Camera Raw

I want to use ACR in Photoshop and use the last settings applied.When I do that manually, it works ok. If I want to automate it as an Action, It doesn't work because the Action saves a list of specific values and not a group of values (that could be stored in Preferences). That group of values could be a file that could always save the last specification usage of ACR in PS. For example, Liquify saves the last mesh used as a file on Preferences:"/Users/pedrocm/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop 2022 Settings/Liquify Last Mesh.psp"Then I could call it in an Action or Script, and it would work always having the last used mesh Liquify specifications.For example the code call for "Liquify Last Mesh"{"$LqMD":"/Users/pedrocm/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop 2022 Settings/Liquify Last Mesh.psp","_obj":"$LqFy"}If I do the same on ACR in PS, the code is not the "ACR last spec". Hello,   I have bought a Nikon Z7 II . Nef files need to be converted to DNG I have heard. Which version of the DNG converter is necessary? I have lightroom 2015.14 Can I upgrade my RAW 10.1 ?

I'm thinking of buying a Google Pixel 8 phone, but Adobe camera raw support is a must-have for me. I'm seeing all over the Internet that the Pixel 8 / Pixel 8 Pro are now supported, but if I go to the UK supported cameras listing they are not included. Go to the US site, and they are there. Hi all,I am attempting to batch crop a large number of photos using adobe camera raw, but upon saving, all of the files appear with a "_1" suffix. This is creating a lot of extra work for me because I am being forced to manually revise each title to remove the suffix.I understand why ACR does this, but it is really counter intuitive for the purposes for which I am using ACR. I am working out of a folder in which I need to maintain the hierarchy while batch cropping, and there are around 300 sub-folders, so specifying a new location to save the crops will not work either, as I would have to create a unique location for each sub-folder, and yet still replace the old files manually. This takes FOREVER, and honestly defeats the purpose of me batch processing image crops in the first place. I am using ACR because I often need to edit each crop before saving, and ACR is the only program I know of that will allow me to adjust each crop independently, as opposed to applying a generic center-we

Adobe insists on tweaking Camera Raw in ways that add hours everyday to my workflow. Breaking up the color adjustment menu from the Basic adjustments is a clever idea for some coder - and TOTALLY adds extra steps to my workflow. The whole menu system in Camera Raw should be customizeable. Same with being able to rate an image in bridge without having to hold onto the command button. You used to be able to disable that being necessary. Then someone thought that was uneccessary. WHY??? Now my ratings don't always work and it is a mess.   PLEASE don't mess up something that is not broken!!

This bug has happened to me multiple times on ACR 15.0. I open multiple photos to edit and then randomly I'll try to move onto the next image but the screen still displays the previous one. No matter which image I select from the side bar, the image on the screen is still the same photo it got stuck on. I can save that image as a JPG, I can save any of the previous images, or ones I have yet to edit (even though they don't display on the edit screen) and they show up in the folder they're saved to, however I can't click "Done" to save the settings on all of the images I have opened, I can't click  the "open" button which would also save the edits I had previously done and open the current photo in Photoshop. My only option is to click "Cancel" which for some reason actually works.  I get the prompt that pops up asking if I want to cancel all changes and dismiss camera raw when I click cancel, however neither the Done or Open buttons do anything when pressed. I've had this problem before but now it's back with vengence! I shoot interiors so work with between 2 and 20 layers normally. I adjust shadows, highlights and shadows on Camera RAW via Bridge and then... Tools > Photoshop > "Load Files into Photoshop as Layers" Quite often (again) the changes I make in Camera RAW don't follow through to Photoshop.i.e the first layer I increase brightness and reduce shadows but in Photoshop the layer just shows as if I haven't made any adjustments. It's costing me hours and hours of work. Can anyone help please? I posted several months ago but nobody had any ideas. Adobe please?? I haven't made any changes, my PS and all apps are up to date and working on an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019) 3.1 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i540 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 The only sollution I can find is to re-start my iMac but that's not suitable as I'd spend hours of my day re-starting. Thanks

Hi there, I'm using the up to date camera raw as well as the display card driver for raw conversion but it keep crash during the converting process. Can aomeone help to solve this issue? Thanks in advanceDennis 

I recently bought a new camera – FujiFilm's X-S20. With my previous Nikon camera I used to drag the raw files into Photoshop and edit them in Camera Raw before exporting out jpegs. I've done the same with initial photos off my new camera and they are looking absolutely woeful.   I've attached two jpegs, one was processed in camera and the other has come via the raw. All I've done to make it is drag the raw file into Camera Raw, select the Provia/Standard camera profile, open the file in Photoshop, convert it to 8bit then save out a jpeg.   As you can see the images I'm getting from Camera Raw are blurry/lack sharpness. It's less apparent in this image but a lot of them have a strange glow to them. I'm using Camera Raw 16.0.1 with Photoshop 23.5.3 (2022).   Is there anything that can be done about this? Cheers.

