Camera Raw

Hi,does anyone know how to set a camera-profile as standard for importing raw-files.I do not mean presets.I would change from "Adobe Standard v2" to my individual profile for specific camera.It should work also in LrC ...Thanks ...

With the new update on camera RAW I notest the 'Auto' on the settings bars.Because someone is editing the photos for me, I was wondering what this means?When I edit myself, the 'Auto' does not show

Hi there, Anyone know if there's a way to get the old keyboard shortcuts back? I am a tried and true Bridge in conjunction with Camera Raw user and it's been perfectly fine all these years for the Keyboard shortcuts pertaining to labels to be in sync between the two apps. Now that Raw has switched out of nowhere it's been extremely difficult to get used to and not very workflow friendly. Issue: Old keyboard shortcut: Command + numberNew keyboard shortcut: (first you have to make sure you are not in an offshoot menu, so I generally have to press E) Number Qualms: The new method always requires that extra keyboard indicator when the old method didn't care which menu I was in. Also, old way had Camera Raw and Bridge using the same shortcuts. New way has the two apps using completely different methods.

hii have notice that in camera raw v12.x and 13.x gpu is disabled under w7 and w8same computer , same nvidia , same video cardi'm talking about basic video card feature like zoom ,pan and so oni did a test and it's really weird , haven't tested camera raw v11.xabout v13.x there is that w10 is neededbut about v12.x is compatible with w7 and 8/8.1i know w7 is gone and it's oldbut is just a question ?can you confirm that camera raw gpu (video card) v12.x is not working under w7 ?thanks

Dear Adobe,I have just bought a new Nikon Z 50 camera, and an Asus Geforce GTX 1060 turbo videocard. Both was pretty expensive (for me). And I want to use your Adobe Camera raw, but it is not possible at all. One of the reasons, why i choosed this video card, because I have Windows 7 SP1, and I am not willing to upgrade it to windows 10, but this videocard is still supported under Windows 7.But your oldest Camera Raw which already able to support the Nikon Z 50 .raw format is the version 12.1. Which should be good, because it is also supported in Windows 7. But it ask DirectX 12 to support the GPU. In breaf: For the Nikon Z50 raw pictures minimum needs Adobe Camera Raw 12.1, the Adobe Camera Raw 12.1 is supported in Windows 7 Sp1, my videocard is also supported in Windows 7 Sp1, but you ask DirectX12 to use my GPU, althought DirectX12 was never created for Windows7. My question is how can I solve this issue?Is it possible to make an earlyer Adobe Camera Raw compatible wi

Hi guys, a few months ago, in the lenses profile in Camera Raw, there was the Irix Nikon 15 mm 2,4 firefly, but since last week, under Irix folder there are no lenses available; when I click on brand Irix, Camera Raw return this error: "impossibile caricare il profilo obiettivo" (impossible to load lens profile). What I can do to solve this issue (and download the Irix 15mm 2,4 Blackstone or Firefly lens profile)? I'm not so skilled to re-install the software (...and also my english is so poor). hican i know where is the detail slider in detail shapering ?in the last version of lightroom cc 10.3 there is the texture slider and in the detail panel the detail slider may i know why is missing in camera raw 13.x ?thanks

If you save a file in camera with a serial letter to be appended to the file name, the first time it works: you get a file named [orginal file name]a (e.g., IMG_4507a). But the second time you don't get  IMG_4507b, Instead, you get IMG_4507a_1. Shouldn't the naming proceed through the alphabet.

The newest Camera Raw update (12.4) seemed to change a lot of previous default settings. Now when I use the adjustment brush tool I can no longer pan around the image with the trackpad/mouse. Instead it chooses to resize my brush. How can I revert this setting to what it used to be? If I want to pan around the image and I have the adjustment brush tool selected, I now have to click the hand tool, pan around, and then deselect the hand tool....which is a pain!

Hello,   I recently identified a problem where let's say I have 10.000 images in queue for export it does the job fine but sometimes it fails to recognise my drive for a second.   Now the failure isn't the problem but what is the problem is that Ik keeps going and just skips the files. and then starts again when it has regained access.   It would be really great that if the files can't be found it would either pause or keep trying until it regained access because I end up losing files in batches of 100.000 which are sequences and identififying where something went wrong is a real pain in the asss.

