why is Camera Raw 16.3.1 not showing the image only data? I'm on PS 25.9 and macOS Sonoma 14.4.1

This my request is for your Scientists Team of Adobe Camera RAW (……..Eric Chan?)  Gentlemen, I would like to ask you about the possibility to implement in Camera RAW an instrument for border sharpness recovery, either on a single type of lens or independently from the used lens, based on AI recovery of the Astigmatism of the lens.Border sharpness is usually occurring due to astigmatism present in the lens and my question is if would be possible to implement an AI instrument in Camera RAW which: analyses the image and detects, if any, the presence of astigmatism at the borders of the image. Effectively corrects and recover the sharpness at the borders of the image using two different sharpening patterns, one of them based on the sagittal pattern of the astigmatism, the other based on the meridional pattern of the astigmatism. I think this will be greatly appreciated by landscape photographers, but not only by them, particularly if they use old lenses.I thank you

Camera raw stop functioning after receive update. After open it photoshop enter in deep sleep mode (freezy) 

Recently, ACR has added some firefly tools. Generative filling and others.If you switch to the remove section, the generative fill tool is always first. It is selected there by default.In life, I use generative filling in Photoshop, since it is more advanced there, and for all sorts of small and frequent actions I use the heal tool, but I need to switch to heal every time when opening the detail removal section - this is wildly inconvenient!!!How can I make the heal tool there by default?

Hi All, Does anyone knows how to create your own profile in Camera Raw?? I know in the 10.3 version it was easy, but I can't seem to find how to do it in the new version.  Thank you!

Does camera raw have some option to resize raw files while editing so it can faster move to next image. Someting like proxy videos in Premiere, but you know, for pictures in Camera Raw. And when exporting, of course, export from original file so it doesn't lose quality?

I am retying to create a new Raw Defaults preset for my camera. I have successfully created these in the past. But when I create them today I cannot find them. No error message when creating. Just nothing.Then I notice a menu choice "Show Partially Compatible Presets" and when I click this I see the many presets (with different test names) that I was creating but they are grayed out. What is a partially compatible preset? How do I create a "usable" Raw Defaults preset? What am I doing wrong? Thanks,Peter

Issue: Constrain Crop when checked does not actually constrain to the image boundries. Camera Raw Version: 16.3OS: MacOS, Sonoma 14.4.1Expected Result: Camera Raw Crop should contrain to the image boundries when "constrain crop" is checked if different Geometry options are selected Actual Result: Nothing Changes, Crop stays the same.   

All of a sudden I can't open Camera Raw in PhotoShop. I get this message. It doesn't matter what kind of photo. I have never seen this before.

Hi there!My Camera Raw Filter doesn´t work in PS. I don´t see any GPU in Photoshop "Preferences" - "Camera RAW".There is just a notification - "Camera Raw graphics accelerator is not supported by your system."  But there is my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 in Photoshop "Preferences" - "Performance" visible.  This method doesn't work because Photoshop crashes every time, I launch Camera RAW Filter. Go to the following locationsC:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRawRename the GPU folder as 'GPU.old' (add .old at the end)Restart Photoshop and Camera Raw again.  MY SYSTEM: Operating System: Windows 11 64-bitAdobe Photoshop Version: 25.5.0 2024Camera Raw (Version 16.2.0.1763) GPU 01: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, 8GBGPU 02:  Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630RAM 64Gb  I also added some screenshots here.Could you advise any decision of this problem? Thank you!Best wishes

After ACR 16 & Br 14, I am getting almost always out-of-memory errors, and then GPU gets disabled. I need to restart Br. System and GPU RAM are 24GB and 8GB.  A very unreasonable situation... Any ideas? 

BonjourDepuis quelques jours lorsque j'essaie d'ouvrir mes RAWs depuis l'explorateur Windows ou depuis photoshop j'ai des problèmes.Caméra Raw ne s'ouvre pas et Photoshop se bloque.De même si j'essaie d'utilisé le filtre camera raw depuis photo shopC'est des extention traditionnelles CR2 et CR3.Malgrès pas mal de recherche je n'ai paqs trouvé la solution.J'ai réinstaller la dernière version de photoshop et de caméra Raw mais c'est toujours pareil.Merci pour votre aideJe suis sou Win11 et avec la dernière version photo shop et caméra raw

Hi there!   I'm a Panasonic Lumix S5 user and I tend to prefer the camera matching profiles instead of the Adobe ones. I noticed however that when I use the camera matching monochrome profiles they all have a weird red hue mostly in shadow areas and the histogram confirms this. The problem is not present with Adobe Monochrome and is very subtle. I attached an example where I increased the saturation to make the red hue issue even more visible.

Select a photo from Bridge and open it in Camera RAW.Apply a mask to the photo.Selecting a point color in a mask becomes unstable and freezes.   Windows Update, graphics driver is the latest version. (Geforce 1060)   This phenomenon does not occur on Windows 11.   Windows10 , Camera RAW 16.3 , Bridge14.1 , Photoshop 25.9　（Japanese Ver.）

Hi,Using LRT Timelapse, which relies on DNG converter, I have a problem with one of my lenses. The lens profile of the  Lumix S20-60mm doesn't get applied within DNG Converter, however, it works fine in LR Classic. As a result I get quite a bit of distortion and vignetting in LRT.All other lenses seem to work wtih LRT & DNG Converter, just not that one. Any idea or is that a bug that can be fixed?Thanks,Peter

Every so often, someone reports that they have a major problem with some important set of images because a beta or technical preview feature messed things up. This is a gentle reminder to all that "important image" and "beta build" do not go together. If you're going to work with a technical preview or beta feature, always do that with copies or throwaway test images, never with actual working files. No matter how exciting or useful or game-changing an early-access feature looks, unexpected things do happen.   Always have a backup, and a backup plan. Never trust production work to beta software.
