I have a process i do every other month. And with the latest Photoshop M1 edition it now ads a -1/-2/-3 on the artboards. So where i used to get "intro_1@2x.png" i now get "intro_1-1@2x.png" . As you can see, the file should not include the new aded -1. And there is a lot of files for all mobile devices both iOS and Android. So the files i get is this. But they should be named like this: This totaly destroys the procees and i have to spend time removing the extra number every time i export. I have read that this can be fixed with a "use legacy" setting in the export settings, but thats not avilable on the Mac M1 edition.
Hi Since I upgraded to the latest version 23.2.0, photoshop crashes all the time I try to open psd files. Unchecked the Use Graphics Processor feature, but it doesn't fix the issue. Does anybody help me? Thanks
Everytime I adjust the border radius of a shape from the shape tool the whole program decides to crash. I tried updating photoshop to the lastest version (+installing older versions) I tried updating my computer. (Currently on MacOS Monterey 12.2) and still nothing. This is happening on 2022 photoshop 23.1.1.
I've been having this issue in the last week where I'll crop an image and go to Filters > Sharpen > smart sharpen and as soon as I do, it looks like it shifts the image about 5-ish pixels to the left and reveals the same image 'beneath' despite there being no additional layers or anything. It's the same smart sharpen settings I was using before the last week just fine. I both updated to the latest version of PS and even tried it on my bf's laptop and it does the same so this leads me to believe it's a bug. Help!
I'm finding this tool really buggy. If I drag out a plane, all it's control points are intact, if I then command-drag off another plane, then delete it, the original plane losing some of it's control points. The same happens if I undo also
I seem to have stumbled into an odd bug when printing from Photoshop to an Epson P5000. I am experiencing this bug on two different Intel CPU Macs, both running Big Sur. I have tried both Photoshop 2021 and Photoshop 2022, as well as Lightroom Classic. I have deleted Photoshop preferences galore, and I have deleted and reset print systems and print queues galore. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Epson print drivers galore. The issue is this: When I select an ICCv4 profile in Photoshop's profiles list, the "Print Settings…" button stops working. If I try to print anyway, the print will come out blank. This is the case whether I created the profiles with my own i1Profiler, or with profiles I download from paper manufacturers. I have some profiles downloaded from Moab that are ICCv2 and created with basICColor and the bug is not present. I download profiles from other paper manufacturers that are ICCv4, and the bug comes back. I create profiles with my own i1Profiler and make t
Same problem. Been using Photoshop since 1.0. Upgrades to Intel 12900K, and constant app 'disappearing' and losing my work.
Preface: I have been encountering a slew of new issues regarding linked smart objects. Getting postion and scaling information is vital for me to to my job in a production environment, and suddenly two different files have been producing the same issue. I need to get this issue resolved, as it is creating a huge blocker in my workflow.Issue: Linked smart objects do not adjust scale value. Not matter how I scale a linked smart object, the Width and Height no longer update. Not while making the adjustment, or even after I accept the adjustment. It always just stays locked at 100%. Reset Transform will reset the smart object back to its starting state, but the pertinent information to me is that percentage scale factor. Some files will link and display the infromation correctly, while others will randomly fail.Additional information:I am using Artboards to create various layouts. Assets being linked in are .PNG as well as .PSD'sFiles being linked are linked via a local google drive direct
When i duplicate a layer group with hidden layers the hidden layers are turned back on within the new duplicated group . Is it possible to keep the turn hidden and visble the same as the original group.
Way to reproduce the error: 1) Create a new Photoshop document 2) Place a linked raw file into said document and ensure that the colors deviate visibly from the default 3) Create another new Photoshop document 3) Repeat step 2 with the same or another color profile 4) Now switch back to the first Photoshop document and the colors will be reset to default. The same behavior can be observed for multiple open documents. Given that the raw image is linked and based on the xmp file saved next to it by default, one would expect that if there was any change, it would be an update to the new profile. Sure enough, if one reopens the Camera Raw dialog in any of the open documents, they all update to the current color profile.
A while ago I was resizing images using the Move Tool with a particular Image Interpolation selected under General Preferences. Thsi is no longer working - No matter which Iamge Interpolation I choose, it is resizing in the same way every time. It's difficult to tell which setting it's using, however it's definitly not working as I can tell that Nearest Neibough isn't working and all other options resize in a way that is different to what I was using previously. Image Interpolation does still work correctly if I adjust the image using the "Image Size" optionm however I need to do this using the Move Tool. I'm guessing this is a bug, or am I missing something? I need this fixing ASAP and am a little disappointed I'm paying a subscriptiosn for updates to ruin my workflow.
This crash is 100% reproductible in my Photoshop 23.1.0, running on Windows 11. Here are the steps to reproduce: 1. Create a new document and a new layer in that document 2. Click the magnifier button in the upper right ("Search for tools, help and more") 3. Type "rename" in the search box 4. Select the "Rename layer" option that appears 5. Enter a name for the layer and hit Enter on the keyboard 6. Observe the crash None of the suggestions from this page help with this issue: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-crash-or-freeze.html?trackingid=W2T7JV6Q&mv=in-product&mv2=ps I know there are easier ways to rename a layer, but still, I thought it would be good to let you know of this crash.
