Hi, I have Windows 11 and randomly when I go to transfer raw files off my SD card using Bridge, it will show this locked icon for the folders of the SD card. This only happens sometimes, but lately more often. This prevents me from rating/staring the photos I want to transfer. There is NOT a physical lock on my sd card. I checked that first. 

Photoshop Bridge v15.11. When launched, shows an error message with the Bridge's logo in it and nothing else (see pic). When click OK to the message, Bridge quits. I restarted the computer (Mac OS 15.6) and the error continued there. I uninstalled and reinstalled Bridge and the error message is still there. Got fixed temporarelly with a "Hard Reset" method but when launched again the error message shows again. Any ideas? Thanks.

Bridge v15 hangs for approx. 30 seconds each time it starts, whether or not the current folder contains any files or is empty. If I click on Bridge during this time, the display turns grey and I the title bar displays a "not responding" caption - further clicks cause a Windows dialog to open with options to wait for the program to respond or terminate the program.This used to be a problem early this year but one of the spring 2025 updates cured this, until it restarted after an August 2025 update, but now it occurs every time the program starts. I have purged all 100% previews in cache and also purged all local cache files, but this makes no difference to the delay when Bridge starts. It doesn't make any difference whether the current folder is on an internal SSD or not - I don't use Bridge with any external drives. My PC is running the current version of Windows 11 with the latest updates and a Ryzen 7 cpu, 32Gb RAM and plenty of free disk space. Why is Bridge 15.1.1.729 starting to make thumbnails over and over again? I work in the same directory for weeks by now (6400 items), but every morning when I start Bridge, it starts making thumbs as if it has no thumbs in cache. All thumbs are gone!And when it starts making thumbs, it never finishes the job, but it quits making thumbs, whilst the thumbs are not competed until the whole directory is finished.This behaviour is very annoying, as it is very time-consuming and taking resources. Hope Adobe will fix this asap.......

Issue: In Camera raw, if I save CR3 image to JPG, the JPG image is noticeably brighter in the Bridge display. Bridge version: 15.1.1.729Operating system: Windows 11 Steps to reproduce (Very important): In a numbered list, the exact steps are needed to reproduce the problem. Open raw (CR3) image in Camera RAW Adjust imageSave image as JPG with maximum file size 3000 KBClick "Done"  to save the modifications to the raw file in an XMP sidecarActual result: JPG image appears somehat brighter than raw fileExpected result:JPG and raw should look identical.  It has worked this way in Bridge since I strted using Camera Raw in 2018.  

After opening a photo in Photoshop from Bridge, the edits that are made that affect metadata info, such as size and  ppi, are not automatically reflected, even though the image is refreshed. Only after selecting another photo and reselecting the edited one again, the changes are shown.

In the Camera Raw program, in the Crop function, after selecting the grid view, you cannot disable it to return to the grid of thirds view. The Show/Hide Grid Overlay button (CTRL-SHIFT-G) does not work. 

I updated to 15.1.1.729 and my raw files in neither the thumbnail nor the preview  appear as modified by the sidecar xmp files until I update them in the new version of Bridge. My raw files are Canon CR3.

search in Russian language does not work

When trying to rename files, if the filename already includes a dot, bridge would rename the file and trim the extension. For example if I wanted to add a sequence to the filename:Filename:  PXL_20250817_063001570.NIGHT.jgpWould be renamed to 01_PXL_20250817_063001570.NIGHTBridge is obviously confusing the dot in the name and the dot that separates the extension.I have tried String Substitution to remove the dot in the file name but the problem is that String Substitution only has the option of "Original Filename" and "Intermediate Filename" and they both include the extension. I wish we had 2 more options "Original Filename and Extension" and "Intermediate Filename and Extension". So that the current options WOULD NOT include the extension.

I use Bridge to cull sessions, rating images at 1 star to know what I want to import to LR. It worked Sunday, and last night I tried to cull a session and the rating system in Bridge isn't working now. I've restarted the program, restarted the computer, ran all software updates (both apple and adobe), and uninstalled/reinstalled the program, and still nothing. I've tried all the resets/cache purging tips. It won't rate through the Label tab at the top of the page either.

