Where would I go to view the “hidden images” - I use bridge to do all camera raw adjustments before taking to photoshop. I use a card reader & do not download all images on card to bridge. I view from my card but it seems to be hiding images more frequently. How can I access these or resolve them from going in hiding? 🙂
Modified date does not work since recent updates... of course maybe it just here on this mac... does anyone have an idea?
Hello! The html panels are working good until I pressed the space key(full screen). After that the extensions stop working. I have a custom panel I changed the type of extension in manifest file to <Type>Embedded</Type> . If I changed the type to Modeless it works perfectly.I tried with other computers and the issue remains the same.Even the official extensions have this problem since version 8.1! The 8.0 is the only version that doesn´t have this issue.
Apparently the use a wasted space in Bridge is carrying over to the forum now.Instead of seeing many topics at once, now we have to endlessly scroll? Why do so many designers now think extra padding/leading is such a good thing?

Hi,I recently opened Bridge, applied a filter to a selection of pictures and now want to save all of those images as new JPEG Files. In the past I would go to Tools>Photoshop>Image Processor. However, there now doesn't seem to be that option and when I search Image Processor in the Help Bar there are no results. What has happened to the Image Processor and are there new ways around it?Thanks,JackBridge Version: 9.1.0.338OS: MacOS Mojave 10.14.6Original Post 21st August 2019
Dear forum,I created a TabbedPalette and now want it to add automatically on start up. My first attempt was to add it to the ‘Startup Scripts’ folder, but this, obviously, didn’t work so I reread the documentation more carefully and found out that this should be done using the create document event. You can add a palette to an existing browser window at any time (as long as the identifier is unique), andyou can use the create document event to add your palette to new browser windows on creation.(Bridge CS6 scripting reference, page 87)Here’s a snippet illustrating the problem:onCreateDocument = function(event) { if (event.object instanceof Document && event.type == "create") { $.writeln("Document is created"); CreateTabbedPalette(); return {handled: true}; }}app.eventHandlers.push({handler: onCreateDocument});function
I have no clue what the reason behind this problem might be. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling CC, clearing preferences, the registry, and I've made sure all drivers are up to date. No such problems occur with other CC apps. I attempted to use older versions of Bridge, but the problems persisted. When I tried 8.1, it started, but basic functionality caused it to crash.I see no obvious solution to this, I'll be glad for any help.
Version 1 of my Utility Script Pack for Bridge is available on Adobe Exchange. I have been working on a major update which is now close to feature-complete and is ready for testing. Version 2.0 contains eight utility scripts and a settings preference panel. The entire script pack is open source freeware released under the Apache 2.0 license. ---------- - Batch adds the Tools->Photoshop->Batch command to the Bridge contextual menu - FilenametoTitle copies the filename (stripping the file extension) to the Title metadata field - FindinCollections searches all collections for a selected file and returns a list of found collections. The file can be removed from any collections if desired. - FolderListExport saves a tab-delimited text file of the current folder contents. Metadata categories to include can be set in the preference panel. - JPEGMultiexport is a replacement for the old Export panel from Bridge CS5 and earlier. - Key
When starting Bridge it takes 15 sec. to initiate the previews and Bridge is hanging. If I disable the firewall, everything is ok. Bridge starts at once.I have tried differnet settings in the firewall program vith no success. Can anoyone advice me what settings Ishall use and which programs are affected?
I've had to switch my iphone to capture heic/hevc, because when I windows copy/paste from my phone to my desktop, I was having issues with the copy failing. I have a converter from the heic->jpeg I use as part of this process, but I'd like to not have to convert all the hevc/h265 video.Am I correct in thinking that Bridge is STILL unable to preview this codec? Is there any ETA on this? Thanks.
According to the scripting guide:A script should wait until the loaded event has occurredbefore making calls to document selection methods.Sounds good to me, but how do I "wait" for this event?
? I have four different Bridge CC Cache folders in my library (Mac). One is them is taking up 85 GB in disk space. WHY???
I currently have all of my photos in bridge, I've starred the ones that I like.Is there a way for me to create a contact sheet, with the file names as well as to show the amount of stars i gave that image? Thanks everyone!
I am using the latest version of CC and autofill in the file info section in bridge is no longer working. Does anyone know if that facility has been removed or if it is possible to restore it and how? Thank you.Really need it to be solved, as it majorly impacts my workflow. I catalog thousands of images a week using bridge and it is extremely time consuming to have to re-type metadata again and again. Of course, I know how to add identical metadata to multiple files, but that isn't always practical, as certain images that need certain metadata may not be right next to one another or even in the same folder.PLEASE fix this soon Adobe!Message was edited by: Akash Sharma
I know that using (e.g.) After effects I can type something like:afterfx.exe -r "c:\myDocuments\Scripts\Script Name with Spaces.jsx"to run the Name With Spaces jsx file from the command line. However, it doesn't seem to work for Bridge:"C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Bridge CC 2019/Bridge.exe" - r "C:/Users/UserName/Documents/temp/sample_com.jsx"just opens bridge and doesn't call my script. How do I run the sample_com.jsx from the command line? Thanks
Can metadata from Microsoft Digital Image Suite not automatically transferred to Bridge (ie Title & Comments) be incorporated ?The Title & Comments were input via properties in the Microsoft Suite.
Metadata input via properties in Microsoft Digital Image Suite automatically transfers to Bridge. Title & Comments do not appear. Can this be rectified?
“Bridge has encountered a problem with the display driver and has disabled GPU rendering.”I get this error message every time I start Bridge. Using software rendering makes previewing images impossibly slow and unusable. In preferences, Use Software Rendering is greyed out.If I reset preferences on startup it will fix the problem temporarily, but as soon as Bridge is closed and opened again, I get that same damn error message. I’m using ver. 9.0.2.219 x64. I’ve upgraded my display driver and tried disabling all but essential startup programs. This problem only started with Bridge 2019. 2018 worked fine.I’ve seen other discussions on this error but with no solution so far. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I know how to apply CRDefault or CRPrevious settings to images using ExtendScript as menuIDs for these (and other develop settings) are given in the Javascript reference doc accompanying the Bridge SDK.Now, I have marked a few of my ACR develop settings as favourites in ACR and these are now available as additional submenu items in Bridge. How do I find the menuIDs of these new options so I can apply them programmatically?ThanksSteve C

I downloaded a zip file for an online class i'm doing. This zip file contained .CR2 files to work on for the class. Except, when i open Bridge to see the files, everything is .dng. is there something in my software that's converting them, even though i haven't opened them in any adobe software other than Bridge yet?Message was edited by: Akash Sharma
I would like to browse my files using the camera created JPEGs, the same way you do in Photo Mechanic for example. Is it possible in Bridge or am I forced to see the dull RAW files? Thank you! {Thread renamed by moderator}
If I wanted to open a file I will use the regular explorer. Adobe Bridge is software for folders, we use it to work with folders and preview files. I would expect a 'recent folders' under the 'open recent' instead of just 'recent files'.Message was edited by: Sahil Chawla
