Photoshop version: 26.11.0 ("up to date" according to Creative Cloud app) System: macOS Tahoe 26.0.1   Steps to reproduce: Open a new document, make some edit, close the document (CMD+W). In the dialog that opens and asks if you want to save, don't save or cancel, try to use the tab key to switch to the discard option. It doesn't work. The only way to discard unsaved changes is to use the mouse.   Expected behavior: Tab key should switch between every available option in dialogs, so you can press spacebar to choose that option.   The same behavior is seen in other dialogs, such as when trying to do something that would cancel an open action (e.g. editing a text box). Tab key just removes focus from any option and it never comes back. Only escape key (cancel) and return (choose the default option) work.

When trying to add a new color swatch the first in line is replaced instead. Not possible to create a new one. Any suggestions?

Hello, I’m using the latest version of Photoshop on Mac and I’ve noticed a strange issue related to text scaling.When I work with text that has multiple colors, everything looks perfectly consistent at 100% zoom — same size, no problem. However, when I zoom out, one part of the text (for example, the red portion) appears smaller than the rest. I’m seeing the same issue when I export or save the file at a different size.the same happens if I use to different layers, one for text in white, and one for the text in red.It feels like a display or rendering inconsistency, but I don’t remember running into this before.Has anyone experienced this or found a fix?Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!  

After the latest Photoshop update, Actions are not properly recording Canvas Size or Crop dimensions.Steps to reproduce:1. Open any image (transparent background PNG tested)2. Start recording a new Action3. Go to Image > Canvas Size4. Enter specific values (e.g. 2024 x 2024 px)5. Confirm and stop recordingExpected result:Canvas Size width and height values should be recorded and visible inside the Action.Actual result:Canvas Size is recorded, but Width and Height values are missing or not saved.Additional notes:- Issue occurs consistently- Tested multiple times- Worked correctly in previous Photoshop versions- Affects automation workflows significantly 

Even though it is checked and has to be seen on the PSD screen and even though I uninstall the photoshop and resinstall it, even though I use the beat too, contexual task bar seems to be some else that I can not reach now :) Is there a solution for that?

When launching Photoshop the following error appears on screen:“could not apply the saved panel configuration, resetting to default”After the application starts up, workspace can be restored back to the saved preferred layout and everything function correctly. This started with 27.1 and has continued in to 27.3There was also already a thread on here where Adobe said it was being looked in to and myself and others had submitted error logs to show where it appeared to flagging the error. After the community change here, that previous bug report has disappeared from the link resolving there or finding it via search so adding a new till it gets addressed.  

Photoshop 27.4 and 27.5 are completely broken on Win 11 with an NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti. The app freezes when selecting the Remove Tool, changing any panels, or opening the New Document screen. On exit, it consistently hangs in the background and won't close on its own; you have to kill the process manually, which resets all setting changes.Version 27.3.1 and below work as intended. Additionally, 27.4 and 27.5 work just fine on a PC with Win 10 and an AMD W5500. The issue seems to be specific to Win 11.

I'm experiencing an error, specifically with screenshots taken on my iPhone 16 Pro with the new "HDR" screenshots option enabled in the iOS 26 settings (General > Screen Capture > HDR)   I'll attach an example screenshot HEIC file, as you can see it causes the same error as OP. If you can't reproduce with it I can attach system info and try some other troubleshooting.   The setting:    Error box. It happens in both the Photoshop beta (27.0.0 20250921.m.3233 a60f1d2 x64 (beta, PublicBeta)) and stable (26.10.0 20250811.r.7 595d3a6 x64 (final, Release))   The error does not occur with HEIC images that were taken with the camera for me, only screenshots it seems. And only the HDR screenshots, because otherwise they're taken as PNGs.   Also importantly, Windows explorer will not show a thumbnail preview of the HEIC files that cause an error in Photoshop (but will show thumbnails of "working" HEIC files like the ones from the camera I mentioned). Sometimes, and seemingly at random, Hue Sat layers will become blank (no UI) until I restart Photoshop. Unfortunately it only happens after having the program open for quite a while and I cannot at all tell what triggers it or how to reproduce. Let me know if there’s any sort of diagnostic I can provide, though. SysInfo and screenshot of what I’m talking about attached.

In the latest update Adobe changed the way EXR files are loaded in Photoshop (nobody asked for that, but hey, they know what ther’re doing! NOT.) Now you’re prompted to load the alpha as layer mask or transparency, but there’s no option to have it loaded as plain simple channel... (Adobe, do you know RGBA?)Can we have it back please? (And maybe do not break things in the future too?)

In the Dutch version of Photoshop 2026 on macOS, there is a confusing translation in the Actions panel.When you open “Handelingsopties” (Action Options) for an action and assign a Function Key shortcut, you can enable two modifiers: “Shift” and “Opdracht”. Since updating to 27.5 yesterday I’m encountering a bug where when I switch between channels of a Curves adjustment layer the active point is deselected. This breaks flow and slows down the process of getting the color right, which for me typically involves bouncing back and forth between 2 or all 3 color channels (working in RGB) and making one or two point adjustments with the arrow keys.  To reproduce:Make a new Curves layer Add a point somewhere in the middle of each of the R, G, and B channels.  Press Opt + 3, 4, or 5 to switch between the channels.  Prior behavior: you would still have selected and active the same, nth point on the curve. So, if you were on the Red channel and had tweaked a point in the middle, then switched to Blue which you hadn’t touched yet, you’d have the 255,255 point active since it was the second point on the curve. Once all three channels had a point though, switching between them would keep the midpoint selected for tweaking with the arrow keys. Current

Hi, whenever I try to use one of the gradients I've created using Adobe Color, I get the ominous "Could not complete your request because of a program error." message. This happens both with "Apply Gradient" and "Create Gradient Preset" in the Libraries panel.   I've encountered this bug both in current Photoshop Beta (Adobe Photoshop Version: 24.5.0 20230412.m.2137 91413a4 arm64) and Photoshop 2023 (Adobe Photoshop Version: 24.4.1 20230418.r.449 53a6c60 arm64). Running macOS Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68). Photoshop User Diagnostic Plugin output is attached for both beta and current Photoshop, also system information from beta.

