Currently editing a documentary using Beta and having some issues with audio on 2 different machines. Machine 1: M1 Max MacBook Pro, full spec. While scrubbing through interview footage, every few seconds the 'Audio disk I/O overloaded' error pops up. Audio will cut out for a second. I start to scrub again, it'll work for a bit and then the same thing happens. Machine 2: M2 Ultra Mac Mini. Scrubbing through interview footage when audio will abrubtly cut with an error saying ''audio from clip not found'' with the waveform clearly showing in the timeline. Footage is from a RED exported as ProRes 422 in DaVinci.
With the new UI changes, the transitions all appear selected. It is also very difficult to see if a clip is selected. It's not visually distinct enough. I've attached a screenshot to illustrate. This is happening under Premiere Pro 24.5.0 Build 57
Steps to reproduce: 1. In the 24.5 Beta if I have "Transmit Multicam View" enabled and move a multicam clip from V1 to V2 (or higher), the Multicam View is disabled and reverts to a single camera view at a reduced quality. Result: Only seeing 1 camera at reduced qualityExpected: See multicam view with all cameras visable System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.5.0.48 OS: macOS v14.0.0, RAM: 64.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 24
Everything works witih the edit tab as normal but noticed after updating today that when i move into export then back to edit, one of my workspace windows is gone. I have to toggle to another workspace then back for it to show. going to keep messing around and re-save my workspace again and create a new one and see if it keeps happening.
The latest version of PP Beta (24.2) keeps crashing on me witing a few minutes of opening a project. Everything seemed fine until I tried to click on the Enhance Speech option. The program immediately crashed. It has continued to do so every time I subsequently open up the program. I initially thought it was an issue with the Enhance Speech module. In fact, I located the "Add-ons" section of the program listings in Creative Cloud and saw that Enhaced Speech was not added. So, I added it. Still no good. In fact, when in the program and clicking on another editing feature, NOT Enhance Speech, the program again immediately crashed. This is a new development as I have used the Enhace Speech feature before (and was frustrated by its constant rendering every time I made an edit). I just tried the feature again on a different project with the same results. I am on a MacBook Pro M1, Sonoma 14.1.2 (which a new update as of yesterday). At the start of this issue, I was able
In beta version "24.6.027" I can't import final cut pro xml files into my project. When I start loading them I just get a loading window, then it disappears and nothing changes in the project. My operating system is Sonoma 14.5, m2 pro
Build 27 After a while the entrie UI freezes but it still works. If you hit play you see the video running in the Program window. Cannot do anything else. I did get one time some sort of drawing error. Need to close the Premiere with the Task Manager. Kind of reproducible.
I just updated to the latest software update and now my screen is completely glitchy and pixelated.
Does the flip horizontal and vertical effect stopped work in this beta version ?
1. Solo or mute an audio track - see the S icon appear yellow and/or the M appear cyan.2. Lock that track3. The muteness or soloness cannot be determined because the M and S revert to their grey backgrounds. I assume this was not the result in previous versions? (I'm on PPro Beta 24.6.0 x9, Windows 10)
For some reason, all the text I have on my scrolling sequence disappears in Adobe Premiere Pro BETA but shows up in the standard version on Premiere Pro Attached are a couple of screenshots. Sure hoping you can help. Best,Paul
This is a comparison between 24.4 and 24.6. Look how at how few effects I can see on the Effects panel in 24.6 now that the spacing has increased massively.Additionally, there's so much wasted space in the bezels of the window on all sides. But especially the bottom area with the New Custom Bin and Delete Custom Bin buttons. I have used those buttons basically one time to set up some folders of custom effects and never again. This should not take up that much space for a feature that is so rarely used, and even if it was commonly used, is still extremely easy to click with the old thin bezels. We see this again in the list of keyboard shortcuts all now having this huge spacing which makes it so much harder to find things quickly as you'll have to scroll lots. I appreciate most of the other windows have similar spacing to how it's always been done, but please revert these back to compact spacing as it's always been. It's especially frustrating for people still using 1080p scre

After todays update Premiere Pro Beta text box is totally corrupted, all my dialogue text box stayed invisible, unable to be seen or edited in any shape, form or ways
I run Enhance audio on a 40 minute clip (takes a while) then I split it with the razor tool the Enhance audio rescans the clip as if it was a brand new one. This takes a long time to rescan. Not sure if this is a bug or a feature request but it is taking me hours to run Enhance audio on a days worth of recording. I wish it could somehow remember its settings and just adapt to the split. I consider it a deal breaker on long format content to run this in advance if it restarts when you adjust your clip length. Maybe I'll find a way to run it once I am done editing and ready to render.
