Bridge

Exactly how is it helpful that Bridge has keyboard number 1 through 9 and short cuts to go through images 1 through 9 of the current folder in current sorting?Meaning, the purpose of Bridge is to go through your shots and rate or label them.  A shoot often has 250 to 1500 shots.  If you mistype CTRL-9 to label an image as just 9 (CTRL doesn't click) you LOOSE YOUR PLACE in the current view, and annoyingly go to image 9 out of the 250.WHEN was it ever helpful to have shortcuts for images 1 through 9 as numbers 1 through 9?  WHO ever had a photo shoot with only ten images say, and needed a shortcut to go to image 5 instead of just clicking the image?

So I have renamed a bunch of images in Bridge, but when i use the export function to convert them to TIF (TIFF for some reason) they do not retain the renaming of the file. This is a big problem, and I see no option that can be checked to even do what it is doing (it gives it a filename i have not assigned nor can i find where it lists what it is changing it to) please help ASAP Aaron

in preview when i am viewing photos i would like the photos to stop at the last photo and not continue scrolling through to the 1st photo in the folder

All my image previews are blurry unless i view them at 100%. The issue is the same no matter what machine I'm using. I've tried to change every software preview setting in the prefs but it doesn't change anything. I've read old posts back to 2015 where this same issue is pointed out, seems like a never ending bug or something. I'm forced to use another image browser like the trusted ACDSee in order to view my thumbnails crisp and clear. Bridge is falling way behind even the simplest of image viewers. Bridge 10.0.3.138W10

Getting this error:     The Operation could not be completed.         An unknown operating system error has occured. I have Catalina but have not updated to the 10.15.6 yet 

When I try to download and install Bridge, it takes me to a sign in page for Creative Cloud - I fill in my email and password, and it says I have been logged out, then asks for my email and password again, and says I have been logged out - over and over and over and over and over again . . . . . 

Buongiorno,premette che uso questo prodotto da molto tempo quindi che che descriverò lo rilevo dall'ultima versione installata: Primo problema da quando è stato aggiornanto all'ultima versione non viene piu lanciato in automatico da Windows ( autoplay che permette l'avvio automatico di Br ho controllato che sia configurato correttamente) infatti prima dell aggiornamento funzionava perfettamente. Secondo problema sempre inerente a Br ogni volta che lo devo avviare manualmente si comporta come se fosse il primo avvio non si ricorda le opzioni che indicato ( pannello avanzato, directory di lavoro, copyrights etc) anche questo prima dell aggiornamento funzionava. . Ho provato a disinstalalre ed reinstallare ma senza successo. Potreste cortesemente aiutarmi? Grazie Roberto

First the new Bridge does not have the file names under each image. I am using Bridge 9.1, which recently had an update that renders the search function useless. It takes me to Adobe stock. I don't want Adobe stock, I want RedRockLanding. Hence, when I am searching for an image, I can't find it. Please undo this terrible change. I have used Bridge for years. I have recommended it to others.

Hello does anyone know if there is a way to take a pdf contact sheet from bridge and export the images from the sheet back to their separate files again? Preferably naming every exported pdf as the filenames of the image that was embedded in the content sheet.

A month ago I posted a letter addressed to the CEO of Adobe, the CFP, and the Chief Engineer that the latest version of bridge did not include file names. Also, I could not highlight and change the file names or numbers.  I was hoping that someone would pay attention. Not. The newest upgrade still does not include file names. How does one search for an image if one does not remember the file name or DCS number? Bridge is no longer workable.  Using 2019 version. Quinta Scott

When I chose to sort by date created the files are displayed in the opposite direction inside Bridge. In other words the most current additions are placed at the bottom of the list inside the folder and the oldest comes first, instead of the opposite way like it should. This annoying error started about one week ago. W10Bridge 10.1.1

