Where is the pull down menu for HDR merge and panorama merge in Camera Raw Utility in the new update? It used to be located inside the fly out menu above the film strip.
I have just switched over to 12.3 and one of the first things I have noticed is that the ability to mask how sharpening is applied appears to be gone. In the previous versions of ACR you could adjust the details mask to remove pretty much all of the picture apart from the highest contrast edges from being affected by the sharpening, with the advantage that sharpening could then be heavily boosted in just those areas with zero impact on the rest of the image. It created more pop with a more natural image. That facility is gone. In fact there is literally just a sharpness slider with no options to adjust threshold or radius let alone the mask. Any ideas? Are these controls no longer required? Is sharpening on 12.3 massively more advanced than before?
In the previous versions of Camera Raw it was possible to change the color-rating of a picture with ctrl+6, ctrl+7, ctrl+8, ctrl+9. With the current version this doesn't work anymore. How do I change the color rating with the current version?
I bought a Nikon D750 a week or two ago and found out that Camera Raw didn't support this model. The very next morning there was an update available and now CR actually recognises my camera but still won't recognise RAW files, only .jpg. Is this the case for everyone or just me, as I did experience an error message when I installed the update?
Creative Cloud updated Camera Raw to version 10.3 this morning and now Bridge wants to regenerate all 237,000 thumbnails and previews in the cache. Which represent 14 terabytes of tiffs and will take days to complete. How do we make it stop? Is there a way go back to the previous version of Camera Raw?
I used it constantly - super convenient, compared to the crop tool - but with this latest ACR "upgrade," (12.3-0.493) I can't find it.Am I missing it? Is it now buried? Or is it complete gone?Very, very disappointed with this new version.
Good day,I've finally installed the update after choosing to forgo the process for some time.As I am opening images in ACR, i'm seeing new field called profiles.. and I am seeing sharpening now reads 40 instead of 30.I am assuming this has to do with an update, but Is there an actual change to the values? Is acr changing profiles when image is opened? Is the new value of 40 the equivalent of what used to be 30?Is there a way to hide the profiles selection?thank you
A week or so ago, after losing use of CR following that crass update, I followed Adobe's advice to get Camera Raw working again by changing the psp ending on Photoshop to .old. Why I had to do that was a complete mystery, but it worked for a few days, but now when I try to open an ORF file it just comes up a mass of diagonal lines. I'm a photogtrapher, not a computer geek. Why am I having to put up with this?Anyone know what the real fix is?
How to remove DNG Converter 9.5.1.595 ?No entry found in “ Systemsteuerung\Programme\Programme und Features“No uninstall script exists within the installation directory “ C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe“Not any instruction on the InternetAnd also the update to DNG Converter 12.0.0.322 does not replace the older Version.Any help is welcomeUwe
I Can not find the sharpening mask, or the radius etc in The sharpening area. There are only 3 options. I attached a screen shot.
Adobe, you just perfectly screwed up, and ruined my entire workflow, in one go.Is there a way of getting compensation for the time wasted on getting through this mess? It will cost me days to find a rhythm in this new set-up, it will stress my hand scrolling up and down, which was one of the reasons why I didn't go for the Lightroom. Why not make the lot floating, this way everyone can set it as we prefer it, make visible what we want to see, and have it where it works best for us, like in Photoshop, InDesign, etc.? Working on two screens would be a blast if we could have all the tools folded out and accessible all at once. Why did you swap the positions of buttons like done & open? Why removing the green color from it? Who is guiding you and where are you going with it? BTW, if I was looking radical changes I would have gone for PhaseOne, On1 Raw, Luminar, or Aurora. Sticking with you was because of years of practice and adjusting to a workflow that became a solid habit,
Camera Raw 13.2 is a real disaster. You have destroyed a wonderful program!
sorry guys at adobe, this version is simple a senseless distruction of a real good program/tool which it was before. i wonder how and why you did this. it is obvious the version before was much quicker to use and perfect for a speed-up workflow - i will deinstall the new version (12.3) and use the version before.
The new camera Raw doesn’t allow you to edite files for Focus stacking there isn’t an option any more to edit and then OPEN AS LAYERS IN PHOTOSHOPits gone
Dear UI/UX ACR genious, what in the world made you think we would love this mess?At lease would you kindly code an option switch to the normal, standard, well loved UI and your new one?The software functions are really good implemented and I like them very much, but I just can't use the program. and I am paying for it.
In my Mac's Camera Raw Defaults folder, there are a lot of small files with names that start with "Default," followed by a long string of numbers and letters. (See attached screenshot). What are they and is it OK to delete them? Thanks,Russell
I need a version of camera raw to open my files from my Panasonic Lumix TZ95
I`d like to transition from Panasonic gh5 video (10 bit 4:2:2/All-I) to gh5 time lapse video (and of exactly the same composition). The colours and other parameters would need to match for the transition from real time to time lapse not to look odd.Using After Effects I produced a tif sequence from the real time video so that I could then open the tifs in Adobe Camera Raw using Bridge. I then processed the tifs in ACR, and then the raw stills in ACR in exactly the same way.But the two resultant renders are WAY different. I don`t know what I`ve done wrong.Any suggestions as to how I can colour match real time and time lapse, ideally using Adobe Camera Raw, would be really appreciated. Thanks. IanFootnote - it just occurred to me - I used hlg as my picture profile for the video. This presumably is the reason for the difference. But will Standard profile be better? Experimenting now...Footnote two - standard profile even worse due to poorer dynamic range. I guess it`s trial and error

I was using camera raw just fine the other day, but now when I make an adjustment on a raw file I get an error message. Unable to save the raw conversion settings. The file coild not be created. Any ideas on what's up with this?
Why it is so slow to crop with the new Adobe camera raw
I've recently upgraded to the newest version of Photoshop and ACR on my iMac (Catalina 10.15.5 - dark mode). When I open an image in Photshop and use the ACR-Filter on it, the contents of the ACR-Popup become unreadable. The background of the window is black and there is no description on the sliders and tools. Has someone encountered the same problem? Does anyone know a solution?
