Sometimes if I have multiple files open in tabs, when I select another tab from the one I am working on, I will continue to see the tab I just navigated from until I resize the entire window. This also applies to tab groups of other windows such as character, paragraph, properties, layers, etc. So for example, I will be in the Layer tab in a tab group, click on the Properties tab, and continue to see layers even though the Properties tab is selected. Then when I resize the window, I'll see the correct content in the tab. Sometimes, opening an additional file has also fixed the problem. This doesn't happen consistently enough to replicate on command, it only seems to happen once every few days, and on completely random files. Still, this is a huge disruption to my workflow.

When I use the arrange layers shortcuts on windows PS cc 2021 October release some pannels go black and then transparent once used. They can not be retrieved without a restart.      

Hey everyone, I updated my Apple Macbook to Mojave. Unfortunately I discovered that there are lots of error going on afterwards. I tried to update my "Adobe Photoshop CC 2017" version to the 2019 one but it says there is a bug and I have to update my Creative Cloud. Creative Cloud however, needs to be repaired because of Mojave and it doesn't work anymore, so I cannot do that either.. or at least I'm not finding a page, where I can "just" download the newest Mojave version for Creative Cloud to update it (for free), so that I can update Photoshop as well, that I monthly pay/subscribe. I cannot even update it on my Mac, cause it's always broken and needs to be repaired.Mojave definitely affects my Photoshop. I cannot even open my pre-saved PSD files and edit them anymore. So my question is: Where do I start, what do I do to solve all my problems? Thanks!

Hi,   I've encountered a bug in the new version of Photoshop. After using the Libraries panel (I selected a color) the Undo command becomes unavailable and greyed out. To get Undo ability back I simply need to hide Photoshop and unhide it again. Not a major issue since the fix is easy, but it is annoying.   I'm on a Mac Pro 3.5 GHz 8 Core Intel Xeon running Mac OS X Catalina

Photoshop: after update to ver.21.1.0 the preview toggle switch ('p' on keyboard) doesn't work in CURVES panel. In HUE/SAT and other panels it usually does work. Reinstalled PS (without keeping prefs) but problem persists. Clicking the preview checkbox works OK, but using that 'p' on the keyboard is crucial for me: I use it hundred times a day...

This bug started occurring in 21.1.1 I think and still occurs in 21.1.2. Only occurs when using a tablet. When holding 'ALT' whilst lasso tool is selected (in order to temporarily toggle polygonal lasso tool) there is about a one second 'window' between presses on the canvas where PS registers all the movement of the pen between clicks and counts it as 'lasso' input, despite the ALT 'toggle' being active and pen not in contact with tablet. Normal behaviour should be that PS only records the movement when pen is touching tablet. I am lifting the pen inbetween presses and always have ALT held to keep the tool in polygon lasso mode...you will see it does not behave as expected and the selection has a second where it registeres movement despite the pen hovering above the

You can no longer select the vector mask thumbnail in Photoshop CC after it has been disabled on the layer. In previous versions of Photoshop, I was able to click on the vector mask thumbnail after it has been disabled and edit what I want to exclude from the vector mask or edit the paths that I created.

Since updating to 21.1.0, I've noticed something weird - when opening an image, the thumbnail for the Background layer is ok, but as soon as I create an empty layer, or duplicate the layer, or just turn the Background layer into a regular layer, then the layer thumbnails appear "contracted". This image shows how the Layers palette (and more specifically, the layer thumbnails) looks like when opening a new document, and how it looks like just after clicking the "new layer" button: Anyone else experiencing the same? I'm using Windows 10, by the way.

A script is working properly on Mac, but not Windows. Users are expected to paste multi-line text into a text field. New 64 bit droplets are not working in macOS Catalina and Photoshop 20.0.6. When I save a droplet, it's showing an incorrect modification date and time in the Finder of Aug 13, 2019 at 11:56pm. Droplets open but do not complete any actions or give any errors, they just don't run.

