Hello, I have a problem with Camera Raw.When I open a RAW file I get the error message: Camera Raw requires GPU acceleration to edit photos. This morning everything was fine, the error appeared suddenly, I didn't do any updates or anything like that. Photoshop recognizes the graphics drivers,MacOS Sonoma 14.5. Apple M1Photoshop 25.9.1Camera Raw 16.3.1.1889 Thanks in advantage
Camera raw 16.3.1. It doesn't work in Photoshop. I get that error when trying to apply the filter. In bridge it is grayed out and yes I have tried to reset preferences by holding CTRL: IT just crashes my Photoshop. My 3rd party plugin from Dehancer works just fine(But I prefer Camera Raw).I have used cleaner toolReinstalled all appscleared all memorythis started happen after last update but if I reinstall a older version the bug still persist
When I open raw images in Photoshop, in Camera Raw Version 16.3.1.1889, when I click enhance > raw details, it will do that and create a DNG file, but after doing that, when I click enhance > denoise, it crashes and will also crash when I open the raw details DNG file. I updated to the current version 3 days ago and before then, I had no issues and often first used raw details then denoise and it never once crashed. I tried clearing the camera raw cache but it didn't help.I was going to revert to the previous version of camera raw which I know worked for me but couldn't figure out how to do that. Can anyone help?
Hello,is it possible to turn on and turn off diplaying of some local adjustments that I made. Just for comparison.I remember that it was possible before some Camera Raw update. It was made by some keyboard shortcuts.I know that I can turn off and on all adjustments by Cmd+alt+P but I want only one of them.Tahnk you.
I'm trying to open an HEIC in Camera Raw from Bridge but am unable. In Camera Raw under Preferences then File Handling I only see "JPEG and TIFF Handling". I'm on Windows 11 and the Camera Raw version is 16.3, and Bridge 14.1. I thought under the same preference menu it was "JPEG, HEIC, and TIFF Handling". Is this not supported on Windows yet? Am I missing some other update maybe?
After installing Camera Raw 16.3.1 when opening a DNG file, it just open white in Camera Raw. Before 16.3.1 this wasn't an issue. If I open a JPG file (which shows up fine) and click "Enhance" the result just turns out white. This didn't happened before 16.3.1 either 😞 MacOS
Hello and hoping for some help.Shot a concert that had very dark light, and very skewed color. Images were Nikon NEFs, which I then converted to DNGs via Adobe ACR/enhance (noise reduction); which produces beautiful results BTW.I now have a collection of DNGS, and want to set the WB via ACR/eyedropper tool, using a closeup of a keyboard's white keys.Unfortunately, even with this dark shot, I can't set the WB, and instead the error message "The clicked area is too bright to set the white balance. Please click on a less bright neutral area). The image is NOT overexposed. (screenshot with image attached).Hoping someone can offer a working solution for this.Thank you!!!!Jerry
hello again, i found out specifically that in camera raw 16.3 and 16.3.1 in windows running the mouse over the presets ( many ) causes overflow or excessive video memory usage as well as excessive GPU usage to the point that it crashes or slows down. i have widows 11 up to date and NVIDIA drivers updated to 555.99. I attach an interface problem in the smart mask controls.
Almost 1 week I am struggling with ACR since I used it most of the time. I never had GPU problem before working with ACR but after recent update everything is crashing at the moment.I have been digging forum and I can see several people reported similar issues, clearing cache or reseting preferences didnt work. When trying to use more than 1 tool GPU getting crazy, fan working with highest speed. This is not a BETA version I am talking about. I will be happy if this will be fixed soon cause its terrible to work in such a condition when you have lots of things to do.What didnt work:Removing old presetsClearing cacheResetting preferencesRe-applying NVDIA control panel settings to PhotoshopPlease let me know what I can do else.Best regards,

After installing Camera Raw update 16.3.1, tif files preview in Bridge does not work.os: Windows 11 Home
On MacOS 10.11.5 (El Capitan), I updated Adobe Photoshop CC to version 19.1.5.On this occasion, the Camera Raw application was automatically updated to version 11.2.0.135.Following this update, my ICC profiles other than the default ones (Adobe RGB, ProPhoto RGB, ...) are no longer visible in Camera Raw (see screenshot below).I tried to copy the ICC profiles into all possible directories related to Camera Raw but nothing solves the problem./User Library>Application Support>Adobe>CameraRaw>CameraProfiles/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Users/[User name]/Library/ColorSync/Profiles...Obviously, before this update, the custom profiles were clearly visible in Camera Raw !I specify that my custom profiles are CMYK profiles and not RGBThank you for your help
hello, camera raw 16.3 and 16.3.1 in windows causes overflow or excessive use of video memory when using smart masks and presets. also in a resolution of 1080 x 1920 in the control section of the smart masks there is overlapping in the interface hindering the correct display of the controls. regards.