I shoot real estate and use the group photos to HDR stacks in Bridge. This is to make it easier to organise the bracketed shots for culling.I encounter a problem with Bridge when using filters (color/rating). When you first make Bridge group your shots to HDR stacks it displays the first bracket as the thumbnail. As soon as you do any kind of filtering, it randomly displays a new thumbnail from the stack. Not terrible bug, but annoying.View attached video for the behaviour. I use Windows 11, Latest edition og Bridge.

Hi. I have an issue with Photoshop (Mac OS Sequoia 15.6). My version 26.9.0 is not embedding the color profile as it should as i save the photo in webp file (Save As with option to embed color profile). When i see the file in Bridge it says "color profile untagged". It does not happen with tiff, png and jpeg files, just with webp.  

Bridge v15.1.0.625 does not show transparency on PSB (Photoshop large document format) files on thumbnails, even not after purging the cache for them. On PSD (Photoshop format) files it is shown as expected. The export works normally.

Bridge suddenly crashed and will not completely start. Upon starting, an error message will show, then when I clear the error message, it crashes. Auto report is turned on, so hopefully the system information is somewhere in the Adobe troubleshooting system.I uninstalled and reinstalled, and this did not fix it. I uninstalled and rolled back a few times to different older versions, and this did not fix it.  Every time I chose to not carry over the old preferences, so there shouldn't be any old preference files, but I suspect a file somewhere has been corrupted and is not being cleared with a reinstall.Screenshots. After the reinstall, the. usual "What's New" pops up.  In behind is the error messageThis is the unhelpful error message. After the latest update the loop/magnifing device in the preview panel is not working properly and appears fuzzy despite the actual file once opened and enlarged (ctrl +) is quite clear and in focus

When I start Bridge it takes at least 30 seconds before anything appears in the program - all of the side panels and main content panel are totally empty. When I click anywhere on the program during this time, the title bar changes to "Bridge (Not Responding)" and the cursor just spins - clicking anywhere again just turns the display light grey and produces a pop-up with 2 options - "close the program" or "wait for program to respond". This occurs whether Bridge opens in a totally empty folder or one containing over 500 RAW photos. My first thought was that the Bridge cache was either full or exceeded the allocated size, but compacting the cache, purging 100% previews in cache and purging all local cache files doesn't affect this behaviour. When Bridge is starting, the Windows Task Manager shows Bridge using 0% cpu, no disk activity, and program not responding.I always keep Bridge up to date, so has affected previous versions during the past 2-3 months but has now become

On the daily I'm using the shortcuts to change a picture's star and I got tired of using ctrl+1/ctrl+2/ctrl+3 etc. So I wanted to change them to 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 and remove the ctrl key all together. However, even after changing it, those keys still default to some kind of navigation actions.  I don't know if I set it up wrong or something.

Adobe Bridge 2025 (15.1.1.729) on my MacBook M1 Pro running Sequoia 15.5.  When I preview a selected thumbnail by hitting the space bar, Bridge displays a full-screen image and a notification that it is generating a 100% High Quality Image. However, the image is not 100% pixel for pixel and appears blurry. I can force Bridge to generate the preview with this workaround:1. Click the preview to zoom out to "fit in window" view.2. Click again to 100% zoom in.After a second, I get the real pixel preview. So I know Bridge can do it, but this method of clicking in and out costs so much time with multiple images. Note: once the rendering of the image is complete, the preview looks good from there. This only happens to new images. I've tried every variety of preference settings for cache and cache management. I add metadata to raw files in Bridge (version 15.1.1.729), and then export them to jpeg. The problem is that if I make a change to the description metadata item in the jpeg file, using Bridge, other applications (including Preview on MacOS) still show the original description. To get it right I have to make the change on the raw files, delete the jpeg files, and then re-export them. This adds significant time to my workflow.   Using the Jimpl.com metadata viewer I can see that the old description remains in the legacy IIM Caption-Abstract field, while the new one shows up in XMP description. The IPTC doc says that these two map to each other.   The attached jpeg shows the edited description (T. Wicklund #22) in XMP description and the original description (Tim Wicklund #22) in IIM Caption-Abstract. I need to make sure the original description is removed and won't show up again.   Since I cannot alter what is in Caption-Abstract (except by deleting and re-
