Increasing image size from 100% to 200% results in blurred image in Library module. Move to Develop module and image sharpens up. Return to Develop module and the image stays sharp until you move the cursor in to the image area, at which point it returns to a blurred image. Same image(s) in Lightroom Classic 9.4 remain sharp at 1:1,2:1 and larger.

On Mac, holding Opt while dragging a panel divider lets you expand the panel as wide as you want.  But Alt-drag doesn't work on Windows 10 / LR 7.  (I recall that this used to work in Windows, but that could be a false memory.)Expanding the panels extra wide can be very helpful to see deep hierarchies and long names with folders, collections, and keywords.

I am running Lightroom Classic 12.0.1 on a Lenovo Thinkcentre M75s Gen 2 with AMD Ryzen 3 PRO 5350G CPU and 16GB of RAM. The OS is Windows 10 Pro. I have had consistent issues on this machine with the sync function. I use both the mobile app and Lightroom Classic, and I have noticed when editing or uploading images on the mobile app it would create often as many as 5 duplicates of the original image in Lightroom Classic. After wiping my cloud photos and rebuilding sync data as suggested by adobe support, I am now unable to sync at all. Lightroom Classic will operate normally as long as I leave sync paused, but the second I unpause it the program begins to slow down until a loading icon appears and it crashes. This happens without fail every time it attempts to sync. Is there any solution to this issue?

Lightroom Desktop and Lightroom mobile sort collection correctly.  When I make the collection public, the public gallery displayed via the link is not sorted correctly.  The collection spans 4 days.  The whole collection should be sorted from oldest to newest, but the public gallery is all over the place.  The first day of pictures is sorted from newest to oldest, and the rest of the photos are sorted in varying orders and out of sequence.  I have tried un-syncing, re-syncing, changing sort orders from capture date to file name to custom, and nothing works.  Again, it is sorted correctly on Lightroom Desktop and Lightroom Mobile.  It is just the public link gallery that does not sort correctly.  The public gallery has an Icon that allows me to change the sort order.  When I re-sort from newest to oldest, it displays correctly.  When I re-sort from oldest to newest, the incorrect/random order is again displayed.  This is incredibly

Is there something going on? It worked fine yesterday. I am updated, I have uninstalled & reinstalled, reset preferences, gave full permisson to LR on Mac. 

Hey guys !   After the latest update, I'm facing a rather annoying problem. After I do all my export settings and press EXPORT Button, LR seems to time out for a couple of minutes (and don't respond) until it starts the export. After that the export time is quick as usual !  LR Classic ver 12 MacOS Monterey 12,6

On a regular basis, I merge 5 bracketed shots from my drone.  In the older LR, this operation took about 1 minute or less.  I could "batch" 5 operations at a time and have them all done in about 3 minutes or less. With the newer, faster, more awesome (and likely soon-to-be-deprecated) LR, it simply won't do anything.  I was lucky and had one HDR to work, but I've tried countless others (one for nearly two hours) and nothing happens.  The progress bar makes no progress. I'm really worried that this important feature is simply victim of a bug. Anyone else having issues?  Adobe, what's up with this?? I'm using a medium-powered PC that has never had problems with merge before.

So, in order to access the printing module I have installed Lightroom Classic, and am syncing my Lightroom catalogue down to it from Adobe Cloud. At the moment, left to its own devices, doing nothing but syncing, lightroom crashes every few minutes. The main error message is to do with the catalogue - which is being written to an external harddrive.   So far, I have: - uninstalled and reinstalled - disabed GPU - deleted preview cache   I'm running out of ideas at this stage. The program is wholly unusable as is, and has already wasted hours of my time.   Any fixes, or do I just give up, uninstall and get my refund?

Adding hours, minutes, seconds to the name of the exported file does not work. It does not work in the Polish language version. It works correctly in the English language version.

Confirming a name suggested by face recognition breaks the current Keyword column in the Metadata browser, such that the column won't display the photo with the confirmed name. To reproduce:1. Create a new catalog, enabling face recognition.2. Import two copies of the same photo containing a clearly recognizable face.3. Assign both photos the keyword "John".4. In the Keyword List panel, click the arrow to the right of "John", which opens a Keyword column in the Metadata browser with "John" selected.5. Select the first photo, go to Library Loupe view, and enable the viewing of faces by clicking the Draw Face Region in the toolbar.6. Label the face with "John".7. Move to the next photo, which should show "John?" above the face rectangle. Confirm that name by clicking the check mark.8. The Preference options File Handling > Treat dot/slash As A Keyword Separator doesn't work on import, though it does work with the menu command Metadata > Read Metadata From File.  To reproduce:   1. In Preferences > File Handling, set the options Treat dot/slash As A Keyword Separator.   2. Import the two attached files slash.jpg and dot.jpg. They contain the following metadata fields:   $ exiftool -a -G -xmp:subject -iptc:keywords -xmp:hierarchicalsubject dot.jpg slash.jpg ======== dot.jpg [XMP] Subject : A.B.C [IPTC] Keywords : A.B.C ======== slash.jpg [XMP] Subject : A/B/C [IPTC] Keywords : A/B/C     3. Similar to this bug as this, it was about the PNG watermark.https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-bugs/p-watermarks-rendering-darker-than-preview/idi-p/13004589   On Lightroom Classic 11.5 the PNG watermark bug is fixed, but it brings the similar issue to the text watermark.    Blow shows that the TEXT watermark with drop shadow will have a sharp edge on the right(15.0) watermark on the left is 14.1.1  

