I recently upgraded to a 4k second monitor to replace a HD monitor. I did work through various type size issues discussed elsewhere, and the Library, Develop and Book modules are working fine. The Map and Web modules only partially redraw the main image window and are totally unusable. GPU acceleration has no effect. Nvidia GTX 860M driving the 4K UHD monitor via Display Port.Looks like a bug of sorts to me. Any ideas on fix or work around? Thanks!
On Lightroom mobile web (lightroom.adobe.com), if I click once on an image to zoom in it is no longer possible to move / pan around the image. This was working fine a few weeks ago.For me the bug occurs both in shared galleries and on the main site. I tested this with Firefox 50.0 and Chrome 54.0.2840.99.
When i choose "edit original" in Photoshop then the LR develop module doesn't reload the image after i saved the tif in Photoshop. But the library module DOES refresh. So i end up with different previews in library and develop. Only solution is to restart LR. After the restart i can see the current preview in develop module too. Steps to reproduce: - Open your raw file (i use dng) in LR. - Choose "edit in Adope Photoshop". Make some changes and save. Lightroom will automatically import the created tif file. Switch to develop module in LR - Now make another change in PS and save. - LR should detect that change to the tif file and refresh the preview. Maybe you need to switch to the next image and back to have LR refresh the image. But it should work. - Now close LR and PS. - Start LR again. - Select the tif file again, switch to develop module and choose "edit original" in Photoshop. - Make changes in PS and save. - LR will not refresh the preview in the develop module! But it will refr
I am receiving sync errors when creating tif files passed between Lightroom and Photoshop. I’ll detail the issues in the steps below but first my setup and some definitions: Using Lightroom 5.4 on Windows 7 64-bit and Photoshop CC 14.2.1 with latest Camera Raw 8.4 Using Lightroom mobile version 1.0.1 on iPad Air (32 Gb version) Lrd = Lightroom desktop Lrw = Lightroom on the web (lightroom.adobe.com) Lrm = Lightroom mobile app Ps = Photoshop CC What I did: Sync a collection of Lrd photos to Lrm. In my case I successfully synced 50 dng photos to the mobile app. Lrw also shows photos correctly. Pass a photo from Lrd to Ps using Lightroom’s Edit In command. In Ps add a text layer (or an adjustment layer). The intent is to have a simple way to make a visible change and have the ability to easily turn the layer on or off. Save the file (Ctrl+W) which automatically adds the new tif file to Lrd and automatically syncs to Lrm. All Lightroom instances (Lrd, Lrw, and Lrm) all correctly show th
With Lightroom 2015.7 on macOS Sierra (released today) the scrolling behaviour for changing brush sizes using the trackpad is very "twitchy". It will jump from tiny to large with very small scroll movements. All other scrolling in the OS as well as the rest of Lightroom is unaffected and works as normal.Areas of issue: - Adjusting size of spot removal tool - Adjusting size of the adjustment brushUnaffected: - Scrolling the grid view - Panning around the image with 2 fingersI've tried with the GPU on and off.Hardware:15" 2014 MacBook Pro with 16G ram and SSD (65% full). 2.2Ghz i7.Actual behaviour:The best I can do is describe it as twitchy. In the previous version using the scroll action (two fingers on the trackpad moving up and down) the brush sizes would adjust in a smooth and linear manner. The current behaviour has the size jumping (smoothly, no going from big to small with nothing in the middle) very fast from big to small or back.
Pressing the "^" Key in Lightroom (language English) on my Macbook Pro 13' (German key layout) running macOS Sierra produces an "Internal Error" because "Range or index out of bounds" prompting me to "continue" or "crash" Lightroom.Anyone else with this problem?
Export preset where you chose "Open in other application" and you have selected a droplet (I have a folder with many droplets) does not work, because the droplet utilized by photoshop is not the one chosen in the export preset
Right after doing the updates to the newest versions of both LR and PS on the same computer that all was working on, Edit it Photoshop command from LR does not work if Photoshop is not already open and running. LR is unable to launch PS is the problem. I can manually launch PS while LR is stuck trying to send the image file and launch PS, and if I manually launch PS, it opens and receives the image from LR. If I don't lunch PS myself, LR does not succeed in opening it and eventually error's simply saying that photoshop failed to open.
The lensprofile for the Zeiss Batis 2/25 is obviously faulty. The vignette correctiongoes either the wrong direction or is way too bright. It creates a sort of awhite vignette to the images. Who’s to address this issue – Adobe or Zeiss?
During import, most import settings have disappeared save for a couple. Strangely, import presets still apply the settings that are missing. This happens during Copy & Copy as DNG (my default choice).I'm running MacOS Sierra Beta and the latest LR available on CC.
I have created a NEW post because of the MANY other posts about this problem.I have seen several posts on the Lightroom forum and this Photoshop Family forum of the adjustment brush stops working. Many of these were unsolved. A recent post on the Lightroom forum has a REPEATABLE scenario to make the adjustment brush stop working. See here in posts #9, 10 and 11 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2082068The scenario is as follows and as the forum post shows happens on Windows and Mac.Use the Adjustment BrushRemove any photo - chose Delete from DiskAdjustment brush stops working (no new pins, can't select old pins, nothing in history)Select Spot Tool and create random spot/heal and immediately delete spot/healSelect Adjustment Brush and the Adjustment Brush will start working again. This behavior is completely REPEATABLE.
