Camera Raw

Hi everyone, i´ve read a lot of articles and looked for answers already but somehow i could´nt find any solution how to solve my problem. Camera Raw clearly states that RAW CR2 of this old Canon Body EOS 400D is supported but somehow it converts the RAW CR2 into JPG (Lightroom CC / Lightroom Classic) or TIFF (Photoshop CC) when I import those files. In the photos folder on my mac they are marked as CR2, I even can work with the RAW format with ColorSync app that is provided by IOS. I already looked for new format drivers on the Canon homepage as well, but no luck. Seit ein paar Tagen erscheint der Text: Der Vorgang konnte nicht abgeschlossen werden, wenn ich den Camera Raw Filter im PS öffnen will. Was kann das Problem sein. Es ist alles aktuell laut Pc. Was kann ich noch tun?      {Thread title edited by moderator}

The tool descriptions don't appear in Camera Raw when I hover over each tool. A little yellow box appears but contains no text/description     {Thread title edited by moderator}

Is it possible to open arw files from the sony ar7 iii in lightroom 5?

I am using the latest version 12.2.1 of the Camera RAW Plugin in Photoshop on a iMac. The information behind buttons is showed in a yellow box with white text. So it is impossible to read. How can I change this this setting? (As in Photoshop, a yellow box with black text). See attatched screenmovie. Thnx Rob.

The LR 7.10 and ACR 10.1 Effects panel Post Crop Vignetting Highlights Slider has no effect on the image. It appears to be disabled in the latest update version. I tried resetting LR Preferences file and the issue remains. It has been reported here:https://forums.adobe.com/message/10057058#10057058

ORF files will not open in lightroom classic raw or photoshop. this has just started any ideas  

Post removed by myself. I made a really stupid mistake.

My work flow: i open select multiple images in ACR for initial sync of lense correction, white balance, image mode and few other. Followedby, i want to open these RAW files in PHOTOSHOP in stacked layers. i want to focus stack those layers.  could not find any way of doing so. Please advisethanks.   

Photographer friends // Need helpI was doing a timelapse over the weekend and for some strange reason half way through the timelapse, it decides to force a 16:9 crop onto the image when I try open it with any Adobe program. Even though when I preview the image in finder it shows it without the crop. I've opened it in Lightroom, Photoshop, Aftereffects and the same thing happens every time. I tried using the crop tool in ACR and that doesn't do anything, I've basically lost the top and bottom of the image which is super annoying.The closest I got was with LR timelapse, but when I did the visual preview it added the crop onto it, arggggg no help.Have a look at the below image URL, the left image shows the normal aspect ratio the photos were shot in and the image on the right has a forced 16:9 crop which I can't find out how to remove. These two photos were taken 10 seconds apart on a remote timer. The camera had not been fiddled with or anything.Anyone have any idea why this happened and

Quisiera saber porque me aparece esto al querer activar mi camera Raw: " No se ha podido completar el comando Raw de camara por que no se ha encontrado el plugin de RAW de camara de Adobe ", teniendo ya instalado mi camera RAW (v.9.1). Tengo Photoshop Cs6. Hasta intente con camera raw v.10.  De ante mano gracias. I would like to know why I want to activate my Raw camera: "The Raw Camera command could not be completed because the Adobe Camera RAW plugin was not found ", having already installed my RAW camera (v.9.1). I have Photoshop Cs6. Even try camera raw v.10.  Beforehand thank you.

Hola me gustaría saber si han observado que en la ultima actualizacion del plugin, en el menú corrección de lente, ya no aparece la opcón de corrección de perspectiva que permitía corregir: horizontal y  verticalmente, o total. Tanto manual como automaticamente?Lo pregunto porque en el día de hoy me he puesto en contacto con un operador de Adobre y no me ha saido dar una solución, mas allá de decirme que volviera a una versión anterior.Muchas gracias, saludos a todos.

Hello everybody.I uploaded here 2 variants of raw. They're pretty similar, but 1 opens, 2nd - not. In the last version of ACR/LR and almost any other similar software. Reports about software failure, without any additional info and possibility of skipping this window and go further. BUT it opens and processes in RawTheraphee and RawDigger, so that I can conclude that the file itself is not corrupted.  It seems like it can't go through the metadata verification. If so, can you help me? Maybe you should expand permissions in this case or provide it as an options. Because in principle files can be opened and be useable. I have a big pack of such raws. Thought I could find a solution. Tried to upload raws here but it won't upload unopenable variant. Is it really checking right here?

Es ist schade, dass zunehmend mit Ergänzungen via Updates festgestellt werden muss, dass gewohnte, einfache Abläufe nicht mehr verwendet werden können. Man kann umständlich via Voreinstellungen irgendwelche vorhandenen "Standards" auswählen, dabei muss ich aber dennoch für jede geöffnete Bildserie die Profil- und Aberrationskorrekturen des verwendeten Objektivs immer wieder erneut aktivieren: Man muss jedemals die Objektivkorrekturen erneut aktivieren. Folgendes Vorgehen wurde im Support an die Hilfe verwiesen, um mein "Nörgeln" zu entschärfen. Why, do the numbers from 1 to 100 turn into 101 to 2020? 

Everytime I use Camera Raw to do noise reduction it crashes and the whole program shuts down and I lose all my work and have to start over.It's happened several times and sent several crash reports and nothing's changed. Now I have to remember to save everything I've done before opening Camera Raw for fear of losing it all. If I forget, I'm screwed and will lose everything, every time. If your software update isn't stable then it ought not be released. This makes me angry beyond belief! How do I install an older version that actually works like its supposed to?Let me guess...I can't! I'm stuck paying for this piece of...well...software...that doesn't work like it's supposed to and wastes my time.Maybe it's time to start looking for alternatives.

Impossible to easily see the tool tips. Is there a setting I'm overlooking? as I wrote in the title - enclose a screen 

They will open if i drag them to PS, but not when I double click them. When I double click them, they just open in preview. Also, sometimes when I drag a bunch of CR3 files to PS it only show s part of them in Camera Raw.

I use photoshop CS6, camera raw 9.1.1. I have anew camera that requires camera raw 11.1, I cannot open the raw files. What should I do ? Can I download the latest version of camera raw ?thanks 

Camera raw version 10.3 had the camera calibration panel, on it were the profiles and controls for camera calibration. The current version 12.2.1 has the profiles in the Basic panel and keeps the controls for calibration in the panel called Calibration, but the application, dng profile editor, necessary for this version, where can it be downloaded?

Hey guys, I'm trying to import a large number of .DNG images to make an HDR panorama using Camera Raw, in Photoshop 2020. I've been doing this all week with other photosets, and it's been working beautifully. But today, every time I import this particular set, the final merged image has a strong green/cyan tint across the left-hand side of the image, and a strong red/magenta tint across the right hand side. It doesn't show up when it initially shows the merged panorama in preview, but shows up after it's fully processed the image.  Initial preview... all looks good Final version... after it finishes processing the complete image
