Camera Raw

There's a problem/bug with ACR 15.4.1 (it's been a problem for a while now). When panning, THEN zooming with the option + scroll wheel, the image "moves." This is very annoying and distracting. This is not how Photoshop works. Attached is a video of the issue.

Hello averyone, i am not a young photographer but i do love my photoshop. My husband and i run side by side computer systems with every spec the same. We run  photoshop version CS5 on both systems. His can open his Camera raw 6.7 version without problem and see his Canon 5d Mk3 files in raw but mine does not...  when i try to update raw or bridge it comes up saying error n ot able to do for some reason. is there a way i can take the version of his Camera raw 6.7 and install it onto my sytstem? i do notice that my camera raw version is not the same as his... If not where can i get it from.. online is useless as all ADOBE want from me is my monthly subscription which i just do not have the money for. I already own CS5 which does everthing i need it to do beautifully,  thank you for your help to an old lady.. 🙂

Hallo,ich würde gern mehrere Roh-Dateien aus dem Programm Camera Raw gleich schon in einer Datei (PSD) öffnen oder speichern.Ist diese Funktion verfügbar oder muss ich das im Nachhinein über Skripten>Dateien in Stapel laden machen?Hintergrund: Zusammenbau mehrerer Belichtungsvarianten, Erstellung GIFs usw.Ich würde mir gern diesen Arbeitsschritt und damit Zeit sparen. Eine Aktion ist in dem Fall zwar möglich, das möchte ich aber umgehen. Vielleicht hat Adobe dafür ja inzwischen eine Lösung gefunden.Vielen Dank!

I created a Camera profile today using color checker camera calibration for my Sony. This creates a DCP file and placed it into Mac: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles. After restarting Adobe ACR and Photoshop the profile does not show up.I tried to import the profile manually but when trying to open the file it remains grayed out. Not able to select the file for import. Is there something i am doing wrong ?  

Hoping to get some help with the new feature in Photohop Camera Raw that recognizes each family member's face and retouches teeth, skin, eyes, etc. Would like to apply options in varying opacity's for each family member. Is someone able to walk me through step by step on applying a few selections on one family member and another selection with lower opacity in another? Thanks, Jared

I have used raw files with PSE versions for more than a decade. Suddenly, my PSE 2023 won't load raw images from a Canon that it used to load last month. It says I need to load to Camera Raw Update, but when I try to load it I get one error that it is already loaded and then a second that my administrator prohibits loading it. So I spent hours with my system administrator yesterday, who said he is doing nothing to block it, but he couldn't it to load, despite reinstallign PSE. So today I completely rebuilt my XPS laptop with Windows 11 from scratch, no institutional limits, running it as administrator, loaded PSE 2023, then the Raw Update, still no luck. Now I just get the error that I need to install the update, but when I try, I get the error that it is alreay loaded. I am totally flustered and woudl be grateful for any help.

How Can You Change The Order Of Tabs in Camera Raw v16 Interface ?I am using Windows 11.I would like to move the order of tabs I use most frequently, to the top for my workflow.I am new to ACR , any help apreciated.Picture attached.

Does camera raw 16.0 not support Intel Graphics HD 4000? In Photoshop, an exclamation mark appears when I open camera raw and there is an instruction "camera raw requires GPU accelerator to edit photos"

Or at least it is on my machine so I'm just surrendering that info for anyone else who is finding similar. Raw to Tiff - FineRaw to Jpeg - FineRaw to compressed DNG (but full sized without jpeg preview) - 10% of the usual speed unless I switch to v14 All within tested within Lightroom - Preferences reset yadda yadda yadda Lightroom v13, ACR v16, WIndows 10, 64gb ram, 7950x cpu, 3070ti.

When I convert a Photoshop layer to a smart layer and then apply a Camera Raw filter, I am missing icons for Crop and Snapshots - why is that?

In Camera Raw, in the tools on the right side "basic"  adjustment tool is missing. Also, when I click on the Edit icon, no panels open up.  Any Suggestion?

Since installing v16 of Camera Raw it no longer automatically accesses my addition GPU, an Nvidia Quadro RTX4000. It defaults to the Intel UHD Graphics 630. Scrolling through large numbers of photos and using any of the tools is extremely slow compared to earlier versions. I cannot find any options that allow me to select the Nvidia GPU in the Camera Raw settings. Photoshop v25 still allows me to select the Nvidia GPU, so why won’t Camera RAW. As a fall back I was hoping to roll back to an earlier version of Camera Raw, but I see that is not an option either.

I just updated Adobe Camera Raw to version 16.0 but it doesn't work as I need to update my GPU. (actually I need a new computer!) In the meantime, how do I restore to the previous version?

I've recently acquired a Nikon Z8, and right now I'm having some trouble with the annoyances that are embedded lens profiles. As I'm using third party lenses adapted from Nikon F to Z, the embedded profiles are always wrong, as they get set to some similar Nikkor lens. This of course results in wrong profiles being applied in Camera Raw too, of course, thus the need to select the profile manually, as the EXIF values are wrong.However, I've noticed a special behavior, probably a bug: using my TAMRON SP 35MM F1.4 DI USD lens and manually selecting the correct profile results in some circular, ring-like artifacts (see image).This seems to be limited to this particular lens, at least I haven't seen it on any others yet. While it is more pronounced in higher ISO settings, it does not seem to be a case of banding - raising the exposure slider does not yield this effect or any kind of banding. Also, I have never noticed this with my D850. Also, is there any way to completely turn of

Adobe states on the "Adobe Camera Raw graphics processor (CPU) and troubleshooting" web-page:" GPU requirement coming soon for photo editing". When can we expect this to happen? Could you please let us know what GPU properties are expected to be good for editing in the next few years?It would be good to know before I buy a new computer.

(or any other mode except the Masking mode)Press Ctrl+1 (on Windows) to switch to the first tab in the edit mode.The edit mode is activated and Color Panel displayed. This is expected.Activate the Masking mode (press M or click on the icon)Press Ctrl+1 (on Windows) - nothing happens. Also nothing happens for Ctrl+2, Ctrl+3, etc. Expected result: after pressing Ctrl+1 (on Windows) the Edit mode is activated and Color Panel displayed. This was working as expected in previous versions of Camera Raw.

When opening up my raw file I'm no longer seeing my texture slider or my clarity slider????

Hi,Did you just remove luminance slider in new Camera Raw update? I was using that option quite often.Btw, for years every options were sorted between tabs, now I have to scroll down every time to find options/sliders I want. You just made my workflow 2x longer. When I open camera raw and had some panels expanded in last session my slider is all the way down, I have to scroll up everytime, what is going on??If only those panels had different shades of grey. Can't you just give us an option to go back to old look?Cheers,

Hi there,I'm currently testing the new lossy compression feature in Camera Raw 16, and I'm finding the file size reduction to be quite impressive! However, I've noticed some unusual artifacts when using super resolution on a lossy compressed file, which I'm not observing with a CR15 lossy compressed file. I'd like to know if this is a tradeoff of the file size reduction or if it's a bug.Thanks,Edu 

Just updated to the new ACR and wanted to use the enchance feature. When I go to use it I get the following error:  When I check the graphics card it says it supports metal and is 64gb quad core (2015 MacBook Pro i7 running Catalina 10.15.7)I have checked in both Bridge and PS preferences and I don't have the option to switch the GPU.  Any ideas why this isn't working?
