The color of the outline of paths/objects, when I have changed them to custom colors (ones not listed in the dropdown menu in "Options for 'Layer Name'"), revert to black the next time I open the file.  For example, I opened the options pop-up for a layer called "refs" containing two objects, clicked on the colored square beside the dropdown menu of colors to launch the color picker, input RGB values for the specific color I wanted, then selected "OK" twice to save these changes.  The "refs" layer displayed the color I chose, and so did the outlines of its objects on the Artboard when I hovered over them.  However, even after saving changes and exiting the program correctly, the custom colors were not remembered upon reopening the file.  Any layer color with a custom value had reverted to default "Black," from the dropdown options.

In Illustrator Beta, in the What's new in Beta there is no ability to scroll down and review all new features...Also, the headers on the right side are not complete.

Description:When using Point Type in Adobe Illustrator, the bounding box often extends vertically more than necessary, even for a single line of text. This leads to alignment problems and inconsistent spacing when working with grids or layouts.

Eydropper doesn't show any color when I try to use it on embedded or linked raster images. It works in regular Illustrator, but has stopped working in Beta since the last update.

While working, everything on the canvas disappears suddenly, and the illustrator doesn't allow you to save that file, saying there is an 'Unknown Error'. And yes, NO RECOVERY SETTING WORKS HERE. If the work you have done is not saved till the collapse, then it's simply gone. Even if you copy all elements of that file to a new file, you won't be able to save that file either.This issue was there with the previous version (29.6.1).That means there is no progress on this BUG. It's still there in the new version

Been happening and reporting for a while on various updates of Abode Illustrator.When trying to alter the scale.......selecting a new scale then trying to click on save, the tool will not save.closing the tool options box does not solve this problemClosing and restarting Illustrator does allow the change but problem occurs again  reason later without any obvious reason,  

none of the enter keys work in illustrator v29.7.9

Doing a project on illustrator beta, setting up my workspace, create an Ai Image and took 2 hours to edit it, and suddenly it crashes, closes and all the work was gone.\I had to uninstal it and reinstal it again.Waste of time and patience

Scaling using the shift key has stopped working across all of my adobe applications.Constrain proportions is checked on, and all scaling options within settings > general are on.Any ideas what might be causing this. Have tried resetting preferences, updating to lastest version, and several reboots. Nothing is working. 

The Property Section in Illustrator is oddly scaled and even after multiple resets and also preference reset it wont change it. I have to scroll down annoyingly far to reach the alignment option or further to reach the character options. It happened to me since the previous update.

This new beta does not allow me to type an uppercase R with the shift key. It works in all other apps on my computer but in this version of illustrator it just doesn't type it at all when shift is held down.

I'm trying to edit the .AI file I made with the latest Beta version of Illustrator. I'm re-opening it with the same software and it's loading wrong fonts. For example I use 2 types of fonts mainly in this work, A and B (there are other fonts in the artboard too, but mainly 2). But when I load it, B fonts loaded as A, and vice versa.  If i try to open this file on Photoshop it is showing correctly so it is clearly the Beta Program's fault.  

I found out when I was typing in a text box, if I press "Shift + R" for capital r, it opens artboard options. 

Não Consigo abrir um novo projeto, já tentei varias formas de resolver até mesmo atulizar, mas tive que voltar a uma versão mais antiga, não aparece mensagem de erro nem trava, apenas não acontece nada

Lo guarde normal en illustrator pero luego de guardar un poco después se fue la luz entonces se apago mi computadora de escritorio y cuando volvió la luz y queria seguir trabajando me salió como si fuera que se guardo de otra manera y no me permite ver mi proyecto. Tuve que volver a empezar de 0. Si alguien conoce el error, le estaria agradecido que me explique ya que me aparece que se guardo de manera correcta pero cuando abro sale una sola página en blanco (habían 8 páginas).

The Illustrator beta keeps shutting down on its own. I always have to force close the program and save it again.

cierre inesperado en ilustrator. tengo todo los drivers de la tarjeta y la version de ilustrator beta actualizada, reinicie pc,  probe varias opciones y se sigue cerrando solo. necesito ayuda por favor

It kept prompting me every few minutes without even using generative expand. 

When dragging and selecting, occassionally get into an endless loop with the Generative Expand, stating 'Unhide and unlock objects to include them in Generative Expand' when I was never attempting to use Generative Expand, only selecting objects with Selection. When hit 'Ok' upon prompt, prompt just recycles.

If I try to lock and object or layer, a message window pops up that says, "Unhide and unlock objects to include them in Generative Expand." Hiting the OK button only makes the error message come back again and again, and I have to kill the process in Task Manager and restart.Illustrator version 29.6 107,  Windows 11 version 24H2

I have problems with the last updated version 29.6, every time I lock, hide or other thing does not let me work, and a window about generative expand, please do something about it because it does not let me work.
