I just ran into an issue I've never seen before. I use Bridge to load groups of raw images into photoshop layers for stacking -- using tools, photoshop, load as layers. I had to edit a person out of the images this time in ACR (have done so before) and when the layers arrived in photoshop they were the unedited versions. When I've done this in the past the edited versions loaded. Naturally the resulting stack included the person I had removed, Have one of the recent CC upgrades changed this export/handoff process and if so where is the setting that needs to be modified?
Hi I have upgraded Adobe Bridge to CC2017 and installed the output module but im getting a couple of errors which I believe they are not related. When I first open the app I'm getting a TypeError: Undefined is not an object and a series of lines with a code. When I click ok, it opens but then when I try to save I'm getting an error "There is insufficient disk space to complete this operation" which is not the case, I have about 600Gb space available in my HD. Tried resource online but I can't find an exact answer maybe someone here has encountered the same situation. Any ideas? Regards,
Als ik op "bestand" click licht "openen in camera raw" niet opWAT moet/kan ik doen?Alvast bedankt voor jullie antwoorden
Long story short, I made a folder with shortcuts of all projects (mostly InDesign) I needed to review, and I opened bridge for quick preview, but no luck, just generic file icons (just like in Windows Explorer). My question is, is there a way to preview shortcuts (to files) in Adobe Bridge? Addendum: I tried it on my PC (with only Bridge installed) and on a colleague PC (that has most of CC apps installed, including InDesign), same problem. In both cases we tried to preview (working) shortcuts from both files on internal and external hard drive.
I am having an issue adding labels (and occasionally metadata) to files in Bridge. I selected all of these photos, but the label only appeared on some. I purged the cache and restarted Bridge. I tried to add them again, but they still won't appear. Bridge is up to date. I am working on a Mac (Sierra, v 10.12.1) and the files are on a server. The drive is an external drive connected to my Windows machine. I'm able to read and write to the drive. Please let me know what other information might be helpful. Thanks!I just moved the external drive to my Mac and now I cannot add any information to the drive. I'm assuming it's because it's NTFS and I don't have software like Paragon/Tuxera, etc. I'm confused though because when it was connected to the Windows computer, I was able to add some metadata and labels.
Hi, I've been Adobe Bridge web gallery user for many years by now. In local Win and Os web browser these gallerys worked until 13. Sept and then the new Security update for Adobe Flash Player revealed. After this update no previous albums nor new albums open up. Clicking to file “indx.html" I'm directed to web browser but the window remains white and the gallery won't open. Could somebody explain me what's wrong?'regardSven Meresmaa
Let's say I want to find all the JPEGs and RAW on my computer as long as the filename doesn't include "IMG".This simple task is impossible in bridge because the only options are "find if any" or "find if all". Find "if any" will end up finding all the files on my computer not containing IMG (which includes all files that aren't JPEG or RAW), and the find "if all" returns nothing because no files are both JPEG and RAW.I know this is possible in apple finder and it seems like a no brainer.finder - How to create a spotlight search for all files inside a folder? - Ask Different How can I do this with Bridge? If I can't then this is definitely a formal feature request. Thanks
I just bought a new Canon 80D and I shot a bunch of stuff in raw and Bridge CS5 wont show the photos. Is CS5 too old and if so, is there a way to fix this with out buying upgraded programs?
I'm trying to create a contact sheet so select my images in Bridge then go to Tools > Photoshop > Contact Sheet II (as this article told me to do). But then Photoshop seems to think no images have been selected. Doesn't matter whether I select 1 or 100, same thing comes up. I've never used Bridge before - am I missing something?
I get an error everytime that I want to apply an preset effect from the bridge to a clip on AE. it reads:"Can't import file....." Unsupported file type or extension.
Bridge CC (2017) Mac OS 10.11.6This started with a recent update but not the latest. If I deleted a files in Bridge it will hang around in a ghost form (I can see it but I can not open it) for about 20-60 seconds. A good long while for sure. In addition, if new files are added to a folder say through tethered shooting or Image Processor, the files take awhile to show up in the Bridge Content. The files will be there if i look through the OS finder. Both parts are frustrating.I called tech support and after trying things, I was told just to use my OS finder. This is not an acceptable solution. This is how the software is supposed to work. any help is appreciated.

I'm running Mac OSX 10.11.5 and recently encourage issue were I'm unable to delete any file from the local hard drive. I can see below error.
Photoshop 2015 CC V. 2015114.r.301x64Bridge CC V. 6.2.0.179x64Acrobat Pro DC V. 2015.020.20042Above is what I'm using. Using Bridge, I bring a 1280x720 .bmp image into Photoshop and the photo is very clear. No matter what view in Bridge I use (Essentials, Filmstrip, Output, etc.) the image appears to be compressed and loses fine details. When using the output option in Bridge to create a PDF (Acrobat), this loss of detail is also present, however, when I click on the the PDF the detail pops into view but casts a tinted look to the entire image? When using a colleagues work station, this does not happen and the image doesn't appear compressed.
