Please let us be able to change names into After Effects files and that change would be reflected automatically in the Premiere Pro Program Monitor.  It is a problem when I change names in Premiere Pro from After Effects compositions because it create a crash in dynamic link server as it happened to me twice with different versions of the program. I was with a costumer support agent that helped me with a workaround. But it is a one time solution. This problem should have a definitely solution from the devs. Thanks in advance.

Last night I ran the update from After Effects 23.2 to 23.3. Today, I opened a project that contains multiple ProRes MXF assets with Alpha channels. Those MXFs are no longer transparent. See attached image showing shield assets and individual items that no longer have alpha transparency.  This project includes dozens of these assets and, as it stands, is now unusable. I am on a PC running Windows 10.

Hi all! Looking for some CEP developer support.I have a team of designers that uses a custom-built extension for AfterEffects. Previously they all used it on Macs with Intel chips. However, one designer got a new computer with the Apple M2 Max chip, and the extension shows up under Window > Extensions, but won't open anything when it is selected.What we've tried:Running in Rosetta mode: this did not change anything, the extension still won't openChanging the defaults: using this command in Terminal, this has previously worked on the Macs with Intel chips that ran into the same issue, however, this changes nothing on the M2 chip Mac.defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.13.plist PlayerDebugMode 1 && killall -u `whoami` cfprefsdRunning a different extension: AtomX (https://atomx.aniom.net/) is built similarly. Bonjour,Depuis quelques semaines, After effect se fait de plus en plus lent (De la prévisualisation, au workflow jusqu'à l'export sur MediaEncoder)... Et pourtant je suis sur un Mac Studio de dernière génération...J'ai eu le problême sur un projet particulièrement lourd, que j'ai alors transféré sur mon Macbook pro M1Et sur ce dernier, à ma grande surprise, workflow fluide, export en 15 secondes sur MediaEncoder.la seule différence (les extentions/plugins) que j'ai désintallé pour essayer mais ça ne change rien.Les deux en travaillant sur un SSD externe.Quelqu'un aurait une Idée/solution à mon problême ?Merci.

In the last few weeks, with the current and previous updates of AE, I've been experiencing regular crashes. I've become aware of a known bug with Nvidia drivers:helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/kb/crashes-after-updating-nvidia-latest-driversBut this post is of little help. After Effects just can't seem to handle anything else running at the moment - even accessing an explorer window can cause AE to crash. I need a solution. Thanks,Isaac.

Sometimes when rendering an asset the kerning updates on every frame making the text flicker.

Hi there,I've recently been having some strange issues regarding how colours are displayed in render views.I am working on a 2021 16-inch Macbook Pro with M1 chip using an LG Ultragear 34GL750 monitor.AE version: 23.0.0 (Build 59)OS: MacOS Monterey 12.6 When loading a project, what ever render viewers I have open will have over saturated colours. If I create a new render viewer then the colours in this one are correct, and when side by side you can see the difference, as shown below:  I am working in the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 colourspace in my project settings, but changing this doesnt fix the bug. It happens also if I just open the project on the built in macbook retina display.I figure it must be some bug to do with colour profiles, it just means I have to replace all my render viewers when I open every project or Im working with incorrect colours which is quite irritating.

When the After Effects window is above a certain size, it seems that timeline scrubbing becomes very jittery, as if the timeline needle is quickly jumping between the current and previous keyframes. Video attached.

This is my keyboard hardware* ISO105 with Latin American Layout*The keyboard layout included with After Effects for Spanish in the Visual Keyboard Shortcut Editor is not fully working for my setup, some keystrokes are not recognised or misinterpreted like when if I press "{" the Visual Keyboard Shortcut Editor shows an apostrophe or single quote (').I have After Effects 23.3.0 (Build 53) in English by preference and my OS (Windows 10) is in Spanish (es_MX) from méxico by default. Keyboard hardware is an HP 125 Wired Keyboard Model TPA-P001K with latin american layout.I have already tried the recommended steps covered by adobe's documentation for After Effects and spent some time chatting with their support team, 2 of them. The Adobe specialist recomendation was to change my languages and keyboards to english, and I did but it just worked because my keyboard hardware have keys that are not recognised by After Effects under the EN or ES keyboard layout. I need a Keyboard layout

Trying to change multiple Render Queue items Output file path sometimes changes all the other output file names to something like _.mp4 or _.mov (erasing all the comp names in the file name). You either have to rename all the output files manually (not practical for large batch renders). I've noticed that deleting all the Queued items after setting the directory, and then re-queueing serves as a work around.

