I have Adobe Bridge V15. Sometimes when I do a full screen view by pressing the spacebar, then it won't go back in the normal view even on pressing ESC or space bar or any other key. I have to Force Quit this application. It needs to be fixed. It has happened to me quite often.

Hi everybody,I want to have Dublin Core metadata in my templates, and have Bridge recognize the Dublin Core metadata that's been added by other programs. Does anybody know how to do this?Thank you!

Hello. RE: Photos and videos downloaded from iPhone 14 on a Mac Studio max computer. First, I apply permissions to all in folder- I don't know if that is neccessary, but it's a habit to avoid hang-ups with Bridge. Then I append Meta-Data from template list. Never had a problem with this, but now Bridge is acting irratically applying data to some files but not others- option is grayed out. In fact yesterday, I posted a problem with Bridge changing half the files to the wrong creation date and showing the wrong images on teh thumbnail previews. This is a real problem as I need to scrub through video thumbnails and rely on a real "creation date" time-line to save time in production. This also affects and distracts creativity. Every thing is new and up to date. why is all this happening?

Opening Bridge might result in immediate PC crach OR after few files browsed. Photoshop does NOT create reboots (I disabled in Prefrences the use of GPU acceleration inf Photoshop) and it did not help. GPU:   NVDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER with 566.03 driver from 10/22/2024 (issue existed in previous version too)OS:  Win 11 Pro, 10.0.26100 Build 26100  

I've been using Bridge professionally for over 20 years. One question has always baffled me. Why does Bridge create new previews when a set of images is reopened? It might not do if reopened immediately but it does if I open it the next day for instance. I always thought it was because the cache was being held on my main drive but recently got a M.2 SSD drive fitted to solely store bridges cache to see if it would help and it doesn't. I've read every tutorial and guide for the preferences settings.I have a cache size of 500GB and have barely used 50 GB in the month it's been fitted so it isn't full. I have "Keep 100% Previews" marked and to purge after 90 days.I work with large RAW sets for weddings and just feel that Bridge makes for more work than it need for itself and its been like this for decades. Even asking it to view the embedded previews doesn't help.I understand that if I'm viewing the set for the first time or if the set changes in some way then a new preview would be neede

Hi Community, the title says it all. Is there a way to make a smart collection part of a fixed collection? Drag and drop does not seem work. Background: usually I create a basic smart collection about an event. The selection criteria is based on a specific keyword. And every now and then I need to extend this basic collection with some more selected shots for other customers. Adding this specific keyword is no solution - afterwards I will have to remember the added shots and have to remove the keyword.Adding another temporary keyword is no solution as well - keyword handling in Bridge is as challening as brain surgery.... it's just too easy to mess them all up. So I strictly want to avoid unnecessary operational keywords. My idea was to just temporarily create a fixed collection, add the smart basic collection, and add some more selected shots for my purpose. When I don't need the fixed collection any more I just delete it. No keyword messing up, the basic smart col

Using Bridge 15.0., Mac mini M1 chip. When I use the space bar to go into full screen the preveiw zooms in and out by itself. What am I doing wrong here? 

Dear forum, I can't believe we are back at this. My biggest frustration with Bridge is that it sometimes decides not to load thumbnails or previews. At least 4 times per year this malefunctions. Should this not be a very easy fix ADOBE? Again I need to check the chache, the memory, uninstall ... install. I am not asking for much here. Oh yeah, thanks for letting me vent, but lets FIX this. Simon 

Latest version of Bridge CC 8.0.1.282 x64 on Windows 7 machine won't let me rename, move or delete WAV or MOV files!  If I attempt to delete from Windows explorer I get a message  that  the operation cannot be performed because the file is open in dynamiclinkmediaserver.exe!If I go to task manager and kill the process (which is taking up a huge amount of resources) I can then work with the file, but Lightroom Classic CC or Bridge CC will not play any video files until both are restarted.  Any ideas??

Bonjour, Depuis hier, tous les mots-clés et sous mots-clés ont disparus de Bridge.  Dans le dossier "Bridge 2024" le fichier "Adobe Bridge Keywords.xml" est daté de hier "‎créé le : mardi ‎5 ‎novembre ‎2024, ‏‎08:25:45" et dans le dossier "Bridge 2025" le fichier "Adobe Bridge Keywords.xml" est daté de maintenant "‎crée le : mercredi ‎6 ‎novembre ‎2024, ‏‎11:02:31" Je ne comprends pas, on dirait que la mise à jour a écrasée mon fichier contenant l'arborescence des mots-clés.  Il ne reste que les mots-clés par défaut.  Comment faire ?  merci !!  

Hi All I have been having long chats with Adobe Technical and have now had it confirmed that Adobe Bridge 2025 (and probably previous versions) does not support the H265 4.2.0 10-bit LongGOP 200 Mpbs CODEC. In Bridge it just displays the generic video icon. In contrast, the MP4 files show the video thumbnail correctly. This codec is used by a number of models in the Panasonic LUMIX range as well as other manufacturers. In my case, I have the LUMIX S1R. This then begs the question. What are the chances of Adobe supporting this CODEC in the future in Bridge?  On a final note, this CODEC is supported for Windows 11 and Lightroom Classic but not Bridge. Thanks Duncan

Hello.One of the things I like about Lighroom is the ability to see an actual map of the location a photo was taken. Oddly Bridge CC does not seem to have this ability and I would think that I am not alone in thinking that this would be really useful and not have to go back and forth between apps. Is there a way for this to happen? As mentioned, Lightroom and even Apple Photos displays a map view? using the most current versions of CC as of 10/30/24Jonathan

Hi! I am trying to see a collection of Tiff files from a folder using the slideshow function in Bridge 2025. The photos transition from one another correctly and smoothly but then, for just about half a second, the application shows a reduced version of the photo in the middle of the "projection" area, reassuming the correct displaying format next. This happens with every single photo. It is quite annoying and it ruins the whole experience. I've tried selecting "Centred", "Scaled to Fit" and "Scaled to Fiil", under "When Presenting the Slides" options, with and without "Black Out Additional Monitors" option selected, always with the same result. Any ideas? Thanks. AK

What I want to do in Bridge is simply to open folders containing photos and then view thumbnails of the photos. I used to do this all the time with the older version. Please tell me how to perform this simple task with this damn new version!

I am using Bridge 14.1.3 on an iMac with Intel 2020 i7 chip, Radeon Pro 5700 16 gig GPU, 96 gigs of ram  on Sequoia 15.1 In Smart Collections; when I open an image into PS 2024, do my edits, then save back to original folder, the new edits do not show on the image in the Smart Collection. I have to click Reveal In Bridge, then re add the keyword for that collection (the keyword is there but I have to delete it then re add it) then it updates in the Smart Collection, this step does not work from within the Smart Collection. Should it not be updating as I work?Note: I am not adding another image, I am editing an existing .psd image. If I add a watermark or adjustment layer I then have to do the extra steps of reveal in bridge, change something in keywords, then it shows the watermark or adjustment layer on the image within the Smart Collection.

metadata.applyMetadataTemplate() works in Bridge 12, the same code is broken in newer versions. I rely on this for several scripts, can this be fixed maybe?