I have a huge database of photos in various subfolders. I can check search sub folders and it will show those, but it will not show the photos in the sub folders of the sub folders. It will only show the actual folder and I would like it to show the contents. How can I make this happen??? Do I have to setup my whole organization system again to work around that or what??Thank you for any ideas, trying to make searching by keywords as easy as possible for all my coworkers also searching the files. -Megan
I have a Nikon D750 and am unable to view RAW files within Adobe Bridge CS5. I only see the NEF thumbnail and not the photo. When trying to open the RAW files I get the following error message:Could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw.Please visit the Camera Raw help documentation for additional information.I've tried updating my version of Camera Raw with 7.1 per Adobe's website, but it says I need to update my Adobe Application Manager. I try to update this but from the following link: Adobe - Adobe Application Manager : For MacintoshHowever, I receive the following error message:Adobe Application Manager may be damaged. Download and install a new copy of Adobe Application Manager. So, I tried it again but received the same error message.I feel like this is just going in circles. I'm not sure what to do here, but I absolutely need a solution quick as I need to be able to view/e
Bridge won't even launch for me since I updated to 2017. Well let me correct that. it launches around 5 minutes after I click the icon (not exaggerating). Then it sits, unusable, so long I finally open task manager and close it.Since the 2017 update I've had to install previous versions of Photoshop and now I'm installing bridge cc.What's going on with this? every version it gets worse. Then After Effects gets the 2017 update and it's phenomenal. I can work MUCH faster now in AE than before, but not the same with Photoshop and bridge. bridge has been getting terrible for a long time, and it stinks because I rely on it heavily. Ever since 2016 update it's gotten much slower, hangs more often and just plain sucks to use.Is there anything that can be done to stop these problems? I can't be the only one struggling but i didn't see anyone complaining about Bridge
A problem with Adobe Bridge. Used via Creative Cloud on Windows 10. Photoshop seems to be working fine. I got lots of help from an Adobe expert and finally fixed the problem - Bridge (2017) refusing to open - by reinstalling Bridge (2015). I'll be perfectly happy to continue like this, but I pressed update, expecting it to update Bridge 2015 but it reinstalled B2017 instead. I can't now find a way of installing Bridge (2015). Is this possible please?
Just subscribed to CC and finding it hard to navigate. All the things I did in PS CS6 automatically are different with this version. How do I sync my camera with cc or bridge in this version?
I have done EVERYTHING. I am currently on chat with Adobe Customer Care (what a joke) and I still can't "right-click" on a jpg, png, tiff, etc. and set Bridge as my default program. I can make Photoshop my default app for photos, but I can't get Bridge to work. I am working on a Windows 7. It doesn't seem like a Windows problem because all other Adobe apps work fine when I set them as a default app. Also, it worked fine before the update. Does anyone have a solution that doesn't involve doing these steps? I also tried the file associations in Control Panel > Programs > Default Programs. It's the same dialog so it was pointless to try.It still doesn't show up as a program I can "use" to open this file. Yet, I can easily view pictures in it, I just have to go the long way to find them or copy and paste the location in Bridge.
I'm on a MacBook OSX Yosemite V. 10.10.4I did have an iPhone 5c I had always used Bridges' "get photos from camera" to download photos from my phone. But after my phone took a dip in a river & was no behaving properly. Bridge no longer wanted to recognize photos so I assumed it's inability to work with Bridge had to do with electrical malfunctions caused by the water getting into my phone.I've since then upgraded to iPhone 7 plus, same Macbook (with Yosemite OS) and I'm getting the same message. At first the message shows: device is locked (even when it isn't). Alternately, whether I unlock my phone or not, I get the message "This device does not contain any supported media."I ONLY ever use Bridge as I work exclusively within Creative Suite for all of my design work. And I went to the oPhone 7 so I could streamline suing the better camera along with my usual preferred workflow. How can I get my work to flow? I can access my photos without jumping through time consuming cloud
EVER SINCE I UPDATED MY MAC BOOK PRO BRIDGE NO LONGER RECOGNIZES MY CANON 5D MARK III. PHOTO SHOP DOES BUT WILL NOT RECOGNIZE RAW FILES.
Hi, I have run Bridge with latest camera raw and OSX since a few years and I have basically used the same size sensor on my camera but the generating thumbnails takes longer and longer with each upgrade of bridge? I would say that generating 30GB of lowres thumbnail from a Nikon 21-36 Mpix camera takes me about 2 hours and I have to scroll so the images become visible otherwise Bridge the won't generate? I always have a top model mac book pro that never is older than 2 years with maximum size RAM, Processor and largest SSD drive. Is it just that slow? kind regards // Alex
Hello,I have couple of users who work on the server to open their files. Before opening the files, they open in a Adobe bridge to see the preview. Once all the users see the previews in Adobe bridge then my server HDD and network reaches to 100% .Is there any solution to minimize this effort of Bridge because they require to see the previews.Thanks.
Why does the importer not remember the last running picture number?