When opening photoshop file in photoshop 2020, empty debug.log is created in the same path. Annoying. Anyone working on that issue?

Photoshop up to date, yet the Vanishing Point interface is ridiculously slow and laggy when panning and zooming.  Extending and resizing the perspective planes is not quick and responsive - there's a lot of drag .. wait ...adjust ... wait...   And Alt-Tabbing out of and back into Photoshop changes the tool selected in Vanishing Point back to the Grid if previously on Clone.  Clicking starts producing another grid until one realizes that you need to RE-select the tool you WERE using prior.   And there's no warning dialog ("I see you've done a lot of grid making and painting - are you SURE you meant to hit Escape?") when closing out the Vanishing Point interface by accident.   And you can't PAN when the image is at 100% or smaller .. which is helpful when you want to manipulate grids that extend beyond the canvas.

In the CS5.5 Shadow/Highlights adjustment pane, if you tab down to the adjustments to Color correction and/or Midtone Contrast, then type in a number, it enters the digits right-to-left, not left to right. e.g. Tab, tab, tab, tab, tab, tab 1, 2..yields a Color Correction of 21, not 12.

When the German edition is executing a fill pattern script, it does not recognize script files whose names start with the underline character, n particular, I wrote scripts a few years ago, put them in the Marketplace, and last week got a complaint from a Swiss/German user that my trial file didn't work. That script contains the line:   Engine.evalFile ("_Deco_for_Wallpaper2.jsxbin")   which causes an error that the German edition does not find the _Deco file, even though it is in his directory in the proper location.

Latest update (21.2.3) fixed pen pressure issues but now after painting a few brush strokes the pen stops working at all or pressure stops working until I click with my mouse on the screen of my tablet, then same thing happens again and again.  WIN 10 intel i7 and CINTIQ DTH-1300 tested with windows ink off and on and with and without graphics proccesor selected on performance. This doesn´t happen with other software.-

Moving the "Layer Opacity" slider (AND/OR while pressing on "opacity" and moving the cursor) does not affect the image as you go. Instead, it waits until you let go of the cursor (i.e, set a value) and only then it will render the resulting image. Win 10 64-bit

Our company relies upon a number of batch operation scripts (.jsx). The most recent update (PS 21.0.1) breaks a very convenient feature.What we want fixed- Run an action via keyboard shortcut from the home screen of Photoshop (no documents open). [1 user operation]What we're dealing with- The action needs to be run via the menu (File > Scripts > Browse > Find Script)  [4+ user operations]- Open a document, then use the keyboard shortcut (this doesn't work for batch operations unless the script is altered to close the active document before running)

I've just discovered that the fix doesn't apply to Frames. Copy a framed image from one document and paste-in-place into another and the offset is wildly wrong.That's with selecting the frame to copy. Selecting the image rather than the frame and then pasting into a new document does paste the image with correct offsets, but of course it's no longer framed.Photoshop 21.1.1, MacOS 10.13.6Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: Photoshop: Paste in place shifting error.

In Photoshop CC and CS6 (only if latest update has been applied, apparently), mouse clicks on the canvas area (*not in menus or palettes*) are lagged after using a Wacom tablet. Detailed explanation: • When starting Photoshop, mouse works okay. Then, if I switch to my Intuos Pro (latest drivers), everything is fine too. • But here comes the problem: when I switch back to the mouse, the very first mouse click (after switching from tablet) is NOT lagged, but the rest from then on, ARE. • If the switch from tablet to mouse is done very quickly (clicking on canvas or ruler area with the pen while swiftly clicking with the mouse), then the lag does not happen. • Closing Photoshop and re-opening it gets rid of the lag, until the tablet is used (then the problem starts again when switching to the mouse). Whenever I tried to Window->Arrange ... to put my reference photo side by side, 6 times out of 10 the zoom function stop working properly and I have to close photoshop and re-opened it again. It is a very annoying bug.
