Hi,Is this a BUG?It happens after a new update. (2.57)

Sorry to bring this up again, previous thread is locked. The bug that has run throughout all of version v26 of photoshop is still here on my machine on v27. After opening a couple of raw files the 'Could not open 'file name' because of a program error' dialog is displayed until Photoshop is shut down. PS can be used okay without opening raw files, but it's fairly critical to my workflow so I'm still stuck on v25.9.   Has anyone actually found a fix for this other than building a new computer! I've tried uninstalling and cleaning all PS software and raw, uninstalling and reinstalling graphics card and drivers (radeon 6650xt on both adrenalin and pro drivers) win 10, i9700k 32gb ram. New realease 27.4 - Can't Exports Artboards as JPG and others formats (ctrl+alt+shift+W) Whenever you try to export artboards with 'Exports As' and choose JPG, it shows unknown error in all of them. Doesn't matter which way you try to do this or format - the window export is freezed (grey) - not JPG or PNG or others.*it's also happen in the beta version. Photoshop Ver: 27.4.0Beta Ver: 27.5.0 We'll be glad for a quick reply asap.

Photoshop 2026 wont let me download Neural Filters on a Apple MB. Steps taken as follows to troubleshoothave uninstalled PS and re installed log out and log in both on the Cloud and PS have use my mobile data (personal hotspot) as a wifiStill 0kb downloaded. PLEASE HELP

I installed Photoshop beta on Windows 10, which I regret insofar that all my file types are now hijacked by Beta. All my Photoshop files are now associated with beta. When I click any PSD file, beta opens. I cannot change file association in Windows 10, as Windows doesnt "see" regular Photoshop and wants to open the Windows App Store (for all other filetypes besides PSD normally associated with Photoshop).Any ideas how I can have Beta installed without this Photoshop filetype nightmare?

I have to manually disable this optionSteps to replicate it:Open Photoshop, create a new file and create a shape; Open the menu “View”, so “Show” and see that Target Path is enabled; Try to transform the shape, it will transform just a invisible bounding boxIt keeps turning on after you restart the app. I already reinstalled PS to see if it fixes the bug, but was not the case. Photoshop 23.2.1 Mac When you open a webp file and try to Export it with the "Save for Web (Legacy)" command, I get this error. "Could not complete this operation. an error occurred while reading the endian type" fyi The 'save as' option works.

Hi-In Photoshop 25.12 on Mac 14.6.1 going into the history flyout panel to "New Snapshot" no longer opens the additional options box for selecting current layer.  Instead, a new overal snapshot is produced like it would be if you clicked the little camera icon at the bottom of the palette.  Any idea if something has changed? 

OS: Latest Windows version.Photoshop: 27.3.1GPU: RTX 5070, latest driver. When using the Symmetry Tool to draw, the mirrored side doesn’t seem to take some brush settings into account and redraws an off-looking line, but brush path and stylus pressure sensitivity is still correctly mirrored.This is always true for both vertical and horizontal symmetry, but somehow redraws a perfect looking line in the opposite corner of a Dual Axis symmetry. Same for Mandala symmetry.Right side is the OriginalTop Right is the OriginalThe only exception is the Radial symmetry which reproduces perfect looking lines. Good morning everyone,out of the blue, Photoshop now saves WEBPs in 16bit only.This happens from any kind of source (PSD, JPG, PNG with or without alpha, CMYK TIFF with or without layers) with any WEBP compression, with Save As (for files that allow it) or Save As Copy.Source files are all 8bit.I first noticed the problem in version 27.4.0; I reverted back to 27.3.1, and even to 26.11.3 (which I was sure didn’t had this problem), and the problem still occours.This has been tested on multiple computers, all running Windows 11 24H2 (26100.7781); Windows and drivers are managed by IT, so there isn’t much I can do about those.Any help is appreciated.

Really annoying bug. I spend 10 minutes going through my list of fonts in Photoshop, clicking the star next to fonts I want to remember as "favorites". Many of these fonts are installed via fonts.adobe.com. But Photoshop keeps turning off the "favorite" star for many (but not all) of my font selections. I think I've figured out the cause: If I start Photoshop shortly after logging in, before the Adobe Creative Cloud magic has had time to activate all my fonts, the fonts that are not yet activated don't exist yet (as far as Photoshop is concerned), and they lose their "favorite" star. Once the star is turned off by this bug, it stays off until I go back into Photoshop (after the fonts have all been loaded) and turn the star back on again.