Hi is there a way to block camera raw v 12.x and camera v 13.x to create cache ? with camera raw version 10.x i was enought have the file Index.dat read only and it does block camera raw version 10.x to create tons of file inside the cache folder c:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Adobe\CameraRaw\Cache\   with version 12.x or 13.x , i have really a problem , i have tons of these files inside c:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Adobe\CameraRaw\Cache\ is there a way or a trick to blocking it ? i have 128 GB of ram thanks     {Thread title edited by moderator}

I've spent the last hour trying to find a download of DNG Converter version 8. I keep getting sent to this page and when I click the links to get to the download page, I get the error message:***** Not FoundThe requested URL /pub/adobe/dng/mac/DNGConverter_8_8.dmg was not found on this server.*****Does anyone know where I can download it?Thanks

since updating photoshop & camera raw to latest versions when i use camera raw there are no longer any controls to close it and get back to photoshop. This means i have to log out of Windows 10 then log in again. It is like the camera raw screen is zoomed out  too large with no way to shrink it or scroll around. Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this issue

Adobe Creative Cloud shows I have Camera Raw 13.2. But when I send an image to Photoshop 22.3 it shows up in Camera Raw 13.1 Any ideas on how I can update this? 

I have just upgraded from fuji xt30 to fuji xs10 i had no problem with raw files. however I now cant open them since change of camera.  I am running on high sierra 10.13. my machine will not allow further upgrades so i cannot upgrade adobe raw. anyone have a solution this is mac model iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011) 

Good morning, my computer unexpectedly shut down which resulted in not saving all edited photos in Camera Raw 13.3. Is there a way to recover edited files?

This is probably not the moaning forum but how else do I present concerns to Adobe? What happened to the "Default" buttons in the Basic and the newly renamed Color Mixer  panels?In the Basic panel I frequently hit the Auto button and, if I don't like what I see, I need to reset ALL the sliders to defaults with a single click not one at a time please.Yes I know that I can reset the entire image to defaults but then I lose every other edit I may have made.Also where are the extremely useful  + and - buttons at the ends of each slider scale? I used to use these all the time. May we please have them returned?

I have an Apple magic mouse, which lets me use its upper surface as a trackpad. In older versions of ACR, scrolling with the mouse panned the open image, as it still does in Photoshop. Starting in 2020, scrolling the mouse in ACR began changing the spot-removal brush size and adjustment brush size instead of panning the open image. I want mouse-scrolling behavior to go back to the way it was in ACR and still is in Photoshop. (Oh, sweet consistency!) Why can't Adobe give me the option in ACR to have mouse scrolling work the way I want it to? I searched and found this problem raised in forums in 2020, but as far as I can tell Adobe still hasn't provided that option.

Hi all,After todays Photoshop CC update, opening Raw files result in having "Matrix" displayed under profile in the Adobe Camera Raw window.In the previous version, the available Adobe presets were correctly shown for my Canon EOS 5D Mark III and Sony A7 III raw files.From what I see, the Adobe Application support "Camera Raw 7" folder contains the required profiles.They are also instantly available and accessible, when opening these files via Lightroom CC.Reinstallation of Photoshop CC as well as manual installation of the Camera Raw module and DNG Converter did not solve the issue.Also trashing the CC preferences did not work to make them appear again.Environment- iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015- macOS High Sierra 10.13.14- Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 19.1.5- Camera Raw 10.4 It would be great to find a solution, how to make them appear again.Thanks for your help!Best,Lars

I saw https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/using/enhance.html .   I am on Photoshop latest (13.3) on Mac Mini M1 (Big Sur 11.2.3)   When I go to Camera Raw, I do not see the "Enhance" menu entry.   Please advise?     {Thread title edited by moderator}

I scan old photos at high resolutions and save them as TIFFs to restore in photoshop.  When I open these photos from Adobe Bridge CS5.1, they first open in Camera Raw, which I use to make some adjustments, and then open into Photoshop.  Most times, but not all-say if the photo is a square-the resolution changes, thus changing the image size as well. Sometimes it makes the image large, and other times it decreases it.  I have to go into image size and put the resolution back to what it was scanned at to regain the actual size of the old photos. This is tedious.How do I get Camera Raw to just keep the same resolution/image size that the image was scanned at?Thank you for any suggestions!

I cant remember which update it was, but it was a couple months back and cant zoom out anymore past 6.3%I'm sure I could before as I would have probably noticed this behaviour as its driving me crazy!  Why cant we zoom out like you can in photoshop, its capped at 6.3% and I can edit with my entire composition in frame 😕😕
