1. The Photoshop 2018 Pen tool has different path color to choose from. But it's annoying to me to switch over and over in different circumstances. For example, The path color is Blue and I'm working some kind of image that has the blue color. In this case, the path becomes way too hard to follow to adjust the anchors. Because the path color isn't BLENDING with the color underneath like it was in Photoshop CC 2017. Example: 2. The Rubberband. The rubber band is way good in Phootshop 2017. But in 2018 photoshop, when I'm working on path rubber band act like it's vibrating or something similar. It's just not stable in connecting to the pen.I have been using Photoshop since CS2. I experienced the same problem in the Photoshop CS5 and 5.5. And it was fixed in CS6 till CC 2017. And the problem just got back with the different color though. So I wanted to let Adobe know to fix this problem with the Pen tool. I checked this with my friend's computer and it's the same. I'm
Photoshop 22.0.1. Tested on three machines, one is a Mac. How to replicate: enter/change white point or any RGB xy values, close the window. Reenter to check. Slightly different xy numbers and the white point resets to D50. It's not just a refresh bug, saved profiles reflect the displayed numbers. Confirmed by other users too: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop/color-settings-custom-rgb-choosing-exact-custom-primaries-no-longer-works/m-p/11621651?page=1 I used/use this simple tool to derive custom linear scanner profiles based on the exact scanner color space/spectral sensitivity.
Fore refreence I upgraded my i7 6700K CPU to a new i7 12700KF which came out this month. Photoshop 2022 has been working perfect on the old CPU and only recently I got round to using Photoshop only to find it will not load images due to a crash bug on the new CPU system. I can replicate this bug so it is definitely a bug in the 2022 version of PS currently on the Creative Cloud. I can uninstall and reinstall and still get the same issue. This bug does not exist on Photoshop 2021 having done some testing with that too. If I launch Photoshop 2022 and open any image, the app crashes with no error. Just closes itself. If I go to Task Manager in Windows with Photoshop open and then manually assign affinity to only the P-Cores of the 12700K then I can load any image and work on them no problems at all. This confirms to me that Photoshop 2022 has an issue where it crashes when Intel thread Director and WIndows 11 assign Photoshop threads to the CPU and as some will be rsid
The system automatically updated to PS 23.0. Now the PS crashes when trying to zoom in or tilt the image by hand on the touchscreen. I tried to disable the graph
1. Make a measurement (ex: count particles on an image) 2. On the Measurement Log panel select the data rows 3. Right click - export 4. Type any filename, keep extension to default "TXT (Tab delimited) (.txt)" 5. Photoshop creates a file named "filename.txt)"
EVERY TIME I TRY to go to image>Adjustments>Replace Color, IT DOES NOT WORK!!! NO MATTER WHAT OPTIONS I choose from the dialog box, color is NEVER replaced with another color!!! EVERYTHING stays the EXACT SAME as if I never did a thing!!! I googled the problem but ONLY results about it replacing it with an incorrect color or shade of color came up, NOTHING about it NOT working AT ALL!!!
An image is worth a thousand words : Left, Photoshop CC, right Photoshop Cs6. In both versions, I can hide the result of a vector mask by shift-clicking on the mask's thumbnail in the layers panel (big red cross). in Cs6, i then saw the path (italic "vector path of layer 0") and could edit that. in CC, when a mask's result is not shown, i don't see its path in the path panel, and can't edit that. Workaround : use the properties panel and set the mask opacity to less than 100%, but it requires 2 clicks...

Hi, there is something weird during export img to jpg file. Export dialog generates some 1px outline around image which is not nice in final project.
Just an itty-bitty bug.To reproduce: In the Layers panel, under the New Adjustment Layer menu (circle with a slash), the "Black White" menu option is missing the ampersand (&) (i.e. it should be "Black & White").To fix: Add another ampersand beside it. This is almost certainly because the ampersand was not escaped, since Windows detects ampersands as access keys.
I have a number of layer groups that are masked to the edge of the artboard. When I use generator to export them without resizing them, the exported PNGs align perfectly. If I then manually resize the separate PNGs they remained aligned. When I add 1000x1000 in front of the image title in the layer group to resize them, they will sometimes align but most often be offset randomly by between 10 and 50 pixels or so.Occasionally the output PNGs will be cropped to 1000x1000 instead of being resized, though this behavior happens more rarely.Original photoshop:resized images composited together: Can this be fixed?
Photoshop 2017 crashes all the time
When working with a PSD of artboards with multiple layers, and snapping turned on, a "bouncing" of an object or bounding box can occur when in free transform mode. https://twitter.com/erichilliard/stat...
Here is simple script - Photoshop2018selectDialogBug.js with just a one line of code: Folder.selectDialog("Please select folder to process"); As you can see on screenshot “Photoshop CC 2018 selectDialog.png” latest Photoshop CC 2018 19.1.0 popups wrong folder select dialog window. In previous Photoshop versions (e.g. CC 2017 or even CC 2018 19.0.0) it shows right dialog window - “Photoshop CC 2017 selectDialog.png”. In new selectDialog window there are no prompt string that was passed to the function: “Please select folder to process”.This issue is also occur with Folder object method selectDlg()https://www.dropbox.com/sh/c3f12lb160tmuqa/AAAojZgXzFdmflPeW3UclVVAa?dl=0
I've recently been forced in to using a macbook at work. Don't worry, this isn't going to turn in to a rant about how much I dislike macs, and why they are so much more faffy than PCs... however, there's one tiny little thing in Photoshop that has really been bugging me in the mac version...When you go to change a layer name, if you happen to have copied text from elsewhere that you want to paste in as the name, if you right click and then try to paste it doesn't work!!! It's SO frustrating! You HAVE to use cmd V to paste it in, which is all good and fine when your left hand is in that area, but a lot of the time (for me) it's not, either because of my sitting position or because I'm being lazy (which is my choice!) either way, not being able to paste by right clicking is really annoying.Any chance this simple thing can be fixed?