Starting in Camera Raw (CR) I "open as object" to Photoshop (PS). When opening in PS, I often go back to Camera Raw (CR) to make a small adjustment. I see the changes made when going back to PS, as I would expect. However, just today, after going back to CR for brush work on a small area of the face, then opening and seeing correct changes in PS, when I go back to CR, the previous small area brushwork seems to have been converted to cover the entire face. I then cancel CR, otherwise the change I didn't make sticks. I've saved the image, closed everything, updated NVidia Driver, updated windows, Photoshop, Camera Raw, etc. and when I go back to work on this face in the image again, it's the same issue. Very strange. Any clues here? NVIDIA GForce RTX 3036Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700K, 3600 Mhz, 12 Core(s), 20 Logical Processor(s)32 gigs RAMWindows 11 Pro
Version 16.3.1 does not work with Windows 10 on Photoshop 25.9. When I install this version, I try to open a raw file and PS freezes to where I have to kill it in Task Manager.I have to reinstall version 14.5 of ACR for it to work with PS 25.9 and not freeze it, as well as use ACR tools. I had similar problems about three weeks ago and was on the phone with tech support. That person said it is a known issue and there will be a fix coming out. That fix is not in 16.3.1.Anyone know when this windows fix will come out?
I'm using the denoising in the "enhance" feature in Camera Raw and the process uses my GPU for the first few images then stops using GPU. The processing slows down significantly at the point where it stops using GPU. I can see the GPU use in the performancem monitor start out high for a few images then it goes to zero with an occasional spike. I have the latest version of Camera Raw (16.3.1). My GPU is an RTX 4090 and CPU is an i9 14900k running Win 11. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks
Hello everyone,I'm experiencing a problem with Photoshop, I can't use Camera Raw and other tools that require GPU graphics acceleration. I've tried lots of things but nothing works.- Updating graphics card drivers- Force Photoshop to use NVIDIA via Windows graphics settings- Modify 3D settings from the NVIDIA control panel- Tried disabling one graphics card and then the other.None of this makes any difference. Hi, all.I'm new to this program. Who knows how to make it so that when cropping an image, it is not the image boundaries that are reduced, but the image itself within the cropping boundaries is enlarged? That is, the behavior would be the same as in the color and light correction toolbar when zooming in or out of an image using the mouse.Or maybe you can somehow immediately crop the picture in the color toolbar itself, defining the boundaries with the mouse? It's more convenient. In terms of speed. And it’s visually clearer what and how to cut.I looked in the help, but I’m still so “searchable” that I couldn’t find these key combinations.Otherwise you have to take a frame from whatman paper and use it to determine what and how to cut, so that it is visually visible. But now it’s 2024, not the last century.
Problems with latest update Photoshop 25.9.0 stable and Camera Raw 16.3, the cutter does not constrain the crop, I find the warning shows overlap also on the side superimposed on the Light box, continuous processor freezes. OS Windows 11 updated 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 processor @ 2.40GHz 2.42 GHz updated on 05/29//2024, before this update everything worked fine
This morning, I was fat, dumb and happy opening .NEF (Nikon RAW files) on a M3 Mac and all was fine. 1) I would double click .NEF files in the Finder and they would open in Camera Raw.2) I would make some adjustments in Camera Raw (exposure, color, geometry) and then open in Photoshop Beta.3) All was good. Same workflow I have used for years. THEN! Creative Cloud updated Camera Raw and Photoshop in the background and all is BROKEN: 1) I would double click .NEF files in the Finder and they would open in Camera Raw. (so far, OK)2) I would make some adjustments in Camera Raw (exposure, color, geometry) and then open in Photoshop Beta. BROKEN! It now says "The embedded ICC profile cannot be used because the ICC profile is invalid.Ignoring the profile" when opening in Photoshop. The image now is only monochrome. Further -- If I open an existing .PSD file and try and use the Camera Raw Filter, same issue. The image is destroyed and turned into monochrome shado
The masking (M) selection is not working, when I choose the mask selection there is a pop up window with the new changes to the masking tab, but there is not x button to close the new changes window, then freezes all of photoshop, I can't even use masking in camera raw, only way to exit is through task manager, I tried resetting control preferences in camera raw with holding ctrl down, still not working please help I loose my work when it gets frozen
Is an Intel Core i7 - 1362H 13th Gen processor with integrated Iris Xe onboard graphics and 32Gb DDR5 RAM suitable for PhotoShop, particularly Camera Raw Denoise or should one go for a dedicated GPU ( RTX 4050 with 6GB RAM)—ideally, the Denoise render to take 30 sec. The file image is Raw and approx 30MP.ThanksRegards Richard
why is Camera Raw 16.3.1 not showing the image only data? I'm on PS 25.9 and macOS Sonoma 14.4.1