The "import video to layers" features is unusable after the latest update. Since I use this feature all the time this is critical for me!   - i am using a .mov file that has worked before (prores 4444, 10mb, 3seconds) - clicking ok makes the dialog hang 30 seconds with spinning beach ball - "Making layers" process takes 7 minutes! It took 7 seconds before! - the opened layers are all empty   Macbook Pro M3 Pro, macOS 15.1.1 Photoshop 26.1.0 20241113.r.121

Has anyone been able to install PS 22.2 now that version 23 has released? I want to be able to use 3D for the lighting effects and have been waiting for 23 to release to be able to install it. All I see in the creative cloud is 22.5.2 

I would like to change the canvas size via action in Photoshop 27.4. I’ve tried to record changing canvas size but I doesn’t work correctly. The dimensions wasn’t saved. Steps to reproduce Open a document. Create a new action in the “Action” panel. The recording starts automatically Go to Image → Canvas Size… Let the units as it is. Switch the size mode from to Relative. Enter values for Width and Height Click OK to apply. Stop recording the action. In the action the appropriate parameter for Width and Height are empty. The same steps in Photoshop 27.2 working correctly. The same issue was reported for the Photoshop Beta here. P: Canvas Size relative Width/Height not recorded in Actions (values saved as blank) | Adobe DME A temporarly workaround is to deactivate “Enable Modern User Interface” option. After a restart of Photoshop it worked. 

VERSION: 27.5.0: While creating in Photoshop, if I hit CTRL + Z, it then reverts my artboard to a random save point. When I hit CTRL + Z + SHIFT, it as no effect. Essentially I can’t undo anything without starting over to a random point of my design.

I open EXR files in Photoshop almost 11 years. Now my work with this files completely broken. So, in order. I render in 3D image and save as open EXR 32-bit, no layers, only RGB. Open in photoshop and always choose “as alpha channel”. After this my files open as 1 layer with no mask and, most important, exactly as I see them in 3D software. In 27.5 open exr files was changed, now i cant open file with same color. Some screenshots -  option 1  I don’t see the sky, but it's there. Add black layer behind this Oh, i see my sky, but what's happening with building?Ok, try another options Wait, i say “layer user mask” but see transparency, ok it doesn't matter, add black and turn off mask. No sky. Try last.  Turn off the mask, and add black behind him. I see the sky. This is wrong. I want options “as alpha channel” like many years before. A don’t want to perform so many actions to just open file and work. You add something new? Ok, it’s fine, but why need broke old? Please, back this options.

Since version 27.4 and continuing in 27.5 I’ve been experiencing image flickering when using the Curves adjustment. In version 27.4, the issue occurs in all Curves use cases. In 27.5, it appears primarily when applying Curves as a Smart Adjustment on a Smart Object. It is slightly improved, but still noticeable when using Curves as a standard adjustment layer.I’ve attached a video demonstrating the issue: The first example shows Curves applied as a Smart Adjustment on a Smart Object (strong flickering). The second shows a direct adjustment on a non-Smart Object layer (no issue). The third shows a standard adjustment layer (minor flickering still visible). Traping appers much larger than the set values (pixels, milimetars, points).Example if you set 0.01mm in reality trapping is much bigger (0.05 or 0.1mm) and there is a visual diffrence between when you set your units to milimetars or pixels. Earlyer versions did not have that problem.

Photoshop 27.4.0 / macOS Sequoia 15.7.4In the “New fill or adjustment layer” context menu (pictured below), the “Solid Color…” option cannot be selected by pressing “S” on the keyboard. Instead, the menu toggles between “Selective Color…” and “Threshold”.Keyboard selection is also broken for the “Gradient…” and “Pattern…” fill layers in this menu. Along with “Solid Color…”, these three options were previously at the top of the menu.The issue of menu options being disconnected from keyboard presses occurs in other menus. For example, the “Mask All Objects” option in the layer context menu cannot be focussed using the “M” key.   

In Photoshop 27.4.0 you can't multiply dimensions with Image->Canvas Size tool. There's an error "A number between 1 and 300000 is required. Closest value insterted."Division, addition, subtraction are working as before.

Please help me with an issue.I specialize in photographing natural materials such as marble, granite, and wood veneer (I shoot flat surfaces, moving evenly across them). I create panoramic images, and from time to time I encounter a recurring problem. Photoshop stitches panoramas from my photos, but sometimes the result is not usable. It doesn’t happen often, but it does occur. I will provide several examples of the panoramas Photoshop produces and explain what exactly is wrong with them.In my workflow, I use Photoshop on both Windows workstations and Mac. On Mac, this issue happens rarely, but it still occurs. On Windows, it happens more frequently. In the past, there were times when Photoshop on both Windows and Mac would consistently produce panoramas with visible banding/seams.