I am haveing problems with some of my tiff files taking keywords and copyright information in Bridge. If the file is smaller the 1 gigabyte then Bridge is able to to post my keywords and coyright information no problem. So I have been trying to keep my medium format scans to less then 1 gigabyte. However my 4x5, large format scans are about 1.4 to 1.5 gigabytes. Sometimes Bridge will put keywords and copywright information in the file other times it does nothing. I was having one of the Adobe people on line try to fix the issue and he came back and said it is a bug in the software. I hope you fix this real soon. You have had this problem for at least serveral years. I am planning on scanning a bunch of more 4x5 and would like to be able to keywords and copyright information on each one of these images. If someone has a fix for this problem I would be interest in it. Thanks Byron

I have thumbnails for PSD and JPG files, but not for TIFF or raw files.  I tried Ctrl+shift+alt to reset preferences, but it doesn't bring up the dialogue for that.  I've also purged the cache to no avail. 

Would Bridge be a good solution to set up photo library over a network that can be updated and modified with everyone on the network?

We have two iMacs (OS 10.15.5) both with newest Bridge versions (10.1.1.166). One works as a server containing all the image data. From this I've been working writing keywords and captions the last three weeks without any problem. Now I switched to the other iMac and get the information "error whil writing metadata" (in german). I checkt all the User rights, all is fine. No chance to add anything to the Metadata of the pictures.More strange: Returning to the Server iMac it didn't work either!! No changins at the files possible. always: "no access". After closing bridge onboth computers and restarting the server i could use bridge again, but still no access from the other iMac.Last year I got the information Bridge does not work in Networks, but looking here in the discussions I see it should work! 

Hi, i have a client who would like an export of images but in jpegs not pdf. Is there a way of exporting them in the same way to a jpeg? eg 4 pictures laid out in one jpeg? thanks

Hello, I hope everyone is doing great. I have a question about Adobe Bridge. I will explain my question. I want to change the gamma value in a batch of photos on Photoshop but as far as I know i can only do that one at a time. Is it possible to use bridge to (copy/paste) that change in all the photos that I want?Thank you for your help. PS- I have the latest version of both Photoshop and Bride.  

Each time I try to download pictures to Bridge using Photo Downloader, it freezes after the first 25 - 35 files. Pressing 'stop' has no effect - button just greys out. I can also see there is no CPU or memory being consumed.  This is a brand new Bridge install on a brand new PC:Windows 10 Pro, 64GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 3960X CPU, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Graphics cardBridge V10.1.1.166 - clean install, no changes to preferences madeOption to convert to DNG selectedCamera is Nikon D850, downloading from SD card via USB3 Card Reader I have tried connecting the card reader directly to PC (rather than over USB hub), and also tried going directly to local drive rather than to Synology NAS. Also tried restarting PC. 

I have just installed Adobe Bridge 2020 on a new Win10 laptop after my Macbook Pro was murdered via Orange Juice (I'm still in mourning). Apart from hating Windows, it seems Adobe Bridge 2020 in Windows doesn't work at all. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times. No image files show a preview, all files are marked as "Binary Documents", no files can be opened (RAW or JPEG), all previews are empty grey boxes with a lighter-grey padlock showing. I recently moved all my images (partially keyworded) to a new folder that gets backed up to an online service.I wnet to search by keyword today and it seems that none of the images now have keywords! The keyword XML file is still present. I thought the keywords for an image were in the metadata so why can it no longer find them?

I downloaded free version of Adobe Bridge and was able to use camera raw for photo editing, but suddenly it stopped opening files in camera with message "Bridge's parent application is not active"? I do not use Photo shop. Any help? else programme is working fine.

Adobe Bridge wont open for me. The task manager shows it running then it suspends. I have performed disk clean ups, optimizations, diasabling start up applications etc. I am on the latest version of Bridge and windows 10. I also tried installing an earlier version of bridge but nothing changed. I noticed that "Razor Synapse" does the same thing Any help would be appreciated. Bridge is essential to my worflow organization.

Is there a setting to enable auto preview of most recent image when using Bridge for tethered shooting?  As of now, the new image appears in bridge film strip, but I have to select it in order to preview.Thanks for your help!