Hi there folks.I don't work a lot in AE but again and with trying everything i know i get a black screen. How surprising.Last time i had this it was a system access that needed to be granted. And of course in the beginning my solid white when i didn't use a background colour.But now i have not got the faintest idea. Every trick in my book has failed. Computer MacBook i7 is just fine all apps are latest (i am a registered user).Anybody?? I need to get it to the customer......  I FOUND IT.... I´ve have tried everything i found on the internet. But nothing worked so far.Uninstalled the driver, the AMD software, etc. On the events section of the display driver i found this message: Device PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_67DF&SUBSYS_C5801682&REV_E7\4&1286464&0&0008 requires further installation.Does anyone have a clue?Thanks in advance

Quando crio uma composição e utilizo a ferramenta de rotoscopia, após selecionar a área que desejo manter, ao tentar propagar para todo meu vídeo o sistema apresenta erra dizendo que encontrou um problema e precisa ser fechado.Tentei com diversos vídeos, incluindo alguns com alguns segundos somente.Atualizei driver de vídeo.Configurei parâmetros do AE (memória, cache, etc).Nada adiantou.Meu PC está com Windows 11, tem 16 GB de memória, processador Inte I5, placa de vídeo Geforce RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB.A questão nem é desempenho do PC, já que só de mexer na barra para propagar os cortes já dá crash, sem apresentar motivo nem nada.Aguardo e Obrigado.

Is it a Cache thing? is there an amount of data I need to allow? or is this still a problem that isn't resolved?Either way, this has never been an issue I've experienced for the last 6 years of using AE professionally. 

After the latest upgrade of Aftereffects to 23.1.0(Build 83), when we load our extension panel, the HTML dropdowns inside the panel are not working. Dropdowns don't show the values inside them at the click of the down arrow. This happens across different areas of the panel, none of the dropdowns are working when this problem happens. Hey all, Recently upgraded to 23.2.1, and speed in this version is absolutely abysmal, even with a comp that is not challenging for performance. What's worse, even typing speed for expressions slows down to a crawl - even in an empty project.Interestingly enough, plugins such as Expressionists are wholly unaffected by this.The problem is particularly bad when writing expressions, as you can see in the comparison I attached between AE 22.0 and AE 23.2.1 - it's absolutely crazy. Hey all,So even on its best days, AfterEffects has always been some seriously buggy software. This is especially true regarding third-party enhancements like the Maxon plug-ins. Every time Adobe releases a new version, it breaks the 3rd party plug-ins. Maxon seems to be able to release updates without causing crashes; however, every Adobe update causes plug-ins to crash. Perhaps someone at Adobe will see this and take note? Normally, the solution is to return to the previous version and hope for the best. I just upgraded to the latest version of AE at the time of this writing and cannot use the plug-ins at all. They worked via the previous version with a number of sufferable transient issues, but now project files with typecast crash the software right away. I've also cleared my temp files, uninstalled and reinstalled AE, as well as the entire creative cloud suite, and mixed/matched different software versions for some semblance of functionality. Has anyone had any luck fixin

After effects not adding files to AME render queue after the latest update in MAC OS 13.0

Hi, so when I import a mblook file, it says it can't import it or unsupported file type or extension. 

I was working on some afeter effects file at on a more up to date computer. I have travelled to my second computer, an OS High Sierra. The after effetc files in the creative clpoud are greyed out, plus I cannopt find even an old copy of AfterEffects. I was working on this computer a month ago, in aftereffects... now all disappeared. I have work to do on it, and in the past this has been seemless. Any suggestions as to how I can:Get a copy of After Effects that opens on this computer.Carry on working on the files ( probably created in 23.1... but I'm not sure (as I can't open them!))Thanks
