I used to be able to toggle the auto-select options between layer and group by pressing “.” but this function no longer works after updating to 27.11.0. I can’t find anything online about this key command and why it’s suddenly not working but I’m certain it worked this way before as I’ve checked a different a different computer running 27.6.0 and it works there. Can I turn this key command back on again? I used it a lot and would appreciate not having to manually use the dropdown to switch between selecting layers/groups. I did look in my key commands list and didn’t see anything that matches the function I’m looking for. Also mannually creating key commands requires cmd or an f-key so I’m not sure I could just add it the same way it was before via the key command editor anyway.

After installing Photoshop 27.11, when starting on a Mac Studio M4 Max with macOS Tahoe 26.7.1 there is a GPU Incompatible error. I rolled back to 27.10 and did not receive this error.

Brush shape dynamics do not work in mouse mode with Wacom tablet after updating to v27.11.0. Pen mode still works fine

I am no longer able to select multiple layers by using CTRL+Click and dragging over the layers that I want to select all at once. I must now CTRL+Click each individual layer which slows down the process immensely.

For starters this has been reproduced using both PS 27.1 and 27.11. I’m using a PC Windows 11. 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor. Processor is 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H. 32GB RAM.I noticed this yesterday when I started working on some retouching projects. If I use Remove Background to create a mask removing the background, create a new layer and use Remove Tool, there are areas that were masked out that show up in the new retouching layer. Erasing those artifacts and using the Remove Tool again will cause those same artifacts to reappear in the same spot.I’m including screen shots. Setting for Remove tool is last image.This happens consistently when using Remove Tool if Remove Background was used to make the mask. I have not tried it using Remove Tool after manually creating a mask. This also only happens with Remove Tool and not the Spot Healing or Healing Brush tools. 

The "Remove Area" tool isn't working.When I make a point-to-point selection and click "Remove Area" with AI turned off, the program freezes; it just hangs there and then displays a "program error" message. It happens every time. It used to happen only occasionally, but now it doesn't work at all. The other tools work perfectly!

using Ps 27.9.1 on MacOSBecause there’s no ability to update the current workspace, I end up with a new workspace whenever I make a small adjustment. This leads to me needing to cull my workspaces to keep the list managable so it’s easier to find the ones that really matter.Before I can delete a workspace, I need to look at it to make sure I want to delete it.Problem is, I can’t delete the current workspace I’m looking at. I select the box marquis selection tool and drag and drop to select an area. I used to be able to then drag and move that selection box to fine tune its location. I can no longer do that since the 27.11.0 update.

Updated to 27.11 this morning. Mac Studio M1 Max 64 GB RAM Tahoe 26.6.2.I have had only the 4 main file formats (psd, tif, jpg, psb) selected in my dropdown ever since the feature to edit them went live. After upgrading to 27.11 TIF no longer appears in the dropdown.Went to the format selection tool (Edit → customize save dialog file formats) and check to see that TIF was still selected as one of the formats. It was. Unselected and then reselected it, no change.Workaround so far is to use the restore defaults setting in the customize tool. Then TIFF reappears in the many options in save as dialogs

In cropping tool, when "tabbing" from width to height, it just changes the screen mode. It used to jump between width, height, resolution

When open three DNG files and select them all click AI Denoise it sets value to 50 when finished.Next i click ai denoise with all three images selected and change value from 50 to 25 and photoshop is crashing, when i select only one file and apply 25 it works fine no crash.If i select all three files and change from 50 to 25 then quickly press Tab key to switch away from the field before update starts then no crash.Sounds like problem with logic.

I am experiencing a reproducible problem with my brand new Wacom Intuos Pro M (PTK-670) and Pro Pen 3 on my MacBook with an external LG monitor.My preferred setup is to use the external LG monitor as my main working display for Photoshop, while keeping the MacBook's built-in display available for other applications such as email, Finder or a browser.The problemWhen Photoshop is open and active, the Wacom pen correctly controls the cursor on the external LG monitor while hovering above the tablet.However, as soon as I touch the tablet with the pen tip, the cursor immediately jumps from the external LG monitor to the MacBook's built-in display.This can also happen simply when the pen is picked up/used while Photoshop is the active, window without me intentionally doing anything with the pen.If I tap my Macbook screen with the pen it jumps to the LG monitor – so the pen is unusable with Photoshop.The Wacom behaves correctly if I close the MacBook lid, leaving only the external LG monitor

I just needed to understand why, the premiere Photo Editor can spit out this kind of results and CHATGPT can do exactly what you was for with more creative flair??“Create the words Big Pisces Energy in spray paint graffiti like letters on a white brick wall and make the l words very colorful”Here the results. PS is on the left by the way. This has happened over and over again when I have tryied to use PS to create items in the AI section. How does the spelling of the words get so jumbled? Forget the wall and the spray paint, the words are even correct. 

Ps v27.11 on macOS 15.8.1 - When saving a file that has a “+” or “-” character as the last character in a layer name it will create an “filename - assets” folder, usually empty, Occasionally there is a text file listing errors, one for each such layer name. Once saved subsequent flattened saves also get a similar extra folder created. Workaround is to remove the characters before saving. This didn’t happen in previous releases. Ps seems to be analyizing the folder names in some way rather than simply accepting them a plain text and producing an error when the assumed math equatioin is left “unfinished”.

Basic editing is done in Capture 1. For some work I send the photos to PS, do my editing and then back to Capture one. That worked fine for years. 4 Days ago the was an update for PS, since then I cannot sent the photos back to Capture one. Hello Adobe Support Team,I would like to report an issue with the alternate glyphs of a typeface in Photoshop 27.10.0.This functionality worked correctly up to version 27.6.0, but in the current version, some alternates no longer work as expected. Ex: Ligatures work, but different version of characters don’t.I have performed the following tests:Illustrator: Alternates work correctly with the same font. Photoshop 27.10.0: Some alternates are not applied correctly, and the original glyph appears instead of the expected alternate. Manual glyph insertion: When attempting to insert certain alternates through the Glyphs panel, the original character appears instead of the expected variant. OpenType features: The Standard Ligatures option is disabled for the affected font, although it is available and can be enabled with other fonts. Copying and pasting from Illustrator: If I apply an alternate in Illustrator and then copy and paste the text into Photoshop, the alternate is preserved correctl

Just FYI, don’t update to 27.11 if you use a Wacom tablet, they broke the eraser function so it just works like a pencil on both ends.This likely won’t get fixed until Adobe’s Claude instance gets its model updated to know what a Wacom tablet is. This bug report is just for users, since Adobe fired all their engineers and the Support team don’t browse these forums.Stick on 27.10, which has its own bugs, but works with a Wacom tablet.Isn’t it great paying through-the-nose for vibe-coded slopware that breaks randomly?
