe apps, however.So.v9.0.2.219

Hello good afternoon. I'm using Bridge with W10 and after a while the program freezes. The only way to use it again is to go to windows tasks and close the process. Someone else happens it? It does not throw error, it just freezes.Sorry because my english.Best regards,Walter

I have tried this on 3 different machines, Photo Downloader never shows the RAF files from my Fuji XT-3 camera. It has been like this for a year. With RAF files from my XT-2 camera I don't have that problem. Am I the only one? Is this is Photo Downloader problem of a windows problem? After importing Bridge does show previews but it's hard to make a selection in Downloader like this. Hope someone can help

I've installed Adobe Bridge 2019 on mij iMac and my Windows-PC. On the Windows-PC Bridge works as it should be, but om the iMac Bridge 2019 can't find the network. All my photo's are storage on a network location (NAS) and I can't reach them.

I updated the raw converter in CS6, which went well in photoshop, but in Bridge I still have no update.Means I can still not see the RAW pictures from the new camera in Brdge.What should I do to solve my problem? 

Bridge won't show anything under thumbnails, despite being set to show filename, date and size.  They won't show colors assigned.  Attempts to reset, purge or compact cache haven't helped. I can't even rename a file to correct a spelling mistake, without going to a bulk rename utility. This is making my editing and organizing taking multiple times longer.  Other problems are that movies may show no thumbnail at all, just an icon and not play without going to media player.  It also assigns wrong dates or times.  7/5/2017 seems to be a favorite lately.  I took shots and video of magpies, and shots show times of ~11:30am, while videos show times of ~4:30pm, though all were taken sequentially.  I don't know how it is legal to be forced to pay for such a bug-ridden program that makes work so difficult and make operations  take so many times longer than they should .  And now after an automatic update by Win 10 I keep getting an error message (pic

I've migrated my copy of CS6 from a10.8.5 Mac to a new 10.12.5 MAC. Installation accomplished with Adobe support help. But photo downloader does not detect the camera (or any camera) and I am unable to import. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

I use two computers: one automatically creates .Bridgesort files and the other does not.  I like to have them as I need to save my sorts: is there a setting that I can change?

New user, so maybe I am missing something.I would really like to be able to filter on a range of GPS coordinates, eg from Latitude max,min and Longitude max,min.  So I can find photos taken in a specific area, but from many different trips.  Cant seem to find any way of doing this.

I am trying to understand the RegEx syntax to accomplish a limited scope of rename/reorder operations for migration to a new MAM/storage system. I have thousands of files with file names resembling the following:HS - 3_1_18_1pm_Jerry Garciaand need to identify and reorder the date/time string from the existing M_DD_YY_Ttt format seen above to the new format of:YYYY_MM_DDand then possibly rearrange the different elements of the filename. I have used Bridge extensively in the past for basic find/replace and sequencing jobs, but I have been unable to find a good primer on the RegEx syntax for advanced string substitution. Please advise.

When Using Adobe Bridge CC 2018  and the Apple Magic Mouse 2  with Sierra 10.12.6  and a MacBook Pro Mid 2014,  the Scrolling Speed is too sensitive.  I am referring to the vertical scrolling sensitivity when scrolling up and down through the Bridge Picture display using a finger on the mouse to move up and down.  This cannot be adjusted with the Mouse Options or Accessibility Mouse & Trackpad options using Mac System Preferences.This is an Apple/Adobe compatibility problem.   Has Apple and Adobe developed an option to correct this problem?As you probably are aware by now the Apple Platform has again become Adobe's professional user communities platform of choice as it was in the beginning.

Hello,I need to select some images in Adobe Bridge and then open them in previously saved photoshop document. Usually bridge opens them in default photoshop window but let say I create template.psd file and put it on my desktop. Now when I select particular images in Bridge I need them to open in template.psd and not in photoshop.exe. But not always, sometimes I need images to open in default PS. 

I'm using version 9.0.3.279 I'm lmay be looking for a good cataloging program. Right now I use Bridge, but I wish I could find a way to tag and filter my images that would carry into subfolders. I have my  images broken up into years and months with each year, but if I tag an image, it  seems that tagging is only good for filtering within that folder and not in all my folders. If Bridge can do this, I need to learn how, and I'd appreciate any tips. But if not, does anyone know a good program that can handle this?

Despite followinmg instruction from a very helpful Gary and checking and checking that everything was done correctly and according to his instruction I still cannot view my desktop in Bridge 2020- I can however view everything else.Gary mentioned this ia an Apple issue but seriously Adobe you need to get this sorted - I just want this to work- I've been using Bridge since it started. It's inexcusable that subscribers must do workarounds because Apple and Adobe work things outThank You  

Tengo problemas de Bridge dede hace como 6 meses despues de una actualización, todos los dias tengo que estar firmando para entrar a Creative Cloud, todos los dias se actualiza, puedo abrir Photoshop y trabajar sin problemas con esa aplicación, si abro Bridge se congela y photoshop tarda en cada comando que le doy, no se puede trabajar con los dos programas abiertos, por separado trabajan bien, ya he buscado soluciones y no encuentro una carpeta que dicen esta en Bridge (OOBE) que dicen quitando su contenido se soluciona este problema.Agradesco cualquier ayuda que puedan prestarme ya estoy muy cansado de trabajar sin la sincrinia de los dos programas

A Member on my team is having issues with transferring images from his Mac (10.14.6) to a Server when using Bridge (10.1.1.166).  He can easily transfer images to the server within Finder and the images are fine on the server, but when using Brdge his File Permissions are modifiying during the transfer. We have Reinstalled BridgeReset the Prefs (Command+Option+Shift key)Tested formats (all bad)Verified the same issue does not exist on two alternate computers Are there any known bugs or solutions for Permissions modifying during file transfer through Bridge? Thanks!

I am a photographer and I have thousands of folders named as follows: Kim Kardashian 9.11.20 (Name of model)(Date of shoot).I have a frequent need to sort among a large number of folders so that I can see what recent work is outstanding.For the last several years I've been using a separate third party database systems to create sorting fields by date.   It's ridiculously laborious and expensive.  Isn't there some way to better manage my workflow with Bridge?  This seems a simple enough and obviously needed kind of function.  In an ideal world I'd be able to see folders arrayed by name of model OR by date of shoot.  It'd be very useful to be able to store things like models' proper name vs nickname, social media account info, email, phone number.  I'd love to be able to flag folders so that I can see which shoots I've completed all the work for and which have outstanding work.  These all seem incredibly basic needs for photographers.  COuld anyone