After upgrading to Photoshop 21.1 a path looks very jaggy. Like there is no antialiasing. And it seems that there is noch visual difference between a strength of 0,5 pixel and 0,7 pixel and 1 pixel.
Example: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2652220Seems to be an issue exclusive to OSX.
In the 21.1 update, vector/shape behaviours have changed and are pretty much broken. I posted a few days ago about copying from shape to shape being broken and an Adobe employee confirmed that it's a bug.Today I discovered that copying and pasting a vector/shape from Photoshop to Illustrator no longer works at all. I assume these two issues are related.I'll be reverting back to PS 20 for now, this most recent thrown a big monkey wrench into my daily workflow. I would advise people NOT to update if you do lots with shapes in Photoshop.
Photoshop 21.1 - When I hold down ctrl with a text layer "active" and attempt to resize it via the handles, it no longer "live" scales. I have to let go of the mouse for the text to update to the correct size.It works fine for free transform though.
I have reproduced a bug forwarded to me by a student, using a second machine. Some problem occurs when PSD files are saved from Photoshop including non-trivial layer masks with the feather layer property set. it is difficult for me to tell whether the PSD file is corrupted or whether the PSD file is misread by multiple other applications.Steps to reproduce:1. Load an image in PS.2. Add an adjustment layer (I used brightness/contrast, and set brightness down to make the effect observable.)3. Set the layer feathering property on the adjustment layer to a non-trivial value, say, 50%.4. Paint on the layer in such a way that the mask itself is non-trivial.5. Save the result as PSD.6. Load the image into any of a variety of applications (including LR Classic and OSX Preview), note the image looks as if the layer mask was improperly computed. Notes:A. I have reproduced this bug with different images.B. Both I am my student
The Export As functionality seems to have a serious bug in the latest version. When I go to export a file, and select a size smaller than the file size, the text effects and the positioning of the text on the document is not getting resized while the graphics are.I am taking a larger file (2500px) and resizing on export to 700px and when I do the blending options of 29px stroke are not getting resized on export. So, now I have to export it by rasterizing it first. Very frustrating...
With v21.1.0 of photoshop, when I use the color picker, memory goes out the roof and the application freezes. Simple to reproduce. I have 2 images, use color picker on one and then select paint brush. That's it. I have to force quit after that. This never happened before now. This mac is brand new and has sufficient horse power (Mojave 10.14.6, 3/6 GHz Intel Core i9, 32 GB DDR4 memory, Radeon Pro 4 GB graphics) and only have a couple of applications installed - so still pretty clean. Oh, and in preferences Photoshop has an 80% memory setting for performance. Any help would be apprecianted.
Has anyone run into an issue where, with fade up from or to black on a background layer in an animation tiimeline the scrubber stops at the fade and pops up an unexplained "program error." Seems only to be on the background layer. No issue with a straight fade. (When it's a fade up, the scrubber won't even start and throws off the error. When it's a fade down, scrubber gets to fade and stops.)OS Mojave 10.14.6, PS 21.0.0
Finally I am seeing people having similar issues with PS 2020 and hoping to make some noise and get Adobe to address this bug eventually.Every time I close and reopen PS, on my WIN PC or WIN laptop, it resets the panels to it's default values. It all started with the layers panel, shuffing all my custom, neatly organized layer styles into one folder calling it 'Your Styles', resets the panel settings and adds the default layer styles. The same goes for the Brushes and Swatches Panel now, only started a day or two ago. But these two panels get completly wiped out, removing all my custom assets and leaving me with the default assets and resetted panel settings.I have done so much troubleshooting which did not make one bit of a difference, even uninstalled the whole CC suit and starting from scratch.Adobe community thread: https://adobe.ly/2vhbIzKMany, many more people reporting this issue! Thanks.Janine
Hi Adobe,I just bought a brand-new Mac, which shipped with macOS Catalina 10.15.2. I went to the Adobe Website and installed the latest Creative Cloud Desktop App, and Photoshop CC 2020 (latest version). Whenever I double-click a .PSD or .JPG file in the macOS Finder, with Photoshop set as my default App, The Photoshop Application itself opens, but the file does not open, so I have to manually choose File > Open, navigate to the file in the folder. This is especially disruptive to my creative workflow, since I use many different versions of my .PSD and .JPG files in the Finder and right click and then choose open with Photoshop CC 2020. I've tried reinstalling macOS (clean install), and updating to macOS 10.15.3, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop and Bridge several times but the issue persists. Could you please help me get Photoshop to open images by selecting (Open with > Photoshop 2020) from the macOS Finder? I read somewhere online that it may be a macOS Launc