Version: Photoshop 23.2.2 (but has probably been this way for many years) OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Version 21H1 Steps to reproduce: Choose the Brush tool. Click once. Change the brush size or foreground color. Hold down Shift and click again. Expected result: Photoshop draws a straight line between the two points, with the new brush size and foreground color. Actual result: Photoshop draws a single brush shape in the second location. It appears that Photoshop forgets the previously clicked location when brush parameters are changed. I haven't tested farther, but there are probably other parameters that cause the same behavior. Why it matters: I edit a lot of architectural interiors, and frequently draw narrow, straight lines when masking window dividers, etc. I often change brush size and color (black or white) on the fly. The current behavior often requires me to go back and click a second time, after I've already lined up the mouse on the second endpoint. This isn't a big dea
This is a really annoying mistake in Photoshop and Illustrator, probably others. When I make a new document, enter dimensions in the "width" field, then hit tab, it should move focus to "height." Instead, it moves to the units. This is just wrong. Seems like a minor nitpick, but this is just one of many small UI mistakes that make these expensive programs harder to use than they should be. Please fix ASAP. Thanks.
Hi everyone, I just noticed a bug affecting the Transform tool in PS CC: the OK button is either hidden or it doesn't have a specific width. I initially thought it was dropped in this version of PS but then I realized it exists and it's somehow squeezed and rendered very small, with only a few pixels of it visible. Thanks, looking forward to a fix, here is a screenshot of the instance.
Now there is a new problem with the colorize filter since installing the latest version of PS. Before with the older version the filter would not download and someone came up with a fix that involved removing the files that had the word colorize in it and then it downloaded fine(thank you) Now I can get the filter to colorize ok,but when I try to click on image to modifiy the color in certain areas, PS puts up a message saying the filter has been temporarily disabled. Is this happening for others? If so does Adobe not check these things before releasing an update, this is the second update in a row to have problems with the colorize neural filter! I'm betting this is the most used neural filter and yet it has the most issues. PS-72397
I've read all the other posts on this, people having isues and then they realise the issue is what they're viewing it in - but this is not the case here - I have a video to prove it. When I save for web, and select the gif looping option to 'once', when I click save you can see it changing itself back to 'forever', and then saves a continuouslyt looping gif. It took me a long time to notice this, but I finally caught it on video. It only happens sometimes - but is very frustrating as I have no control over this simple command - for it to do as I'm telling - paying - for it to do. I test the gifs afterwards by dragging into Chrome - whoch does show gifs correctly and will show a gif only once if thats how it has been saved (unlike preview which alwasy loops regardless). Video attached...
I just noticed that, on the first launch (and subsequent if no user intervention), the layer comps panel opens with the first button partially hidden, PS 23.2.1, Win 10 20H2. I tried resetting the Workspace, and when I add layer comps, it opens like this: BTW, if I float the panel, it opens in front of the home page, I thought this was fixed.
As of today I have noted a new change on the workflow. Previously I could get to the preview view of a shared psdc to view review comments by clicking in the email notification link. Today, instead of taking me to the file, to see the notes as expected, it instead directs me to the https://creativecloud.adobe.com/cc/?locale=en folder view where I then have to seek out the file in question. As I am working on several files at a time this breaks my workflow as I then have to work out which file the email was notifying me about. That it truncates the file name wasn't an issue before but now I have to seek out the file in question, nor being able to see the entire file name in the email doesn't help. (Long filenames are set by the needs of the production and not something I am able to change).
Version 22.5.6 release, however, this can also be reproduced in other versions such as 23.2.2, Mac OS 11.6.4. Steps to reproduce: * Applicable content on a layer (pixel data, text etc) * No selection 1) Record a new action 2) Select move tool (it would be nice if an action recorded this step, but that is a separate feature request) 3) Click the toolbar icon ... align & distribute 4) Set the align to value: canvas (this step is not shown in the action step as recorded) 5) Align as required, X and or Y axis 6) Stop recording 7) Using the move tool, adjust the position or undo/step back in history to before the alignment/s 😎 Set the align & distribute value: selection 9) Play the action Result: An error "The command align is not currently available" is reported. This indicates that there is a problem with the recorded step 4. I know that this step is recorded into the action, even if it is not shown in the interface. 1) I
If in photoshop 2022 (23.2.2) and photoshop 2021 (22.5.6) windows and mac, one has a pixel layer, selects the Move Tool with Show Transform Controls enabled and then does a Select All, the layer bounding box goes from surrounding the pixel layer bounds to whole canvas. Does not happen with shape layers, move tool selected bounding box around layer select all bounding box moxes to cover whole canvas
Photoshop bug in rendering "SF Pro Bold" font. Any documents with this font will open with a warning to update text layers. If Update is selected, the font loses it's Bold setting and renders incorrectly. This occurs on macOS 12.3 (Intel and M1), and PS 23.2.2
Not sure if this is an iPad only issue but, Filicudi color font does not have color in photoshop iPad
In Photoshop CC inside the Liquify tool holding down ctrl+alt+click and drag(on mac) no longer allows you to change the size of the brush. Also in the liquify tool(no specific to CC) the fist time you use brackets ([,]) to change the brush size the size first moves in the wrong direction, then gets back to your original brush size, then goes in the direction you are trying to get to.
I now have a new problem on my PC running Windows 10. Photoshop continues to run after I exit the program regardless of whether I shut down by clicking X in upper corner of window or from menu, File > Exit. It is using 10.8% of my processing power after exiting - see attached shot from Task Manager. I have checked that I have the latest video card drivers according to menu item Help > GPU Compatibility. I also used the Creative Cloud Cleaner following instructions in this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/nz/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html It behaves this way even though I do a complete power shut down, not just a restart. I am using the latest Photoshop version 23.2.1. @Daniel Presedo @PECourtejoie
