How about a keyboard shortcut ("X"?) to switch between focus & blur? This would make for vastly improved editing efficiency where the focus depth algorithm misinterprets what details are near & far and you've zoomed in to rectify with the focus &/or blur tool
I have read a few post trying to find a solution but nothing seems to work for me. Here is the difference between camera raw and the psd file. I have no idea why but when i make a print screen, camera raw gets very bright. But even then, the difference between the color is quite big. The red is better looking in camera raw than in the psd. I hope someone knows how to fix this.
First off I love Lightroom in all iterations: cc classic and mobile. Now that I do a vast majority of my photography on mobile, The limitation of exporting only unedited originals as DNG is a downer. I edit a large portion of my photos in LR mobile and I’m stuck with a not so awesome JPEG as my only export format. DNG or PNG would be fantastic as it preserves the original oomph of the raw capture and allows for higher quality edits in other apps/programs. (I know HEIC is in the works). Greatly appreciated!
Does Lightroom plan to support heic/avif with SMPTE ST 2084 PQ and P3/Rec.2020 color gamut HDR files in both import and export?
Bonjour je ne ne trouve pas la pipette balance des blancs sur camera raw 16.1. comment l'installer ?
I appreciate Sharpness is used in masks in ACR and the amount can be varied - but what is it actually doing? Is it similar to Texture and Clarity? If Sharpening is used in ACR it can be selective and the various parameters can be suited to taste.I am trying to determine which will prove better for finner detail.
Dear Adobe Support Use Case & Setup I own a Nikon Z 7 II with a kit lens, the Nikkor Z f/4 24-70mm, which I use a lot when travelling. Typically, I would shoot a lot of images at 70mm and build panoramas, which is why I need vignetting to be eliminated completely, as the bright, respectively dark vignetting on the original pictures can otherwise be seen in the final resulting panorama. The problem It seems like there is no way currently to automatically correct the lens profile to remove vignetting using the NIKKOR Z f/4 24-70mm kit lens. The process I typically import my images in .NEF and first convert the to .dng (with lossy compression). I assume this step has no impact but I'm mentioning it here for completeness. I have seen similar posts on this forum but they don't seem to answer exactly this question. More on this later. Here is what I see, to give you an example: After importing and without profile corrections enabled, you can clearly see vignetting j
Muchas gracias
There is a big bug in the update!Camera Raw 16.1 HDR without data and small size which is not possible, so I will not update for the time being as long as that bug is there... and it has been that way for a long time since the update... 😞

I want to use Superresolution in Adobe Camera RAW 13.2. Adobe help says to "right click on the Filmstrip" in RAW 13.2 to open the new Super-resolution menu. (I use Command-Shift-A to get to RAW)My problem is that I never ever see a filmstrip in RAW, only the single image I work on in Photoshop. How do I get to a filmstrip so that I can click on it?? thanks www
I like to convert my raw files to dng for the simple reason ... the sidecar files, i dont like those. Is it better to use adobe lightroom or capture one for that matter to convert raw files to dng, or is it better to use adobe dng converter? alot of my dng files just show as dng icon in my mac finder window as u can see in the attachment.
The Panasonic S5 Mark 2 was allegedly supported shortly after release, however, i have lost id say about 15-20% of all imports to unspecific 'error's with the images up until most recent updates. This frustrating issue as with all things Panasonic has resulted in hot potato between Adobe and Panasonic, with neither party admitting fault nor responsibility. Frustratingly lost some fantastic shots from my travels.

Create toggle to roll back to previous version in splash screen that doesn't require graphics accelerator. Otherwise, thousands of tablet users are obsolete for Raw users if me. All Surface Pros, etc...
I have the same problem, but in Photoshop, when I use the camera raw filter the photo changes color, I have already disabled the performance but it didn't help
Hello,When I am increasing dehaze value on my pictures, the colors change drastically. Is this a bug or natural occurance? And how can I prevent/correct this?Examples:Dehaze value 50Dehaze value 25Dehaze value 0
Possible Bug. ACR 16.1Mac OS Sonoma 14.2.1Happens in both LRc and PS - no surprise there.Profile Corrections turned OFF Following images taken with a Nikon Z9. Look on left and right side for differences.NX Studio first shows correct file size per Nikon 8256x5504.Next image is Fast Raw Viewer which shows file size as larger 8280x5520Here's the rub though - look at the left side first and see how pixels to the left of small silver Bialetti are missing. It's not the proflie/lens correction that is off and I tried the different crop modes. Also looks at the right sixe and you see a brown wood handle in the NX Studio and FRV image that is missing from ACR. ACR with no profile correction. LRc with no lens correction
Hi, has anyone noticed a problem with perspective correction in Camera Raw? It doesn't work properly after the last update for me - v. 16.1. Perspetcive transormation stretches the image like "Aspect" slider instead of aligning vertically and horizontally, both with automatic and manual correction. In addition, automatic correction in some photos distorts the image in a strange way. Is there a way to downgrade ACR?
Photoshop 2024; Mac OS 14.2 Hi there, probably user error but this is what happened: I spent what seemed like ages healing lots of sensor dust spots from a NEF file in ACR via the normal Healing Tool, then later I decided to use Reduce Noise with AI, that done I noticed spots in the sky when I was applying a tone curve, I investigated by Visualising Spots and was horrified to discover another rash of new spots that required me to heal them all again. What did I do wrong? Many thanks Simon

Help!! I am eding in camera raw on my mac and everything is updated. When I go to edit the photo will change temp as i touch sliders like exposure but in the preview at the bottom it shows how im editing so I go off that. once I save it looks WAY darker and off . What in the world is happening and how do i fix it
I'm invoking DNG converter 16.1 from the command line in Mac OS Sonoma 14.2. When using JPEG XL compression (e.g. with flag -jxl_distance 0.2) I only get a 256x192 pixel preview in the resulting DNG compared with a full-size one without the jxl flag. This seems to me to be a bug, or is there a workaround? Command is of the form "$dng_converter" -d "$output_folder" -p2 -lossy -jxl_effort 4 -jxl_distance 0.2 /Volumes/Untitled/DCIM/source_file
I have a new Z8 which I am just beginning to learn my way around. I have an existing D850 for several years. And I have used ACR & Photoshop as an amateur for many years. This Z8 is quite a different beast. One thing (of many) that struck me right away was how different the images from the Z8 look in ACR. And particularly some of the starting values in ACR are not what I had expected and quite different from the starting values for a D850 NEF file. See below image - there are two sets of comparisons from ACR. The first pair (D850 on the left Z8 on the right) show differnces for initial settings for sharpening and noise reduction. The second pair (whoops, the Z8 is on the left thistime and D850 on the right) show differences for claity & texture). I am used to editing files from the D850 starting with Sharpening at 40, Radius 1.0, Detail of 25, and Luminance zero. But notice that ACR begins with very different values for files from the Z8. Radius of 2.0, Sharpening 24, Luminanc