What are the kb shortcuts for the second monitor zooming?  I have tried cntr-shift +/- (on both main kb and numeric pad).  These do not work properly.  

calling waitForRender() in postProcessRenderedPhotos generates an error ("An unknown error occurred. This photo was not rendered") when called in a "Publish" setting. Hi folks, I sometimes use the "enhance details" feature available from the "photo" menu (Ctrl + Option + I). This is the feature that increases the pixel amount by 4x using Adobe Super Resolution. Then there is another tool in the "library" menu, called "refine photos" which apparently helps with picking/rejecting. Never used it...   So the issue is that in the German translation of LRC, both functions are called exactly the same: Enhance: "Verbessern..." Refine: "Fotos verbessern..."   This is not only wrong (verbessern = improve, so correctly applies to first function "enhance", but definitely not "refine") but also very confusing.   Any chance Adobe will change the translation?   Thanks and best regards John

Hallo, ich benötige euer Hilfe.   Das neu installierte Lightroom Classic V12.1 auf Windows 10 startet auf dem PC nur im Online-Modus. Das Progamm ist registriert, die Mailadresse wird online angezeigt und es wurden noch keine Anpassungen vorgenommen.   Sobald der PC offline ist, lässt sich das Programm nicht öffnen. Es erscheint keine Fehlermeldung.   Das ebenfalls auf dem PC neu installierte Photoshop startet offline problemlos. Darüberhinaus startet das zeitgleich, auf einem Notebook, installierte Lightroom Classic ebenfalls problemlos offline.   Wer kennt eine Lösung um Offline arbeiten zu können?   Vielen Dank im Voraus für eure Unterstützung. Based on posted recommendations here, I updated my LR C to 12.1., however, I still do get the error message and am not able to open LR at all.    What shall I do? Views  

I LOVE the new AI Masks but with the latest update, I was SO disappointed to find that I could no longer select different features like TEETH, SKIN and EYES if I choose ALL PEOPLE.  I can get those options only if I choose INDIVIDUAL people.  While this option accomplishes the same thing as I can add multiple recognized humans, the HUGE bummer is that I can't copy and paste ALL PEOPLE masks and have the AI create custom masks for different photos as the arrangements and people change.  I basically could program it to apply custom filters to any faces recognized in the photos.  Now it will only apply it to the people it recognized in the one photo example I'm using as a source to PASTE from.  This feature has lost all value for productivity.  Am I missing something!!!!?? HELP! 

The Help for "Apply Subject and Sky masks in batch edit" has several errors. It says:   "1. Open a photo in the Develop module....3. Click Copy at the bottom of the Presets panel...4. ...select the photos you want to paste the mask to. You can use the filmstrip for this.5. Once the desired photos are selected, click Paste. You can also press Ctrl/Cmd-V."   - The section title should be "Apply AI masks in batch edit", since the instructions apply to all types of AI masks.   - Step 5, clicking Paste, won't update all the selected photos in Develop or in Library Loupe -- it will only update the most-selected photo.   - The shortcut for Paste is Shift+Ctrl/Cmd+V, not Ctrl/Cmd+V.  And Adobe's convention is to use "+", not "-", in keyboard shortcuts.   * * *   The instructions should be rewritten to use one of the methods that does work:   - Do the Copy/Paste Settings in Library Grid view.   - Use the Sync Settings command.   - Righ

LR can display two "User Presets" groups in the Presets panel when running in other languages.  To reproduce:   1. Start LR in German.   2. Create a preset, putting it in the group "Test Group".   3. Right-click the newly clicked preset and do Verschieben (Move), selecting Benutzer-Presets (User Presets).   4. Observe there are now two groups named Benutzer-Presets:   I observe similar results for Norwegian but not English. (I didn't test the other 13 languages.)  Most likely, some code path is testing a group name against the English "User Presets" rather than the translation of "User Presets".   Tested on LR 12.0.1 / Mac OS 12.6.1.

Hello, not sure if this has allready been mentioned.  When I fill in a keyword that has for example 2 psd-images, click on the arrow to view the 2 images and edit one in Photoshop. Then I save the image and return to Lightroom to see that the image has dissapeared. I can still see there are 2 images with that specific keyword but I am not able to see the image I just edited in Photoshop.  One solution is restarting Lightroom, but it's quite annoying to keep restarting Ligtroom every time. Anyone with a similar problem or a fix maybe? I am using a Macbook Pro with all the latest updates. Thanks!

From Lr Classic 11.2 update, photo count of collection does not update on drop photos on collection. LrC Version 11.2, macos monterey 12.2.1  Reproduce step. Drop selected photos from grid view, to filtered collection by name. Expected. Increse count of photos on collection. Actual Result. Count stays before drop.