For info :I have been spending a lot of energy following up with Adobe Support on two issues that have killed Smart Rendering in last versions of Premiere Pro (for nearly 2 years ?) :1. Loss of Video Preview Files (random files)2. Use Previews tick box not working in Media Export to speed up Exports (even if you have a green line above complex renders) Status -Support confirmed item 1 is still being investigated as of 11th June 2024. Not fixed. On item 2 - Support asked that I tested the 'Use Previews' function as they were under the impression there was an early fix for this in Beta Version. (There is no mention yet in any documentation that I can see) So I performed some tests on an existing project (ignoring Text Layers Issue) with latest Beta 26.6.0.021Select Export Media with same codec as that used for Previews - in my case ProRes 422.Export with ProRes 422Select in and out points on timelineExport starts - as soon as export reaches a clip with which has a preview with g
Steps to reproduce: 1. Import a ProRes Proxy QT file (via Import and/or relink via ALE/Premiere Project) Result: Premiere crashesExpected: Import without issue I am working in a Production. I am recieveing ProRes Proxy media from a post facility on a daily basis. They send me ProRes Proxy QT files with embedded audio. The process has worked without issue and has not changed. For some reason, today when I go to import the daily ProRes QT files into Premiere 24.5 (Beta), it totally crashes. I have tried importing via the ALE they Provide, via a Premiere Project they create using the ALE, and a direct import into a fresh project; all cause Premiere to toally crash without any error message. These files import into 24.4, but they do kick up this error, "A low-level exception occured in: ImporterQuickTime (Importer:82)." The files will also crash MediaEncoder 24.4 AND 24.5. If I go back to 23.6.6 they load in Medi
When i press intepret footage on a media the program crashes completely and this happens every time
Is anyone experiencing warp stabilizer issue recently? Even I applied it properly it always shows "Unknown Exception on frame 0 in Warp Stabilizer
Sony mxf footage (HD 29.97) is not playing back or only with severe lag and Premiere constantly gives warning about frame substitusions. No issues playing back the footage in other programs such as Windows Media Player and Davinci Resolve also plays back flawlessly. Currently in lastest version of Beta Premiere 24.5. A few versions back everything use to work fine but around the time I upgraded to version 23 is when I noticed this. For a short time using the Beta version of 24 it was playing fine and then when 24.5 updated the footage became uplayable again. Just tried the lastest non-beta version 24.3 and it is better but there is still delay after hitting the play button in the timeline of about 1-3 seconds. I have long-gop footage from other camera models like Nikon and even 4k on from that camera plays back fine so I think this something unique to Sony footage. Please look into this issue as Sony cameras are used
I mostly edit in list view. Close/save the program a such. When opening project again project window is now in icon view. Build 17 (been like this for a couple of builds)
Eveytime I try to make edits to the work space the Premier pro (Beta) crashes or freezes
Steps to reproduce:1.Alt-middle-mouse-scroll-wheel in the Subtitle track to resize it, like I can with Video and Audio tracks. Result:It enlarges, but disppears off the top of the timeline panel and it's impossible to drag the divider (like I can with the divider between the video and audio tracks) Expected:Subtitle track should enlarge downwards, into the Video Track space. System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.5.0.24 OS: Windows v10.0.19045, RAM: 127.91 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 32
I don't recall if I reported this previously, but it occurred as early as 22.6.0.50. Steps to reproduce: Create transcript (source or static I think). Export as .txt. Reimport unchanged (or with edits). Result: A - Space is added between transcript segments. In the original export, segments are separated by: CRLF CRLF If you re-export, segments are separated by CR CRLF Space CRLF CR CRLF CRLF CRLF B - If create captions, spaces appear as boxes with X. (These can be edited and removed. Or if you simply open the segment for editing but make no change, the space remains but the box/X is gone in the caption on the timeline.) Expected: No space would be added. Workaround. Export original transcript as .txt. Merge segments outside PR by adding a single space after each segment and removing the line ending. (This creates a single, word-wrapped segment.) As timecodes, use the begin timecode of first segment and the end timecode for last segment. Import a
when dragging a new clip up onto the invisable space above the tracks on the timeline. premiere creates a new track. on this new track usually theres default height its set to. in the stable release this is okay and normal. but in the beta i have noticed that the track height when making a new track is 2 steps up bigger. than in the stable release.if anyone can get round to a fix on this that would be amazing! as my tracks are now always too chunky! haha