There is a similiar thread about this issue, but since it's years old (and marked as "solved") I will start a new bugreport. When I use the clone stamp, the source reference (the crosshair cursor) is not visible when you hide any selection.   CTRL + H = hide edges = hide clone stamp cursor.    I think it's a bug, since it doesn't make sense. I want to hide selection edges when cloning, but not the clone source/ crosshair itself.     Windows 11 | 64 bit | Photoshop 26.6.1      

Hi, been using PS for over 25 years.After upgrading to the latest version of PS (27.4.0) it seems that Adobe is changing the dialog boxes on the Mac to look a bit more ugly and less "Mac like". Things like the dialog box font has changed to whatever smaller and ugly font Adobe is using in PS and not matching the Mac OS font as it has been for many years. It is just not a nice looking interface.Additionally in the new Apply Image dialog box (and others), it no longer remembers the previous values from when you last used that command, which was really useful and constant feature since PS 4.0. This even worked when you quit the program and restarted but now this is broken.Please lets retain useful functionality.

This issue is making me nuts! When I save a file I'm working on, if I have documents open in floating tabs, the one I just saved goes to the back of the screen and a random floating tab that I'm not even working on pops to the front of the file I AM working on. It's forcing me to reselect the file I was just working on and this is very frustrating since sometimes I'll accidently do something to the file that just popped up in front wihtout realizing it. This seems to be a bug, it's never happened before and there's nothing in the preferences that addresses this. Video attached.  (I need to work in floating tabs  since I'm often dragging and droppping from one file to another. Consolidating all my windows every time I need to save is not a realistic workflow for me. 

OS: Windows 11 Versions: All version of PS after 2022 (as far as I cant tell).   While the drawing/painting with the Brushes panel open, it will sometimes flicker to a white image. The brushes disappear, and this image is seen:   Reproduction: Make strokes with various brushes. (I'm using a Wacom tablet.) This seems to occur most when switching to a new brush. However it is somewhat random. You may have to try mulitple brushes for 2-3 minutes before it appears.  Sometimes it happens right away, while sometimes it is less frequent. 

Just updated to latest version of Photoshop, version 27.0.0 on Windows. For some reason generative fill using either Gemini or Flux Kontext Pro is not working.    I make a selection In the contextual task bar I click on Generative Fill I select either Gemini or Flux I type a prompt (can literally be anything)   Photoshop shows the progress bar and it creates the Generative Fill layer. But at like 50/75% of progress the progress bar suddenly disappears and the generative fill layer also is gone. No errors, no crashes, just .. as if it never happened. Firefly generation works just fine. I have tried different images, from scratch, different prompts. It doesn't matter, the 3rd party generative options simply do not work for me. I have also installed the Photoshop beta just in case, and that has the same issue unfortunately.   What can be the cause? Is there some place where I can check logs for any possible errors?

When the detailed Layers panel is open, it sometimes obscures the image I’m working on. The usual 2-finger-drag gesture to move the image on the screen doesn’t work when the Layers panel is open. Workaround is to close the Layers panel, move the image with a 2-finger drag, and then reopen the Layers panel, which isn’t an ideal workflow. Thanks for listening.

After selecting download, the loading bar goes to 68% and doesn’t move anymore.  After pressing cancel, this message appears. 

After updating to the latest version of Photoshop, we encountered an issue where images saved from Facebook from the previous year display color distortions when opened in the program. However, images saved recently from Facebook open without any issues and display correctly.        

In Photoshop 27.4, the new Canvas Size window is missing the Windows ALT shortcuts (pressing ALT+W to highlight the Width and ALT+H to highlight the Height). This happened in 25.4 with the Image Size window and was fixed due to complaints, so I’m assuming this was an oversight due to Adobe being MacOS-first, and I’m reporting it as a bug rather than a feature request. But these shortcuts are ABSOLUTELY VITAL to the efficient operation of Photoshop and CANNOT be forgotten about.FOR NOW, you can turn “Modern User Interface” off to get the old Canvas Size window back, but for how long?(Yes I know Microsoft themselves have stopped being as consistent about remembering to exclude them, and they’re off by default in Windows 11 Explorer and have to be turned back on. No I don’t care. They’re VITAL.)

The Content Credentials (beta) panel is not showing in the Window menu. I can still search for it in the search bar, and it points to the Window menu though.When I open the panel (via search), it displays the following error message:The help page documentation says that the preferences/settings for content credentials can be found alongside History in Settings/Preferences. However, there is no longer a content credentials option there.Was Content Credentials quietly killed off and there are just some breadcrumbs left or is this a bug?
