Hi!I just installed my new mac book pro, latest M1-max with top spec and running latest PSD and latest Camera Raw.When I in Camera Raw trye to merge 6 raw files to a HDR-Panorama file I get the following error message, thet the merged oicture exceeds the biggest alowed file size. I never had this error on my older macbook pro with older camera raw. The exact same raw files (sony A1)
Hello Everyone,While CameraRaw does support raw files from my Panasonic G85, I don't see Panasonic on the list of manufacturers under lens corrections.Do I need to install profiles manually or do those not exist?I did try searching for this topic but didn't find anything on it.Thank you,Gene Yuger
I cannot use half my presets in Camera Raw because they are considered incompatible because the profiles are missing. I cannot even see Camera Matching Profiles. It's almost like it is acting as if it were .JPG file. My photos are CR3 files and I have do not have these issues in Lightroom. All my programs are up to date. Anyone know what's going on?
Open NEF files in Camera Raw > do my edits > Convert and Save Image button in top right > save / export as PNG (with ALL METADATA clearly selected) When I do this, the file appears where I want it to (Edit folder) without metadata. DNG or JPEG alway appear to include the metadata, but the DNG's don't like to open in Window's proprietary Photos App in full resolution for some reason, and JPEGs .. I don't like lossy compression. Oh, and the DNG's won't ever appear elsewhere in the Adobe Creative Cloud or Bridge ecosystem with the edits I made. They always appear as they did when they were RAW files. This is enormously frustrating.
I installed Monterey on my Macbook pro and now bridge camera raw and lightroom will not detect my Nikon D500. I have all the updates and the latest dng. What can I do to get this fixed?
Hi! Good day everyone! How is camera raw opened. I do not see an 'open' tab as I do for PS. Camera raw is listed under PS. Thanks in advance for any possible ways
I’m using a Mac 10.14.6 Mojave.Photoshop CS6 with Camera Raw 8.3.I had DNG Converter 9.2.0. It worked last time I used it a couple of months ago (I’ve been ill) Now it doesn’t.Does anyone have a solution why this happened and what to do about it?I’m retired and will not be upgrading to a newer system or subscription PS, but would like to continue with PS6.Thanks for any assistence you give.
Photoshop Elements 2020, version 18.0 currently has Camera RAW 12.0.0.321 installed. This will not open CR3 files. I've tried to update to Camera RAW 13.1 and 14.2, but neither one takes affect in Photoshop Elements, it still shows 12.0.0.321.Does anyone have a solution?
I'm trying to duplicate results for a photo from 2016. I did filter > stylize > Find Edges and the used "auto" on that to get a much darker image (plus other enhancements). Now when I do "find edges" in PS; then go to ACR and auto, the image doesn't change at all ie "auto" has no effect on this very light image. Why and is there any way to activate what should be a very simple operation for ACR (and worked great back in 2016). Similar results if I take that Find Edges back to Lightroom to test if it's the same (NON) result. Very perplexed,Judy
My Camera Raw just Dissappeared and I can't find it or reinstall it
Hello! My workflow involves opening multiple files in Camera RAW, making some edits, then opening them as layers in Photoshop. For the past few months I have been having an issue where the edits done in ACR do not carry over into Photoshop; forcing me to have to do the edits over again by opening each layer in ACR from Photoshop. This only happens when closing ACR and opening as layers from Bridge. If I open directly from ACR, the files contain the initial edits. Unfortunately there is no way to open as layers from ACR I've been on the phone with support on multiple occasions with no solution, and RESETTING PREFERENCES DOES NOT WORK! At one point, after updating Photoshop all seemed to be fine. However this week, the same version started acting up again. I just installed the latest update to no avail. Any help on this is greatly appreciated since it has slowed my work down considerably I am on a 2019 iMac IOS Monterey v 12.1 / PS v 23.2.2 / ACR 14.2.0
REQUEST: Add a "Copy/Paste Name" function to the presets! REASON: Being able to copy/paste the name of the preset in Camera Raw into the PS layer after you open an image is important. How can you remember later what preset you used to open the image? You get a nice result and later you want to remember what preset that was... There currently is no simple way. PROBLEM: Currently it is very convoluted and troublesome to copy the preset name - and a little dangerous. You have to right click, get the drop-down submenu, then hit "Rename Preset", then go to the dialog box to rename the preset, then carefully select the preset name - being careful not to accidentally erase it, then "Copy", then hit "cancel", then paste the name of the preset into the layer after you open it! Whew! SOLUTION: A simple "Copy Preset Name" function added to the right click menu would be tremendously useful! Alternatively, just to be able to double-click on
Camera Raw: CTRL+ALT+O cancels all changes without confirmation Hitting CTRL+ALT+O in Camera Raw opens the image and CANCELS ALL CHANGES without any prompt. Considering that CTRL+ALT+0 is the 100% ZOOM it is way to easy to accidentally lose ALL of your work!!!HOW IS POSSIBLE WORK AROUND?
