Bridge

We have two iMacs (OS 10.15.5) both with newest Bridge versions (10.1.1.166). One works as a server containing all the image data. From this I've been working writing keywords and captions the last three weeks without any problem. Now I switched to the other iMac and get the information "error whil writing metadata" (in german). I checkt all the User rights, all is fine. No chance to add anything to the Metadata of the pictures.More strange: Returning to the Server iMac it didn't work either!! No changins at the files possible. always: "no access". After closing bridge onboth computers and restarting the server i could use bridge again, but still no access from the other iMac.Last year I got the information Bridge does not work in Networks, but looking here in the discussions I see it should work! 

Hi, i have a client who would like an export of images but in jpegs not pdf. Is there a way of exporting them in the same way to a jpeg? eg 4 pictures laid out in one jpeg? thanks

Hello, I hope everyone is doing great. I have a question about Adobe Bridge. I will explain my question. I want to change the gamma value in a batch of photos on Photoshop but as far as I know i can only do that one at a time. Is it possible to use bridge to (copy/paste) that change in all the photos that I want?Thank you for your help. PS- I have the latest version of both Photoshop and Bride.  

Each time I try to download pictures to Bridge using Photo Downloader, it freezes after the first 25 - 35 files. Pressing 'stop' has no effect - button just greys out. I can also see there is no CPU or memory being consumed.  This is a brand new Bridge install on a brand new PC:Windows 10 Pro, 64GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 3960X CPU, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Graphics cardBridge V10.1.1.166 - clean install, no changes to preferences madeOption to convert to DNG selectedCamera is Nikon D850, downloading from SD card via USB3 Card Reader I have tried connecting the card reader directly to PC (rather than over USB hub), and also tried going directly to local drive rather than to Synology NAS. Also tried restarting PC. 

I have just installed Adobe Bridge 2020 on a new Win10 laptop after my Macbook Pro was murdered via Orange Juice (I'm still in mourning). Apart from hating Windows, it seems Adobe Bridge 2020 in Windows doesn't work at all. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times. No image files show a preview, all files are marked as "Binary Documents", no files can be opened (RAW or JPEG), all previews are empty grey boxes with a lighter-grey padlock showing. Is anyone else having similar problems?   {Thread renamed by moderator}

I recently moved all my images (partially keyworded) to a new folder that gets backed up to an online service.I wnet to search by keyword today and it seems that none of the images now have keywords! The keyword XML file is still present. I thought the keywords for an image were in the metadata so why can it no longer find them?

I downloaded free version of Adobe Bridge and was able to use camera raw for photo editing, but suddenly it stopped opening files in camera with message "Bridge's parent application is not active"? I do not use Photo shop. Any help? else programme is working fine.

Adobe Bridge wont open for me. The task manager shows it running then it suspends. I have performed disk clean ups, optimizations, diasabling start up applications etc. I am on the latest version of Bridge and windows 10. I also tried installing an earlier version of bridge but nothing changed. I noticed that "Razor Synapse" does the same thing Any help would be appreciated. Bridge is essential to my worflow organization.

Is there a setting to enable auto preview of most recent image when using Bridge for tethered shooting?  As of now, the new image appears in bridge film strip, but I have to select it in order to preview.Thanks for your help!

Recently I belatedly registered on Photoshop CC 2020 from CC2017 and a lot of updates were actioned, including to Bridge 2020.  But now, when I try to open pics I took yesterday from Bridge, it won't open them because it says it can't find Adobe 2017.  Not surprising, as I deleted it after the upgrades.  Is there any solution to this?

Please Help!! I've used PS for years and saved many, many collections that I need but they are all gone after an upgrade. Can I get them back???  I am using Bridge version 10.0.0.124. I've had other issues with Bridge crashing but I think it was because I wasn't using the correct version. I found that I have 3 versions , 2019, and 2020). Can I delete the old ones? Or will I lose any information if I do? Same with Photoshop CC, I have Photoshop 2018, 2019, and 2020. Can I delete the old versions?  Please help me get my collections back in Bridge!! I am totally lost without them! Thank you!!!!

Since Bridge CC2018, my metadata templets within Adobe Bridge do not sort properly anymore but are listed at random (tools - attach metadata). Where / how can I sort the templets within this Adobe Bridge window? When I change to the folder, where the templets are stored, they are nicely in alphabetical and numerical order, so this is not the source of the problem. I am working on Mac pro touch 13" 2017.Thanks for any help.

Je ne peux plus enregistrer ma photo une fois modifiee et la classer à coté de la photo originale dans Dossier, Il n'y a plus d'option enregistrer au bas de la fenêtre espace de travail et je suis obliger de passer par exporter, ce n'est pas pratique, y a t il une autre solution?

I have just upgraded to Adobe Bridge 10.1.1.666There is no longer a  New Keyword button. Any ideas?

In Bridge, if I rotate the image (jpeg), it will not open rotated that way in Photoshop.  I've done this before and it's suddenly not working (likely since 2020 update).  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Thumbnails for CR2 files not displaying in Bridge since latest update, purged cache and disabled all scripts, latest NVidia studio driver loaded.

Bridge 10.1.1.166  will not let me select show items in subfolders. All my drives are external usb conected . This use to work

I have been using bridge for over two years and ony ran into this problem today for the first time. While batch renaming my photos, I noticed I have had a number of photos come out as a different file than they went in as, meaning I now have some photos that were .CR2 that now show as jpeg files, and vice versa. Even the medata reflects this, so the only way I am able to tell them apart is by looking at the file size. Files that were originally CR2s that now show as jpg are mostly around 20MB, while the files that have become CR2 range around 6MB. What happened and how do I reverse this??

hello everybody.i'm experiencing quite an unusual problem in the bridge's file info panel (cc 2018 edition): when i click on the folder button and all existing info file templates appear, they do not sort out in alphabetical order or any chronological order at all. here's a screenshot.strange thing is this only happens on my macbook pro, while other devices do not create any problems at all.

In preview -  I see previews of my photos one at a time by clicking the right arrow.I would like the photos to stop at the last photo and not continue scrolling through to the 1st photo in the folder.

Random images in my folder I just uploaded are rotated and can't be rotated or opened in camera raw. 

I tried to help my sister in bridge today and found her commands different from mine and we have the same version number. I can go to Tools and then photoshop and btach edit. When she goes to tools photoshop is not an option instead it says something like Create from collection in PS. Anybody have any idea why the two would be different even tho they show the same version number?

Well, that’s it, it’s practically impossible to use Adobe Bridge, and it’s been a while. I have already uninstalled, used previous versions or upgraded to new ones and none of this solves the problem.I have a Windows 10 desktopNVIDIA GTX 1060 6gbi7 7700 processorAnd installed on an SSDI believe it was not supposed to be crashing the way it is ... And that only happens at Bridge.Few things I do it is like "Not responding" 

Why does Adobe Bridge use over 20% CPU continually.IT kills my laptops performance. I use windows10 on 64 bit laptop with 16GB Ram and i7 quadcore processor. Lightroom CC will also run inexcess of 15% cpu. How can I fix this?