Recentemente fiz a atualização do Ps, Camera Raw e etc.... Porém após essa atualização quando clico para abrir o camera raw, ele literamente trava e sou obrigado a forçar o fechamento do programa.  Após a atualização tbm qualquer imagem em alta qualidade que exporto para o PS ele trava e sou obrigado a fechar o programa pelo gerenciado de tarefas.  Na atulização antiga o CAMERA RAW funcionava peerfeitamente, como voltar ? o que fazer? uso Windows 

Estou enfrentando esse problema já faz um tempo, procurei soluções pelo fórum, pela internet a fora e ninguém conseguiu encontrar a solução. Simplesmente quando abro o CameraRaw, ele trava e me bloqueia de todas as tarefas. Unica coisa que aparece é uma barra de progresso que nunca carrega. isso está prejudicando meu trabalho! Nos ajude Adobe!

Pessoa, bom dia!Voltei minha versão do Photoshop para uma versão anterior a mais atual, pois meu notebook não tinha mais recursos para acessar o atual.Está rodando bem, porém não consigo acessar o Camera Row (requer aceleração do processador gráfico para editar fotos).Alguém sabe se consigo também retornar o Camera Row para uma versão anterior ou o que posso fazer para abrir?Já acessei 2 versões anteriores do Photoshop e não abriram mais o camera row.

Recently got a Canon R6 Mark II. Took some Raw images (CR3) and uploaded them to computer (Windows) via Bridge. Images do not appear in Bridge ... just icons ... and when I try to open them in Camera Raw (version 16.0), I can't: either the Open Camera Raw option is greyed out or I get the error message: "The Camera Raw settings could not be applied because there were no Camera Raw files selected or selected files were read-only". According to the file properties, they were not read-only and the Raw file(s) were definitely selected. Any ideas???

The following ACR keyboard shortcut page has out dated for new ACR UI. It has new and different panel order. On Windows, Ctrl + 1 ~ 9 are assigned. So, 9 times out of 10 when I have used camera raw on a smart object, when I try to re-open it, it freezes on the progress bar and I have to force quit Photoshop. I lose all of the work I have been working on as well as the opportunity to save any of my camera raw settings.I searched through the Adobe threads, and there have been posts with the same issue as early as 2017, including one in which an Adobe employee replied, saying "you couldn't possibly be still having this problem six years later. You are mistaken." Well, I'm here to tell you, with much certainty, that Adobe has yet to address this problem and in fact, Igor me it's far worse than ever. If nine out of every 10 times I try to re-open camera raw it freezes everything then why am I using Photoshop at all? Forcing me to start over on an edit is absolutely unacceptable and if you aren't going to fix the problem then at least give us a workaround solution to at least be able to shut down Camera itself without having to clo

When I open open camera raw filter artboard/work area is completely blank. If I scroll down enough the image pops up but is very zoomed in. If I try to zoom out it drags the image off the screen. I can only scroll down to about half way through the image before it just stops scrolling. It is currently unusable because I can't even veiw my entire image.

Hi all, When I use Radial Gradient in Lightroom Classic, feather interections are visible inside and outside. See screenshot. But when I ue the same tool in Camera Raw there is now inside intersection, only outside. See screenshot. Is it possible to enable this somewhere in Camera Raw?  

So after literally 8 months of not being able to use the People masking feature, we got maybe 2 months of beautiful full usage and now I just installed the most recent oS update on my 2020 iMac and the masking tool in CameraRaw is COMPLETELY shutting down the program. I tested it in LRC and it happens there, too. I have restarted the program and the machine of course and still the same issue. When opening a Canon CR2 file in Adobe Bridge 2024, Adobe Camera Raw 16 does not allow me to select Blue Primary in colour Calibration.  It gives an error sound and often closes the current screen.Green and Red Primary are both selectable and work fine.  Previous versions of ACR all worked ok.Seems to have occured when ACR16 was installed, Installing ealier verion of ACR cures problem. Mac M1 max, Sonama 14.1.  ACR16 silicon, Lightroom Classic 13.01 silicon, Photoshop 25.1 silicon Open BridgeRight click a CR2 imageSelect Open with Camera rawGo to CalibrationBlue sliders are not selectable.

I use Adobe Camera Raw to generate enhanced RAWs.After that, I use PhotoLab to apply DeepPrime and other settings on the generated DNG files by the Adobe Camera Raw.But I got a message in PhotoLab: Cannot load image data.PhotoLab Elite 7.0.2 Build 83Adobe Camera Raw 16.0.0.1677I contacted DxO support and after exchanging some messages they suggested that ACR has done something nasty with its generated DNGs and it is not PhotoLab fault.PhotoLab Elite 7.0.2 Build 83 is working fine with enhanced DNGs by ACR 15.5.0.I mention that I also use RawDigger from LibRaw LLC.RawDigger exhibited the same error trying to load enhanced DNG from ACR, but they fix it in the latest beta.So maybe there is something changed in the DNG format generated by ACR.Have you experienced any of the above issues?

Permissions error showing for SOME Cr2 files. Help 🙂   When any adjustment is made in Camera raw, and when you click done,  The error comes up.  Unable to  save he raw conversion settings,There was a write permissions error.While working on a network.This does not happen to all Cr2 files, which is really weird.Help please.

Has anyone experienced the the image on the screen going completly black when you move the slider? No matter how much I move the slider, +1, +10, whatever, I can no longer see the image on the screen. Photoshop and ACR are both up to date and it doesn't matter what camera (or camera brand for that matter) I'm using.

been using photoshop elements 2022 for awhile.  Like it. updated (a misnomer) to elements 2024, but can't get the raw plugin to show.  "installed" it twice, but still telling me I have to install it.