Aloha! I feel so lost. I cannot afford to upgrade or even update because I know I will lose files and LR catalogs and I need to find a DNG convertor for CR3 files that will work on my OS Sierra 10.12.6 - can anyone help me? Mahalo for trying!
My workflow is this: Shoot 1000+ photos in RAW. Open them all at once in Bridge -> Camera RAW. Select All. Click "Auto". Drag Highlights to 0, Shadows 10 95. Right-click a thumbnail and save them all as JPEG. Click Done. Then I go through the JPEG's and select the few good ones, and move their ARW (Sony RAW) and XML files to a separate folder for editing. However, at this point, when I reopen these in Bridge -> Camera RAW, the XML file doesn't contain the "Auto"-button adjustments. The issue is that I have to select-all and click "Auto" again .. and any manually adjusted individual pictures, this second "Auto" wipes those adjustments and I have to adjust them all over again. On smaller batches where I adjusted a lot of pictures, on the second open I have to find the un-adjusted pictures and manually click "Auto" on each one of them. A lot of labor. I've found that if I put
Hi guys, I've just updated Photoshop. Then, as usual since Adobe created such horrific new versions, I installed Camera RAW 12.2.1. This usually works perfectly well. However, since the latest PS update this version of RAW no longer seems to work and I get the following message when I attempt to open RAW files: Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file Wondering if anyone else has encountered the same issue?
I have Mac OS high Sierra, I have canon 6d mk ll. I want to convert my raw files to dng. Awhile back I had to erase my hard drive and re-install high Sierra. Now I can't seem to find a dng converter that willwork. I got one version older version to open, but it wouldn't let me convert. I could open the folder where the images were located, but that's it. Any ideas?
Hi guys, I'm currently facing an issue with converting .NEF files to .DNG via the DNG converter 14.2 and i was wondering if this is a bug or did i do something wrongly. I'm using:-DNG converter 14.2-Windows 11, 64-bits , OS build 22000.493- .NEF photos from nikon z7 CameraSo the steps I did was to select the folder to be converted in DNG converter, added a suffix in the converted file name and click convert. Afterwhich I loaded up the converted .dng file in to nuke without changing any settings, but the result I'm getting looks glitchy. Oddly the converted file looks fine in photoshop, it's only not working in nuke. I've attached the settings for the converter as well as the expected result vs actual result. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!! Thankyou1
라이트룸7.0 에서 사용하던 프리셋을포토샵 카메라라우 14.1에서사용할수 있는방법 없을까요?
Anyone with a happy experience of how to go about getting this on an older Mac?Would be happy to hear please!
I have a 4800 x 3113 jpeg texture. When I open it in Camera Raw and use Enhance > Super Resolution, the resulting DNG file is 1024 x 664. Huh? This seems like the exact opposite of what Super Resolution is supposed to do. At the very least, I would expect to get output that is the same resolution as the original. Any ideas?
I'd like to see a search function in the presets menu, or a way to create a 'favorites' folder.
The latest version (11) is not supported by my operating system, but I believe dng converter version 10.3 might work on my OS, and will definitely support my camera files. However, I can only find download sites for dng converter version 11. Can anybody tell me how to access versions from last year?
Hi,I am using the latest ACR (11.2.0.135).I like the auto button very much.I know that by default, clicking auto will change all the sliders to a "perfect" fit according to some algorithm.I know also that I can perform the auto change on each slider individually by double clicking on it while holding shift. But, my question is the following:I only want the auto mode to change 4 sliders out of 10.Is there a way to set the settings of the auto button so that it only affects a few sliders and not all of them ? Thanks!Philippe
The CR2 Files of my Camera require Camera raw 11.4. My PSE 10 supplies just Camera raw 6.7. Is there an update possible and availible?
