Camera Raw

i recently obtained a new canon 1300d i took a few photos and then tried to open them in photoshop cs6 (after installing camera raw 9.1.1) and it came up with the following message; Adobe Photoshop CS6 ExtendedPhotoshop cannot open this file. if you are attempting to open a raw file from adigital camera, make sure you have the latestCamera Raw update installed via Help > Updates...if the problem persists, please visit the followinglink for information:Cameras supported by Camera Raw ____________|       OK            ||____________|

Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere but I haven't seen the exact same problem elsewhere and none of the other answers have fixed my issue.  The last time I tried to do focus stacking in photoshop I selected multiple images in lightroom and selected edit in photoshop.  I then got a camera raw window with all the images in a browser at the side.  I could make edits on one and synchronise the settings before merging in photoshop and making final adjustments.Now photoshop by-passes the camera raw and opens each file.  I cannot bring them all into adobe camera raw and I've wasted hours already trying to find out what's changed and how to set it back.I do not have 'Show "Start" Workspace when No Documents are Open" checked.  Has anyone got any other solution to my problem?Thanks for reading

I have CC 2017 on macOS/10.12.3, including Camera Raw CC, which is up to date.  Neither this camera nor its built-in lens are in /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles/ or /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/ .  Also, there are not on the list of supported cameras and lenses at Supported lenses .  This is just about lens correct, as I have no problem reading the RAW (.SR2) files.The Sony DSC-R1 is a 10-megapixel APS-C camera with a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 5× zoom lens f=14.3–71.5mm (24– 120 mm when converted to a 35 mm still camera)  F2.8 – 4.8.  Any suggestions?

I've got the Lightroom 5 version and I am absolutely happy with it, BUT I can't import any RAW files taken with my Canon EOS750d.Do I really need to buy the Lightroom 6 version only to work with RAW files?Kind regards,Talitha

Seit Jahren verwende ich dng Converter , um die Camera Raw Dateien zu konvertieren. Das hat bis anhin gut funktioniert. Seit ich mit Fuji XT-1 arbeite, zeigen die dng Dateien eine rasterähnliche Struktur, die in der Vergrösserung deutlich sichtbar wird. Was kann ich tun, um dies zu verhindern?

I have terrible obsession about order and harmony. So i am using a lot of Adobe Products but in Creative Cloud App; all icons are in order and harmony except Camera Raw. Are there any future update idea about Camera Raw's icon (like all Adobe Products) and write year like Camera Raw CC (2017) in parenthesis? Sorry for that dumb question but i had to ask..

I have a Mac which wont recognize photos downloaded from my canon 5d mark iv . I called canon they said i need a raw plugin from adobe for this camera. The applications I use to open the photos are Lightroom 6 and CS4. I can't seem to find the download link for this plugin. Can someone please help!

I'm having loads of trouble with photoshop on my newly bought (used) MacBook Pro. I'm unable to open any RAW files and when I try, photoshop crashes. I have been working on being able to add lens profiles on Lightroom. I downloaded Air without a problem and then the Lens Profile Creater 1.0.4 and when I try to open it up it says cxcore100.dll is missing when I can see it in the folder next to it and can open the folder open even. I am on Windows 8. What am I doing wrong?

I've recently updated my copy of Camera Raw CC to version 9.8.0.692 (via the Creative Cloud app) and it seems to be stuck on the Pan tool!!!!!I can select another function in Camera Raw and it will change the tool palette on the right side, but the cursor doesn't change, so nothing can be brushed, cropped, aligned or selected. All I can do it change the overall settings on the main palette. HELP!!!!! Is anyone else getting this problem??I need to edit some images quickly!...and please don't ask me to clean out the space bar, i've already tried that!Cheers,Brendan

Working with ACR v 5.7.0.213, Win XP Pro SP3.I convert my D800 NEF files to DNG using the Adobe DNG converter v 7.1.I need to reduce the size if my DNG's for quicker upload to a client's editors in AsiaI recall reading somewhere something by (I believe) Thomas Knoll that the file size below the large image panel in ACR is a link that can be used to change file size.Sure enough.. then I change the size using the menu that opens and save the edited files out as jepgs.. works fine.  The new jepg files come up sized with the new reduces size.But.. then I follow the exact same procedure and try to save the files as DNG's.. they save out as the original size. Can I reduce my DNG size any way with ACR?  If not.. how?One of my main clients requires that I upload only RAW files to their editors in Asia.  I'm using my D800 body instead of my D3 because of the camera's excellent vitrtual horizon that levels both ways  (the D3 body only levels side to side).Their editors can't

I went to convert my Nikon neffs into dngs tonight and THIS is what came up. (See image) Basically, all of the information on the converter is blacked out, and I'm not able to click anything in it. Anyone ever see this? Resetting, restarting doesn't work. I also can't find the DNG converter in my program list to uninstall (and then reinstall). Any of you computer guru's know what this is? I have googled the heck out of this, to no avail..

iMac 10.12.2, GTX 780M.  Running current CC 2017, Camera Raw 9.8.0.692.  All drivers and CUDA updated.  Use Graphics Processor is ticked.  When I open ONE CR2 file in Camera Raw, scrubby zoom works fine.  When I open TWO or MORE CR2 files, scrubby zoom is disabled.  What gives?  So frustrated.

I am trying to open my .CR2 raw files from my Canon Rebel XSi.  I have installed Camera Raw as well as all of the updates. Clearly I am doing something wrong, but I keep getting this message when I try to open or import images from my camera into Photoshop or Lightroom:If this helps, this is what my .CR2 images look like in Adobe Bridge.Thank you so much for your help!

I have been using the DNG converter for Nikon D5 raw files. Today I upgraded my Mac OS to 10.12.2 (the latest). I then tried to convert NEF files to DNG, and the conversion says "there is an unexpected end of file", and will not convert. Am I overlooking something? I tried updating to DNG converter 9.8 and still no conversion? DO I have to finally move to CC?