Under the Keyword List, when the count for a given keyword exceeds 99999, the count is displayed with the last 3 digits printed as "...". For example, for a count of 100373, the Keyword List displays it as "100...". No matter how wide I make the far right panel, keyword counts of 100000 and more will not display the final 3 digits. I often use the exact counts for inventory control and photo asset management. The loss of the last 3 digits of large counts is a significant burden to these functions. [LR 5.6]
If I add the keyword B&W once, the next time I start a keyword with B, I get offered the choice BW (uppercase B, uppercase and underlined W). This is a standard function in databases but I feel that the keyword input should be (further?) sanitised so that the returned string is the same as the input. Thanks.

Recently installed Adobe Lightroom 4.2 on a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit system. I have a Synology DS 213 NAS which has approximately 25,000 potographs. I am trying to import them into a Lightroom 4 catalog. However LR constantly crashes!!! Google Picasa never gave me any trouble! Any suggestions? Where can I get a refund for this buggy software?
Configuration: MacBook Pro i7 2.7 GHz, Lion 10.7.2, Lightroom 3.5 What I try to do: Publish a set of photos and videos to my harddisk with the option "limit file size" set to 1000 kB. When I try to publish I get an "assertion failed" error for all the videos. When I uncheck the limit file size option, everything works fine... Is it a bug? I thought that videos are not concerned by the settings concerning file size or picture quality...
Hi,I have last version of Adobe Lightroom CC.Steps to reproduce bug:1. Enable profile corrections.2. Make some changes in Distortion.3. Make some changes in Crop mode - correct angle.4. Select Brush and start selecting at the edge of photo.Actual result:Area marked as square during selection.
When I apply lens correction to images taken in sRAW format, they do not correct the image in the same way that they do on full size RAW files.I ran tests on Nikon D810 RAW 14 bit, 12 bit and sRAW files, all taken on a tripod with identical framing, equipment (Nikon 14-24mm), and settings. The lens correction was properly applied on the RAW 14 bit and 12 bit files but not on the sRAW file, although the lens used was shown as detected.Any help to have lightroom correct for lens distortion on Nikon D810 sRAW files?
Since updating to LR CC 2015.6 Lightroom frequently locks up when selecting to import photos from an iPhone or a DSLR SD card. The problem does NOT occur with every import. But when it does occur sometimes it is necessary to delete the com.adobe.Lightroom6.plist file in order to successfully import after the force quit. Other times it is NOT necessary to delete the prefs file in order to do the import following a force quit. iMac 27", 8GB RAM, OS X 10.11.5, about 1TB free disk space. Is this a LR bug in the latest version? Didn't happen with previous versions.
The only way to revert to Normal screen mode is to quit LR.
I'm having an issue with Lightroom CC being very slow at file handling. In Lightroom 5 I could move files from one folder to another on the same drive very quickly (almost instantly, never more than a few seconds), but in Lightroom CC I'm currently moving 400 CR2 files to a different folder and it's taken 10 minutes. This is on a Retina MacBook Pro with an SSD. Also, the way Lightroom CC converts to DNG seems to be different. Normally when I import files I choose to convert to DNG in the Import dialogue. Normally in Lightroom 5 I ended up with a folder full of DNG files. However, in Lightroom CC I seem to get a folder of CR2 files which are then converted to DNG. I tried moving these files (from within Lightroom) while this process was going on and Lightroom got very confused and around 25% of my files could no longer be found by Lightroom (they were still on the disk, but with "DNG" extensions as opposed to the "CR2" which Lightroom seemed to be expecting, even though it had just conv
So this is great... I'm having multiple sign in issues (https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/lightroom-always-signing-out-of-lightroom-mob...) and so do others (https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/mobile-syncing-stopped-after-update-to-lightr...) and nothing is done about this easy problem. It is very easy to keep sign in information for a local application, I don't know why it is so hard for LR...I'm currently traveling. Internet is bad. As in 3kb/s bad. As in WiFi connection dropping out randomly. You know what is really great when you want to work on pictures while on the road? This:The Sign In dialog appears when trying to start Lightroom. It doesn't help killing it (task manager). Whenever I start LR this shows up again because apparently I am using Trial software. Which I am not. I bought LR standalone as well as LR CC. So this is beautifully designed to throw out paying users... Sorry, I am frustrated. You see the little spinning icon? After 5
I run Photoshop and LR CC on a 27" 5k iMac with a second monitor (Dell UltraSharp UP2516D via display port). Both LR and Photoshop are assigned to 'Desktop on Display 2'.When launched, Photoshop opens on the secondary monitor.Lightroom always launches on the main screen. This has occurred on OS X 10.11.3 and now 10.11.4.Just tried a re-install of the OS due to an issue with my APC UPS supply not showing and it fixed that issue but not this one. Spoke to Apple support about the above and they could not find any info on their end as to why this behavior might be happening.Just updated LR (release 2015.5) but no change in the behavior.Any suggestions? I've got to believe it's an issue with LR since Photoshop behaves correctly.
I've tried importing photos from various devices - iPhone, hard drive, memory card... I've also restarted my computer, but I seem to keep running into the same problem with importing any new images into Lightroom (see image attached) I've also tried importing in smaller batches, no more than 15 images from the one day, and I still have the same problem. I did update my Lightroom to the latest version the other day. Could this be the issue? I'm at a loss as to what may have caused this. Any insights or suggestions? Thanks!
Recently, when I try to edit one of my watermarks in Lightroom CC, I find that the watermark dropdown box is blank. I can click on the dropdown box to see all my watermarks and can select any of them and it works, but not after editing one of them.
