I have a repeatable bug where Premiere will crash from the new Color panel if you select a clip and choose “Reveal in Project”.
After generating captions, when I go to export to srt or text file the app crashes. I am on the latest version.
Hello Premiere Pro Team,Video: Bug showcasePremiere Pro currently does not handle large selections well. As you can see in the video, It takes roughly 2-3 seconds to move Adjustment Layers that don’t have any effects on them and that effectively don’t render anything (there is no video anywhere below them). Unfortunately the Effect Controls panel wasn’t captured correctly but indeed none of those layers contain any effects or keyframes. This slow down will be amplified as soon as effects are applied on the Adjustment Layers.Copying a selection like this also take a few seconds.Using the latest Premiere Pro Beta version (b58).Thanks,will
Hello Premiere Team, when you create a Graphic Layer, set custom in and out handles (by dragging them from the effect controls panel), place *any* Sapphire effect on it and keyframe it, and then paste that Graphic Layer into another Sequence, Premiere Pro will crash.I’ve attached a video here showcasing this bug:Graphic Layers Custom Fades Sapphire Paste CrashThis will only happen if you have these custom in and out fades for the graphic layer. It won’t crash otherwise. And it also only happens for Sapphire effects.I am using the latest Premiere Pro Beta version (b58).Thank you for your hard work, will
Hello Premiere Pro team, I’ve attached two videos showcasing this bug:Video: Selecting a single clipVideo: Selecting Multiple ClipsThe effect control panel now updates every frame when you move the cursor. I am sure this is not how it used to be and it unfortunately slows down the application.Expected outcome: The effect control panel only updates or gets the selection made by the cursor once the user lets go of the left mouse button instead of everytime when the cursor is moved. Thank you for your hard work, will
Using the latest release of Premiere Pro (Beta) 26.3.0.054 (2026-04-24).Thankfully, making adjustments in Color Mode, the program no longer crashes.Unfortunately, adjusting any level (except “Balance”), the Program Monitor and Hud Display flicker. The adjustments are not smooth whether moving vertically or horizontally. They work. It’s just that now they flicker and are slow to catch up to the mouse movement. While moving the mouse, the display bounces between the current level of the clip and the adjusted level. When mouse movement stops, you can see the new level in the Hud and Program Monitor. When clicking off of the adjustment, the Hud closes and the Program Monitor shows the new levels.Again, the “Balance” adjustment is the only one that works smoothly.Bob K.
Anyone experiencing Media Encoder 26.0 running extremely slow and only using a small percentage of their GPUs?
Recently, updated the Beta. Seems like there was more than one this week. Please investigate an instability of the software for me when utilizing the auto-transcription. At least the transcription is open while scrubbing to trim my clip. I realize it is a Beta version and not complaining, just observing that I was able to repeat the actions that produced the crash of the program
Color Mode style previews, specifically when adding to a sequence, all the previews look the same.
26.3.0 BETA (Build 44) contains this error: if a sequence contains a scaled MOGRT clip with Motion → Scale set to 50% or less, the Program Monitor preview scales incorrectly unless High Quality Playback is enabled.

I have been using Premiere Pro for over 15 years, and this is the first time a core feature feels like a major step backwards. The new Color Mode in beta version is extremely difficult to use with a mouse. The circular controls are too small and lack precision, making fine adjustments frustrating and unreliable. What used to be quick and accurate with sliders now takes significantly longer and slows down the entire workflow. This system feels designed for hardware control panels, not for editors working with a mouse and keyboard. In its current form, it is not practical for real-world use.Additionally, the fact that the sequence window disappears when entering Color Mode is highly disruptive. Losing access to the timeline while grading breaks the editing flow and makes the process unnecessarily complicated. At the moment, this new Color Mode does not provide any clear advantages over Lumetri. Instead, it removes precision, reduces efficiency, and introduces friction into everyday editing.
Las ruedas de color no funcionan en la version que tengo instalada, version 26.3 de premiere Beta, no bajan ni suben y hacer con un parpadeo donde intentan bajar la intensidad o subir, estoy trabajando en una Macbook
Premiere Beta, new color page.Click to toggle on any of the controls, move mouse left to right or up and down, or alternatively use the arrow keys, and both the HUD and the footage flash between the original raw image data and the new updated data, on every data change, so when you move the mouse and up down it’s just a flashing mess on both the HUD and the viewer. I can provide a video if you need to see the problem since it’s a visual bug. Another problem I’ve experienced is clicking around different style presets will sometimes crash premiere. I tried the direct link provide here: But that did not help with the Beta version.
In new update color mode lag so much in windows. Contrast, exposure, temperature & saturation not working properly.
As per the title, downloaded Premiere Beta to try the new color mode, couldn’t even try anything as it instantly crash as soon any attempt of changing any parameter is made. Also tried this on two different machine, on my Mac M1 Max and on my Windows PC with a 4090 and 92Gb of RAM.Same results in both instances.
Whenever, i am coming to the Color Control panel, premiere pro is being crashed.
Using a Wacom Cintiq with stylus for most inputs. In the color panel, sliders flicker and resist precise control, as if pen and mouse inputs conflict. Please advise if a setting is needed to prioritize stylus input.
when I want to use color correction wheels, corrections jumping between 0 and current value. this bug appears when adjusting using the touchpad and arrows
Adobe Premiere Beta. In Color Mode, Clip Adjustment: Select the eyedropper (Sample hue from the image) in "Color Shift". With the eyedropper active, I placed it over the skaters orange top to try and isolate that color to change the hue. The Beta version crashes immediately at different times. 1. Hovering over the image. 2. Left-Clicking on the image. 3. After a left-click on the image, left-click on “Color Shift: Lum Shift” icon and attempt to adjust the hue. This post was first posted in Adobe Aero accidentally. It was copied here.
I was working in color mode just fine yesterday on version 26.2. Now after updating to 26.3 every time i move a setting in the new color panel, inside the color mode tab, it just crashes. Note: it doesn't crash in the edit tab, when selecting a clip and adjusting color through the sliders.
Repeated crashes after installing update. Also lumetri color auto adjustment taken away. Tried your new setup, even watched video. Not user friendly. Used lumetri color in the effect controls to auto adjust but keeps crashing. Help!
When trying to use the “ellipse tool” no shape is forming on the screen. The effect, just disappears
I ran a backup of my drive array yesterday and saw a ton of folders with a long ID and “Masks.” In this multicam project I have about a 15 minute segment for one camera that required a tracked mask (which worked very well, though it took forever to plot). Anyway, after 3 days of editing I now have 22GB of Auto Save files with Masks. Each folder is 651MB. (However the Masks folder in the project root folder is over 900MB. What’s up with that?)This is the first time I’ve seen a Masks folder, I guess this is part of the new masking scheme. Aside from slowing the frequency of updates, is there any way to cut down on mask bloat?
